Enjoyed staying at this hotel the first time so stayed here again 6 years later. Liked this hotel as it’s small quiet but in a great location. Staff were helpful & friendly. Room was warm (which was nice as the weather wasn’t good) spacious, with a balcony. Many bars and restaurants just around the corner and a lovely 25 min walk into the main town. If I came to Munich again I would definitely only stay here.

I made a reservation here but quickly noticed after making it that many people were complaining about the lack of air conditioning. Being that my visit would be during the summer months, I opted to find a different hotel. I contacted La Maison to cancel, and even though my reservation wasn't scheduled for another 3 months, I offered to pay a small cancellation fee for their trouble. I got a reply from Sven, who was unapologetic and completely unwilling to provide any refund or advice whatsoever. I was locked in. Look guys, this is a hotel that has obviously decided holding customers hostage is a good business practice. It worries me how badly they must be failing in other areas if this basic request was handled so poorly. If just one person reads this review and decides to take their business elsewhere, I will have done my job. Sven, see you this summer - I'd like you to bring up the fans to cool off my room personally.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for few nights in October as it was an autumn holidays in Munich , the main highlight about this hotel is definitely its location,, the hotel is set in a very nice and special area in Munich abit a away from the city center yet you will be surrendered by every thing you want or need during your stay, also the beautiful English gardens are only short walk from the place. On the other hand among the negative items is that the rooms are really hot even when it is not outside , moreover it is very dark so forget about reading or applying make in the room , last thing is the staff which are not experienced at all and they are not able to answer the smallest questions about the hotel, areas, services or what so ever.

Really happy with the way they dealt with our booking. We had a bit of an issue where our travel agent made an error on the booking but Christina from reservations was amazing and helped resolve a rather stressful situation quickly and efficiently and with a smile. Look forward to heading back there next time we're in munich.

Zinmer total überheizt. Die Heizung kann nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption auch nicht pro Zimmer reguliert oder abgestellt werden. Das Gebläse aus dem Heissluft Lüftungskanal dröhnt die ganze Nacht. Ich konnte nicht schlafen und werde das Hotel nicht wieder buchen.

Positiv: Gute Lage in Schwabing mit vielen Restaurants und Kneipen in unmittelbarer Umgebung, wenige Stationen zur Fußgängerzone Innenstadt, U-Bahn Station nur 3 Minuten zur Fuß, Parkhaus direkt hinter dem Hotel, was in München Gold Wert ist. Nettes Personal. Nicht so gut: Zwar sauber, aber viele Gebrauchspuren, Kratzer etc an Wänden und Möbeln im Zimmer. Weil unser Bad zu klein war, befand sich das Waschbecken im Eingangsbereich. Das Becken hatte einen Sprung und war auf eine unansehnliche Metallkonstruktion mit „eingefressenen“ Flecken montiert. Balkon wenig einladend, schmal, mit grauen Betonsteinen gepflastert mit jeder Menge Unkraut in den Fugen. Mit einer Renovierung wäre das Hotel eine wirklich gute Adresse. So ist es nur ok.

Preis / Leistung passt! Neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Tiefgarage, Hotelgäste bekommen einen Tagespreis von 17€, regulär wären es 18€ - also nicht viel Bonus als Gast. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind durch das Schwarz elegant bzw. stylisch. Es wäre jedoch wohl an der Zeit die Zimmerschlüssel gegen Karten auszutauschen sowie Badetüren, die knallen nämlich ordentlich zu. Zimmer Richtung Straße kann bisweilen schon lauter sein. Seitens Hygiene gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Eher weiches Bett, richtig bequem. Top Lage - neben dem Englischen Garten sowie Münchner Freiheit in 2-3min Gehzeit erreichbar, dort in der Umgebung viele Restaurants / U-Bahn.
