HHuashengziAs a newly opened hotel, the facilities are quite smart. The kids absolutely loved the AI assistant (Xiao Ai) and the robot delivery service. The self-service laundry room was a lifesaver for our family on vacation. However, during peak season, the washers and dryers were seriously in high demand; several families, including ours, were still queuing to do laundry at 2 AM! 😂
At one point, I even saw a staff member diligently folding our dried clothes from the dryer – so neatly, I couldn't have done it better myself! I was incredibly grateful for that.
The design truly stands out. While not huge, the interior design was captivating and really impressed me.
The service attitude was excellent. Even though it was peak summer holiday season and the front desk staff were incredibly busy, they remained very patient and friendly during our check-in process.
We made a last-minute decision to stay an extra night in Nanjing. When I booked, it was impulsive, so only a king room was available. I'd seen reviews about free upgrades to twin rooms, so I booked, hoping for the same luck. Unfortunately, a twin room was available when we checked in, but it required an extra 100 RMB. The next pleasant surprise came the following morning. When I inquired about paying for an adult and child breakfast, the front desk attendant, being very understanding, said, 'How much can such a small child eat so early? No need to pay for the little one.' This thoughtful gesture saved me some money.
Location: It's a bit of a walk from the subway station. Given that we average over 10,000 steps daily when exploring Nanjing, anything over 300 meters from the metro gives us pause, and over 500 meters feels a bit too far for comfort. However, since we mostly relied on taxis, and the hotel is situated in a lively district, getting a cab was always quick and easy.
The breakfast selection offered enough variety. The duck blood vermicelli was tasty, and the fruit section was my absolute favorite. The bread choices, however, were a little underwhelming.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Nanjing.
