My wife and I traveled with friends. Our hope was to see a few sites, and enjoy the company of our small group.
The hotel is very clean, the rooms are nicely laid out and thankfully cool. We had two twin beds, enough water, and the place was quiet at night.
It's not uncommon in some places to get loud (sometimes drunken) conversations happening right outside your door. Hallways were blissfully absent this time.
Nanjing is an amazing place, and the Ibis is a good starting point. The fist six shots are from our recent trip. The following shots are from our trip in January.

The hotel looks good and the staff are very helpful eventhough that they can't speak english but they're trying their best to help you out . The rooms are very spacious but some of them are very old and need to be renovated, also the gym is closed.

There was a strong smell of sewer when I entered the room. I couldn't get rid of it even with the air conditioner and exhaust fan. I called to check out the next morning when I came back at about noon. I couldn't extend the check-out time because they said a guest was coming to stay. I wanted to ask if the guest specifically wanted to stay in my room. I called again when I went upstairs to pack my things. There were many marks on the carpet and sofa in the room. I don't know what liquid left them.

After I asked to change the room, the front desk said at first that there were only rooms near the road and the elevator. After repeated requests, they admitted that there were also rooms in the middle. They didn't consider consumers at all.
