Our top hotel picks are based on price, location, and guest reviews to help you find the best stay.
"The service was absolutely amazing! Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and solve any issues we had. They were so warm and attentive! Plus, there was a lovely lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese, which made communication incredibly convenient. The Japanese-style breakfast was delicious! And the free all-day selection of various drinks and alcoholic beverages was a real lifesaver in the summer heat. The pool and hot springs were also fantastic, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay!"
"The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kokusai Dori (International Street), and there's a bus stop right outside with direct routes to the airport and American Village. The rooftop offers fantastic views, and it's one of the few high-rise hotels you'll find in Naha. The lobby is well-stocked with complimentary disposable toiletries, including facial cleansers and skincare products. While the room wasn't huge, it was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, with complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge. Bed linens are only changed every two nights, which is standard practice in Japan due to their environmental policies. Overall, I found it to be excellent value for money."
"Absolutely fantastic hotel in every aspect!
**Location:** The location is superb, right by Tsubogawa Monorail Station and just a 5-minute walk to the bus terminal. There's a Don Quijote store conveniently located on the ground floor, and a local supermarket just one block away.
**Facilities:** The hotel is modern and well-maintained. Our room was very spacious, allowing me to easily open my 28-inch suitcase. Guests can borrow kitchen utensils from the front desk for simple meals. Each room comes equipped with a microwave and a washing machine, complete with laundry detergent.
**Cleanliness:** The room was spotlessly clean. Do note that for stays of two days, they only replace towels and empty the trash bins, without performing a full room clean. (However, this seems to be a common practice in Naha hotels for short-term stays, where only towels are refreshed.)
**Service:** Exceptional! The staff were incredibly accommodating, always happy to assist with any requests, and consistently friendly and welcoming.
**Environment:** Very pleasant. Despite its close proximity to the monorail line and a main road, the room was remarkably quiet."
"Location: The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from Naha Airport, costing around 2000 JPY. It's a 3-5 minute walk to Kokusai Dori. Just outside, to the right, you'll find the popular Nammuru Ramen, and to the left, a famous fried beef cutlet restaurant. Convenience stores are also very close by.
Facilities: The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and looks relatively new. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night.
Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Service: The front desk staff speak good English. The room was cleaned daily, and two bottles of mineral water were provided.
Overall, it's a good choice and I would recommend it!"
"It's a triple room with a sofa bed, very spacious and clean. Complimentary self-service tea and coffee are provided, and I didn't find the room to be as cramped as some other reviews suggested.
The location is incredibly convenient. There's a FamilyMart convenience store just 10 meters downstairs, and Tsubogawa Monorail Station is only 20 meters away.
I noticed quite a few ********* guests. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but you can easily grab something from FamilyMart.
There's a river right next to the property. Ounoyama Park is just across the bridge; the huge slide there is actually more convenient to reach by walking across the bridge than by taking the monorail. On my way, I even encountered a large crab, bigger than my fist!"
"The hotel is very clean. Having only opened in 2023, it still feels incredibly new and fresh during this stay! The rooms are a good size, featuring a practical wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
Right opposite the hotel, there's a large shopping mall, coffee shops, and a huge supermarket, making it extremely convenient for shopping. I was particularly delighted to find many local Japanese fashion brands available there.
Guests can conveniently pick up complimentary toiletries, coffee, and Twins tea bags from the self-service station located on the 2nd floor when checking in."
"The hotel's location isn't great. Apart from a large supermarket nearby, there's nothing else around, and it's also quite a distance from Kokusai Dori. The room itself was just okay. Housekeeping only came every two days, and they didn't even replace bath towels or provide bottled water. The front desk staff were unhelpful, and the check-in process was incredibly slow. When I called them, they couldn't understand English, so I had to go downstairs and use a translation app on my phone to communicate."
"A major highlight of the hotel is its airport shuttle service. The minibus operates precisely on schedule. However, on my return trip after check-out, I just missed the bus by literally half a minute and had to wait another half an hour for the next one. The driver was very professional and always proactive in helping with luggage when getting on and off. My favorite part was the hotel breakfast; apart from sushi, the selection of seafood, milk, coffee, and delicate pastries were all superb. I also enjoyed the hotel's hot springs (onsen); a daily soak really helped melt away the fatigue. The toiletries provided at the onsen were also of good quality. The bar and the paid swimming pool on the 14th floor offer fantastic beach views, making them excellent spots for sunset watching. The hotel's surroundings are convenient, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and small restaurants nearby. Naminoue Shrine is right next door, and the beach is just a 10-minute walk away. The only downside is the inconvenient transportation. Getting to any attraction requires either taking a taxi or walking over 1.5 km to catch a bus or monorail. Despite the language barrier, using a translation app to communicate with the staff always yielded helpful and satisfactory responses."
"The renovated single room is spacious and bright, with a large bed, two pillows, and a comfortable duvet. The air conditioning works well and is easy to adjust. The front desk staff were very welcoming upon check-in and did their best to accommodate my requests. Housekeeping is every three days, and towels can be changed daily. Complimentary coffee and other beverages are available in the lobby."
"The front desk staff were very polite. Our room in the annex building was clean and tidy. The only slight inconvenience was the single bedside power outlet, which can be tricky if you have many devices to charge. It's typical of an economy hotel, perfectly suitable for a simple stay.
The location is superb. It's only about a 10-minute bus ride from the airport. Kumoji Department Store, Kokusai Dori, and Naminoue Shrine are all just a 5-10 minute walk away. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and several Chinese restaurants nearby. Right opposite, there's a highly-rated Robatayaki restaurant (4.8 on Google). It's incredibly convenient for dining and shopping."

