Summer Shades Hotel - ex Arkoulis

Just left after staying her for 12 nights a great hotel reasonably priced for Naoussa. Lovely pool area immaculately clean our room had lovely balcony with a great view housekeeping were great room spotlessly clean good bathroom comfy bed 15 minute walk into town they do a basket breakfast delivered to room or there are plenty of coffee shops nearby. The hotel staff are lovely we had a lovely time ❤️

We booked a superior room and really thought that they were kidding as soon as we entered the room. They do not seem to know what a boutique hotel is. The bathroom was very old and smelled like hell. It was disgusting. Many things in the room looked awkward. The toilet paper was half used, the shower gel too, and there was no courtesy water in the minibar; instead, there were dead insects inside all over the minibar ( first time in Greece). Door did not lock well, and many things were broken. We paid around 90 euros per night only accommodation for a room that was almost a roadside hotel room. As soon as we arrived, we started searching for another hotel because staying there was not even an option. When we left, our stay in Naoussa completely changed and was perfect. The hotel is far from the center and there is no sidewalk to reach the hotel. Everyone is forced to walk on the road very close to the cars.Honestly, avoid this hotel. To us, it was a nightmare in our 15 day vacation in Greece, the only bad experience we had in our vacation. This hotel does not represent Naoussa; does not represent greek hospitality.

Overall this hotel was a good choice for our stay in Paros. The rooms were clean and the pool was very nice. The only problem we encountered was the wifi not working most of the time, even after we spoke to the people at the front desk and they said they checked with their IT. It’s also worth mentioning that to get to the part of Naoussa that has some action, it’s a 10 minute walk but pretty steeply uphill on the way back. Other than that, it was great, the staff was very friendly.

Great value for money. Lovely swimming pool and the staff are wonderful. We had room 121 straight onto the swimming pool. Perfect. Ignore any negative reviews. There’s nothing negative about this hotel. Some one mentioned about key card for electricity for the room. What hotel doesn’t these days. Completely stupid to leave your ac on all day while the room is empty. Some folk just need to moan about nothing. Paros is nice. Definately designed for tourism. If your looking for real Greece. This isn’t the place. Harbour restaraunt prices are crazy. We found two little places where the locals eat.not far from the hotel. Half the price and authentic Greek food. Nothing historical to speak of here. Perfect for chilling out and topping up the tan.

The pool is absolutely amazing! Super clean without too much of chloride, nice an refreshing. Loved the sun shining on the the patio in the afternoon. Rooms are convenient and exactly what you expect for the price. Location is great, about a 10min walk from Naoussa center and great after dinner or getting into the vibe for a night out - for lazy guests this might be a disadvantage. And yes if you want to go around the island it is logic that you need a car like everywhere else :) The wifi worked perfectly for my working purposes. Breakfast could be better, after the first morning there we went to other places. The 56 isles brewery is about a 15min walk.

Booked late so limited choice. Location is okay (short walk to Naousa) but you need a car to explore the island properly. Rooms are very basic but beds were comfortable. A few minor inconveniences - no iron available at the hotel, Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, deposits required for pool towels and wine not sold by the glass at pool bar. We paid for breakfast which was appalling, even by international budget hotel standards, so ate out each morning. Friendly front of house try to paper over the cracks but the hotel requires modernisation throughout.
