The most beautiful classic Chinese style hotel we ever have stayed in China 😃👌 We additionally got a free upgrade to a suite, which was simply perfect. The service is outstanding helpful and friendly. The location in the old town is definitely the best and highest level in Nanjing. - We would love to stay again here.

It’s the second time we visited the hotel. It’s location is just beautiful at the entrance of the old quarter in Nanjing. At day or night you can see wonderful streets and the hotel garden is beautiful as well.
This time the service was a bit slow and incomplete. They also mixed up the rooms a bit and the English level can be improved. The breakfast was okay and of good quality but a bit basic - for the high price it could have been better.

Such a classy hotel for a romantic getaway. The nearby Fuzimiao and Qinhuaihe are overrated as attractions but the hotel has the hidden gem of a lovely Jieziyuan courtyard. An early morning stroll to the city wall is also a pleasure.