Great
XXiaozhuangtudouI highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Okinawa!!
It's close to Kenchomae, Naha Bus Terminal, and Kokusai Dori, right in the middle of everything. This means you avoid the long walk from Kokusai Dori to Kenchomae when joining tours or taking the bus, and it's convenient for taxis. There are two supermarkets less than ten meters across the street, and a Daikoku Drugstore less than 15 meters away. They offer a buffet breakfast in the morning, and the total price was just over 500.

GGuest UserReview of Japavista Casa De Boss, Okinawa
About me:
I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. Like this one in Okinawa, I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Japavista Cass De Boss for a relaxing group trip.
⸻
👍 What I liked:
• Modern Electronics: The villa was equipped with an impressive array of modern electronics, including a Dyson vacuum, air purifier, dehumidifier, Harman Kardon speaker, LG clothing purifier, SodaStream, and a coffee capsule machine, elevating the stay with high-tech convenience.
• Spacious Layout: The villa was comfortably spacious, perfectly suited for 4 people for a relaxed group stay.
• Clean Environment: The villa was generally very clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay.
• Free Parking: Convenient free parking right at the ground floor made it easy for us to come and go, especially with a rental car.
• Nice View with Balcony: The balcony offered a beautiful view, just as advertised, providing a serene spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
• Basic Cooking Ingredients: The kitchen included essentials like oil, salt, and pepper, which was a thoughtful touch for preparing simple meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings: Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.
⸻
👎 What could be improved:
• Aging and Dirty Sofa: The sofa looked worn and dirty, to the point where I hesitated to sit on it, which detracted from the overall comfort of the living area.
• Faulty Stove: The stove frequently beeped due to a lack of gas, making cooking frustrating and disrupting the kitchen experience.
• Used Dishwashing Sponge: The dishwashing sponge wasn’t brand new, which felt unhygienic. A fresh sponge should be provided for each new guest to ensure a clean start.
KKYO-SUKEI stayed here shortly after the hotel opened, and was very pleased with the cleanliness and facilities. The air conditioning is largely uncontrollable, so those who are sensitive to heat will likely find it too hot, and those who are sensitive to cold will find it too cold, but it's up to you to deal with the situation. They do have quilts available for rent, so if you're cold, you can borrow one. This time, I received a ¥1,000 meal voucher (for Doutor on the 4th floor) with each night, which I was very grateful for. It seems to get busy at 6:30 AM when the restaurant opens. It's probably best to use it the day before. Other than that, it's probably no different from other First Cabin hotels. The shower room on the men's side is on the 2nd floor, where the front desk is, so using it after 10 PM was a bit inconvenient, but I think it would have been better to have it on a different floor than having it in the same room, which can cause noise and other issues. I was very satisfied. Thank you to all the staff.
AAnonymous UserLocation: Excellent! Just 400 meters from the Naha Kūkō Station west exit. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and the amazing SAN-A mall is next door. Okinawa DFS is also directly behind the hotel.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a free coffee machine and free manga for rent.
Downside: There's no smoking area either at the hotel entrance or inside the hotel itself. The designated smoking area is located in the hotel's parking lot.

