We were planning on an overnight stay at this establishment, as we were transiting via Colombo. The place is disgusting. It was dirty on all fronts. Floors were filthy, so were the bedding. Rooms were smelly and in bad condition overall. Water from the taps in the bathroom, smelled like filtered sewer water. We checked out immediately as we were concerned for our health and safety. The irony is that they forced us to pay INR600 for 2 bottles of water that we consumed in the short time that we were there! It's surprising that establishments such as this exists and are not subjected to checks by the local health department.

The hotel looks tired and rooms grubby with peeling paint. Wi-Fi was reasonable. Lovely sea views from some rooms, those at the front very noisy with traffic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tea coffee and fridge in room.. bed and pillows very comfortable Serves beer in bar. Pool has a jacuzzi. Breakfast nice fresh fruit and your choice of eggs

For a supposedly 3 star hotel, the staff are not qualified or trained enough to give services or handle clients worthy of a 3 star rating. Cleanliness and hygiene needs much attention. Picture and brochures look very attractive but it is not what is shown.

Stayed one night, as l was on a tour. Room certainly was tired, needed freshening and a paint. Bed was firm but comfortable. Aircon and fan did the job. Bathroom was ok but not much hot water in the morning. I had a balcony. View was amazing. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Outdoor furniture need a update and repair. Breakfast was ok, egg station. Staff were very friendly.

Recently stayed at Beacon Beach Hotel for one night. While the location near the airport in Negombo seemed convenient, the overall service experience was unfortunately disappointing.Upon arrival, I encountered several issues. Firstly, despite the presence of tea bags in the room, a kettle was not provided. Secondly, the luggage delivery service was delayed, requiring multiple calls to the front desk.Furthermore, the room's air conditioning unit proved ineffective, leaving us uncomfortably warm despite setting the temperature to 15 degrees Celsius.Prior to check-out, I had requested a packed breakfast for my early morning flight and they assured me that it will be arranged. However, when I called the front desk at 5 AM, I was informed that no staff were available. Thankfully lifts were operational, so we retrieved our luggage from the room, handed over the keys to security guard and proceeded to the airport.The staff interactions throughout our stay were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. The level of service were below expectations, and I question the basis for its 4-star rating on Google .
