Family run, very friendly folks, and the rooms are really nice, except that they don't have a mini-fridge. Everything else is available though, and the rates are really low! The location is excellent, a 3 minute to the beach! Highly recommended!

We stayed there only one night in between two long flights and we booked an AC room one week before we arrived there. When we arrived it turned out that the room was not available and the hotel did not even have our reservation. We already paid for it in advance!! The hotel employee gave us the keys to the room and it turned out that the room had just a fan. It was us that had to come back to her and remind that we booked AC room. She did not check it or ingrmored it. It was already late and we did not feel like changing the place as we were catching a flight next day. It was a mistake!! We should have just searched for another hotel. We got a room with a fan. The fan worked but it did not give any wind. They just celaned the room with a strong detergent that gave a terrible smell. We ended up with the doors open not to suffocate. The room was on the ground floor so we had to keep our bag with us in the bed - it did not feel safe there. Anyway that was not necessary as I did not sleep at all. Due to all the noise outside (barking dogs and motorcycles, which is for sure possible to survive when the door and window is closed) ) it was impossible to sleep. So what was supposed to be a good night sleep place turned out to be a long night in a hot room without a single minute of sleep. The employee did not really seem to be too concerned about the situation. She did offer that they will pay back the difference between the AC and non AC. We were suprised that this place had such good reviews on the TripAdvisor. We would not recommed it.!!!

The rooms are very clean, tidy and spacious. The location of the property is good too, close to all the amenities, and not far away from Bandaranayke airport. There's also a very nice terrace for relax and sunbathing, if you don't feel like going to the beach (that's not the really the best in Sri Lanka). Britta and Roshan were very kind and helpful, and overall we're happy to have stayed at this guesthouse. The heat of the standard rooms with fan is simply unbearable. Spend just a few quid more, and make sure you choose a room with AC, otherwise you won't be able to sleep till 4 or 5AM, I swear to god. The second night I went to sleep on the floor to get some relief. A tuk tuk to?from the airport will cost you about 700-800rupees.

Невероятно приятное место, хозяйка очень гостеприимна и замечательна! По утрам вас ждет вкусный завтрак, время вы можете обсудить с персоналом заранее. Очень чисто! Что для чиповых отелей Шри-Ланки целое достижение! Не пахнет! Мне очень понравилось! Всем советую, если у вас небольшой бюджет и хочется жить в приятном месте.

Chambre avec terrasse dans une rue calme. A 2 pas de la plage et proche des commerces et restaurant (pour le marché aux poissons, il faut prendre le tuk tuk). La gérante est très sympa et le petit déjeuner excellent.

Leuk Questhousen, 1ste verdieping is net nieuw. Wij sliepen op de t****e verdieping, zeer schone en ruime kamers! Lekker ontbijt ook wat bij je kamer wordt afgeleverd op het afgesproken tijdstip. Het Questhouse ligt niet gelijk aan de main street, wij vonden dit niet erg. Het is maximaal twee minuten lopen van de main street naar het Questhouse,

Waren gleich nach der Ankunft hier, Check-in auch mitten in der Nacht möglich. Einige Gehminuten zum Strand, in Seitenstrasse, Frühstück gut (Toast, Ei, Tee, Fruchtsaft), Zimmer sehr sauber, hilfsbereites Personal.

Bon accueil et belle rencontre ! Friends guest house n usurpe pas son appellation. Qualité prix au top: Chambre spacieuse, douche a l italienne, tout est neuf et confortable. Pour notre 1ere adresse en debarquant au sri Lanka, c était parfait. A proximité de la plage et de la principale rue commerçante, l accueil de Britta, suédoise tombée en amour du pays, est chaleureux et ses ressources sur place pour vous trouver un devil chicken savoureux ....ou un chauffeur sont surprenantes. à recommander absolument. Nous y avons rencontré notre charmant chauffeur Prriti avec qui nous avons fait un bon tour du sri lanka. la qualité de l hébergement est au Rdv ; l humanité et l attention sont enthousiastes. Cette guesthouse est l'exemple parfait qu'une jolie chambre ne fait pas tout ! A notre arrivée, il a fallut 20 minutes de négociations pour obtenir enfin la chambre réservée. Nous avions choisi une chambre à l'étage avec climatisation et balcon (env. 25$) or elle nous donne une chambre au rez sans clim en nous disant que le prix que nous avons payé correspond à cette chambre là, que si nous voulons la clim il faut payer 10$ de plus la nuit, ce que nous refusons. Finalement on lâchera 2000 Rs de plus pour obtenir la chambre réservée et déjà payée! En 4 jours pas de service de chambre (on l'a pourtant demandé au milieu de notre séjour mais rien a été fait). On a plus l'impression que le personnel est payé pour arrêter les clim plutôt que pour servir les clients. Nous avions la chambre 1, avec porte vitrée, qui bénéficie du soleil de l'après-midi...quand il fait 35* je vous laisse imaginer la fournaise à l'intérieur de la chambre et la climatisation n'est absolument pas efficace. En résumé jolie chambre mais pour le reste nous avons été très déçus!