Very Good
KKiana MendozaPros: staff is so friendly and kind, it’s a great location on Kokusai-dori (near both monorail and a bus stop), and it really is kept quite clean
Cons: loud and cold. I would have left, but I knew they wouldn’t give me a refund
ZERO soundproofing! There’s all these rules telling us “no calls, keep quiet” but you can hear everyone slamming doors in the hallway and using the hair drier and washing machines at night. There was also so much noise from the street, whether it was parties at night or children screaming during the day. I was up until 3 at night because of people both inside and outside. The walls are also so thin, I could actually hear snoring from the room next to me. Why are there all these rules about sound, yet it’s still so loud?! They tell us, “please keep calls to the common area” but the common area’s window is also right on the street, so I had to take a work call with sirens screaming through the area.
The room was also freezing. It was 17-20 degrees outside most days, and even in the hallway the temperature was fine. But in my room, it felt like it was 12. I had to pay to rent extra pajamas from them because it was so cold at night. And there was constantly a breeze coming from somewhere in my room! But because there’s no individually controlled AC, there was nothing I could do. I could feel myself getting sick here

Very Good
GGuest UserSimple and clean B&B, the owner is humorous, speaks fluent English and is talkative. There are many visitors from Japan, and many return visitors as well. The key point is that the boss is kind to guests, can create an atmosphere for communication, and the guests are also friendly and happy to communicate. In the room, there is a notebook filled with memories of guests who have stayed here since 2014, which is filled with thanks from the guests and nearby dining guides. There is a free breakfast and a paid Ryukyu home cooking dinner (very well reviewed). By the way, they also have a cute cat 🐱 named Coral🪸. Private recommendation.

GGuest UserThe interior is new and clean.
The bathroom is spacious, and the rooms are also spacious.
When you open the curtains, you can see right into the apartment building across the street.
I wish they had lace curtains.
The front desk is only there at set times, so it is inconvenient if you ask me.
There are several parking spaces out front, so it's convenient if you make a reservation.
It's close to the airport, and you can just about walk to Kokusai-dori and other areas, so the location is good too.

NnbsjxThe room is a bit old, built in 1970, as a family inheritance enterprise hotel, has been the third generation.
The service is not said, and all basic requirements can be met.
But the cleaning of the room needs to be strengthened, there is quite a lot of gray, the cleaning is timely, and the details should be paid more attention to.
The location is super good! International access, parking is also subsidized, superb

GGuest UserAlthough the location is in a weathered area, it does not affect safety at all. On the contrary, it is very lively. The room is quite adequate and there is a dryer. The room design is good. You can watch TV while taking a bath. The only thing you should pay attention to is Yes, it is a self-service check-in. There are two tablet computers at the small door after entering the entrance. Please note that they do not have a counter. Don't go to the restaurant at the entrance to ask, they will not be happy.

GGuest UserMr. Kinjo is a perfect getaway for solo travelers when in Okinawa. It has facilitates all over Naha, the main city on the island and it offers everything one needs. The room in Uenokura's Mr. Kinjo was absolutely a great one, it was clean, not so big, but extremely well accommodated. The bed was soft, felt like water bed at times, but it was comfortable and it only added to the overall experience, which was definitely a good one and I would recommend this hotel to anuone.
