The transition hotel for the first night is very cost-effective and I am quite satisfied with it. The breakfast is not bad but not unpalatable. The service is also very good. It is recommended for temporary transition.

Not a bad hotel, when after the flight you want to take a breather and not start off right away, I mean, around the island) We got there in the off-season, there were few guests, so the rented tuk-tuk fit into the small parking lot without problems. There is an exit to the sea, although I'm not sure that it is comfortable to swim there, but the sunsets are gorgeous ;) The pool was very useful. Lovely quiet spot with nice sea view. Staff were very polite. They do day tours and round tours for reasonable rate. Food was lovely too . evening can enjoy nice sun set.pool also clean.it is well maintain. Family run business and very welcoming couldn't do enough for us.

we stayed at ziegler cottage for two nights on our first visit to sri lanka . 30 minutes from airport , private clean pool and beach access at rear , tidy spacious room with balcony overlooking the sea , great staff and good breakfast , we were introduced to Mohan who organised a driver and guide for 5 days throughout central sri lanka , Sadeera was fantastic , young , trustworthy , speaking good english and assisting us in ticketing , advice and hotel choices , we would highly recommend him to anyone travelling to sri lanka

Great way to end our stay in Sri Lanka. Property away from hustle & bustle, quiet area steps to the beach. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool. The room we had on the to floor (3rd) has great views, balcony. Wonderful sunset! Room was clean. We did not seem to get hot water, luckily given the heat a cool shower was okay! Restaurant food was good, service from Staff excellent. A lovely haven in Negombo,
