"The location is great, close to the subway station, just an eight-minute walk away and easy to find. The room was very clean. The only downside is that the hallways are a bit confusing and you can get lost. The room provides Jing Tian bottled water, and the front desk service was excellent. I wanted to extend my stay but they were fully booked. Also, food delivery isn't allowed up to the rooms. One suggestion: the room doesn't have a toilet seat cover, which I recommend adding."

"We chose the two-bedroom family room, which was very comfortable. The staff were excellent and very attentive; they always helped with luggage when they saw us and promptly answered any questions. Breakfast is better if you go during off-peak hours, and all food items are clearly labeled if they are halal. There are two breakfast restaurants: one on the ground floor lobby and one on the 56th floor in the Asia Pacific building. The food is the same at both. Personally, I found the ground floor one more convenient for families like ours, but the 56th floor is worth visiting for the experience."

"Location and amenities were great but only one big issue I really can't swallow. For the two days that I went out and clicked on the Do Not Disturb tab, both days my room was entered and cleaned up. I called the front desk to clarify if that was routine - the cleaners entering the room even if the DND button was up - and the reply was ”如果旅客不需要打扫卫生可以跟前台说一声我们再通知保洁 (If travellers doesnt require a room makeup, they can inform the front desk and we will inform the cleaners” which I asked then what's the point of installing the DND button and make up room button separately. I am pissed because I trusted that no one was going to enter the room and technically, supposedly could be in contact with my belongings as had my luggage was unpacked and lying around. Now that they breached this trust and while nothing was missing, who can possibly assure that no one touched my things or had strangers entering the room in the process. I will avoid staying here in the future and choose another place that doesn't require me to go that extra step of pressing the DND button AND informing the front desk, which is pure ridiculous."

"The hotel is very close to the South Station, within walking distance. The room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are very new, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room, which is very convenient. The hotel even offers late-night snacks, which is incredibly thoughtful. In the morning, they also provided Peet's Coffee vouchers, which was a great experience."

"Our stay was made truly special by Alice, our butler, whose thoughtful service impressed us from start to finish! She not only proactively upgraded our room but also prepared a beautiful, fresh fruit platter for us in advance – such a warm and considerate touch. Alice patiently shared detailed and practical tips for exploring the area, from walking routes around Xuanwu Lake to the specialty snacks at Shiziqiao Food Street. Her advice saved us a lot of trouble. The room itself was high-end and fully equipped, with a Dyson hairdryer and a supremely comfortable bed. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Xuanwu Lake and the city skyline; whether it was the scenic lake and mountains by day or the sparkling city lights at night, the visual experience was absolutely stunning. The hotel's central location also made it incredibly convenient. Both the facilities and service were impeccable. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Nanjing!"

The sparkling ripples of Xuanwu Lake and the lush contours of Purple Mountain were all within sight. In the morning, the sunlight shimmered on the water; in the evening, the sunset painted the lake in warm gold. Even the city lights reflecting on the water at night were like a fairytale secret realm. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, was truly the most therapeutic part of my journey. The room facilities blended luxury with practicality. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were of high quality. The thoughtful details enhanced the viewing experience, making every snapshot a perfect, filter-free masterpiece. What was even more surprising was the impeccable professional service, perfectly embodying Shangri-La's ”hospitality from the heart.” Check-in was efficient, and they patiently explained the room facilities and local attractions. The front desk assistant manager even proactively upgraded me to a lake-view room, earning instant high marks. During my stay, any request I had was quickly addressed by customer service. Housekeeping was meticulous, the daily fruit replenishment was fresh and abundant, and they even left thoughtful cards. They even noted guest preferences to adjust accordingly. The executive lounge service further showcased the hotel's warmth. Every staff member maintained a gentle and polite demeanor, neither overly intrusive nor slow to assist. This perfectly balanced service made me feel incredibly respected and comfortable. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to the subway for easy access, and within walking distance to Xuanwu Lake, meeting both travel and dining needs. "The hotel is located within the scenic area, quite easy to find, and very close to the subway station, making transportation super convenient. The hotel's decor has a lovely Republic of China era style, which is really nice and gives it a classic, elegant feel. They offer free parking, which is a big plus and something other hotels don't usually have. The complimentary fruit was very fresh; they didn't skimp just because it was free. Overall, my stay was excellent, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends in the future!"

There are tons of great food options downstairs, all sorts of delicious choices. The gym is clean and spacious, and my room had a great view and excellent soundproofing. "This hotel is in a prime location for visiting the Nanjing Museum, with the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum to its right and the museum itself just 180 meters to its left. You'll find plenty of food and drinks right outside, with a snack street downstairs, making it incredibly convenient. It's probably the best value-for-money five-star hotel in Nanjing. While it's a bit older and still has a bathtub, the rooms are quite spacious, and the overall service is good. The lobby is grand and even features a model train."
