Best Nagoya Hotels

"Extremely satisfied! When I was booking, I hesitated a bit because the total price for a 7-night stay wasn't cheap. However, I decided to book it after seeing that it's close to the station, has spacious rooms, and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than those in other hotels. Upon arrival, I was so glad we chose this place; it was incredibly convenient. Nagoya Station is directly accessible from the hotel. This made getting to and from the airport, traveling to other cities, visiting Legoland, and meeting for our day trip to Shirakawa-go all incredibly easy and saved us a lot of hassle. There's a food street on floors 12-13 directly downstairs, where we enjoyed several meals. The lobby is on the 15th floor and features Japan's highest Starbucks. A shopping mall is also directly accessible downstairs, making shopping at Takashimaya very convenient. For an extended stay, comfort is key. The rooms are spacious, offering city views. The shower is large, and the bath amenities are comprehensive. The complimentary capsule coffee machine and other in-room provisions were also quite nice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with incredibly convenient access. If budget isn't a concern, I highly recommend it for families traveling with children."

"The 32-square-meter room with three beds was an acceptable size. The hotel was clean, and the staff were polite. Although there was no Chinese service, their English was good. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation. The only downside was the slightly long 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station (according to Google Maps); I later found that getting off at Fushimi Station would have been a much quicker walk. Nearby, you'll find a Don Quijote, Life Supermarket, and a selection of specialty restaurants. Overall, it was a pretty good stay."

"We really happy with the sat in Marriot. The room is so nice and big and so convenient. Really comfortable. The location is super great and easy to go anywhere. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us to change the room to 2 beds. Very kind. We will go to this hotel again when we are in Nagoya."

"Everything almost perfect. The location is nearby subway sakae station. It also have airport bus from the airport directly to in front of the hotel which is very convenience for who has the large suitcase."

"I frequently stay at Sotetsu hotels, and I'm consistently pleased with their overall atmosphere and service quality. The provided amenities are incredibly comprehensive, including skincare lotion, emulsion, facial cleanser, cleansing oil, cotton pads, hair wax, hair mask, cotton swabs, hair ties, sunscreen, face masks, bath additives, and more. This particular hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. There's also an underground passage leading to the hotel; it's a bit roundabout, but it's very convenient on rainy or extremely sunny days. (The Rikimaru Ramen next door is also quite good.)"

"Five Stars! This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's perfectly located, just about 200 meters from Nagoya Station, with an abundance of izakayas nearby, making dining out extremely convenient. Our twin room even had the luxury of a wet-dry separated bathroom – a definite plus! The staff were diligent and well-trained, ensuring an incredibly efficient check-in process. Plus, there are two highly recommended breakfast spots right next door, Komeda and Hoshino, both excellent choices!"

"Stayed with BWH for nights. Pros: The location is great. Only approx. 5 minutes walk to Sakae Station. There are many restaurants to go to. Convenience shops like Lawson and 7 eleven are just across the road. The double room itself is spacious by Japanese standards (as in the photo). Cleanness is superior. The hotel does routine daily cleaning services including replacing slippers and towels, etc. Almost all amenities are provided at the reception. Must mention that many things like face cleansing gel are from Pola. Cons: The fridge makes clear noise (even when switched to level 1), so that I have to power off the fridge before sleeping. The soundproofing can be improved. I could hear laughter and natter from the next wall (their large voice did contribute though), especially when the night was very quiet. Another one is the small chair on the corner. It kept preventing me from accessing the window side of the bed. Should've chosen a better place to place it."

"For convenient day trips, my initial thought was a hotel near Nagoya Station. However, I unexpectedly discovered that the Sakae area also offered free shuttle services for day tours, so I booked Comfort Hotel Sakae. It was very quiet, offered excellent value for money, and the view of the Ferris wheel right outside the window was fantastic."

"Overall, it was pretty decent. The room rate in September was quite reasonable, and the location is convenient for getting around, situated in the Sakae business district. Several subway stations are within easy walking distance. The hotel was quite busy; I arrived around 3 PM for check-in and still had to wait for 10 minutes. The room wasn't small by Japanese standards, and it even had a massager, which was great for a quick massage after a long day of walking. The front desk area offered a coffee and cocoa machine, and the laundry room next door had an ice machine – all very convenient. The only minor hiccup was that housekeeping misplaced my blanket. It took two days of back-and-forth communication to get it back. While their attitude was very polite, constantly apologizing, their service ultimately fell short. They only provided a hotel blanket as a temporary replacement *after* I specifically requested it. The entire process was very inefficient; once my blanket was located, they first sent a photo for my confirmation, which further delayed things, before finally sending someone to pick it up from the factory. I even had to alter my itinerary for the last day to wait for its return. Aside from verbal apologies, there was no compensation whatsoever. So, a traveler's note: always pack your personal items carefully before leaving the room..."

"Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier is located a short 10-minute walk away from Nagoya Station which connects the Mintetsu, Kintetsu and JR train lines as well as the subway. While not directly above the bustle of such a huge station, Mitsui is conveniently connected to the hub via sheltered underground links. There’s also very easy sheltered access to shops, malls and restaurants nearby. Cleanliness at the Mitsui is commendable. Staff are polite and service-oriented, and very efficient. The breakfast room is a tad small and may get a little crowded on busy days but the food is very nicely done."
