The front desk clerk basically refused to help me and told me I had to book my room online and kept emphasizing the rate as though he thought I couldn’t afford to pay. My phone died. So I couldn’t book online. He was kind enough to plug up my phone but then emphasized that my phone would have to stay with him and I couldn’t take his charger with me, which I never asked. Once my phone turned back on, he said that he could book my stay since there weren’t any more customers checking in. Then he started back explaining the rate before and after taxes and the deposit. He also looked surprised when the transaction went through. I would’ve gone to another hotel, but since my phone was dead, I couldn’t find or navigate to another property. Aside from him, the rest of my stay was enjoyable until bedtime. The walls were made a cracking noise, and I could hear every move the room next to mine made. I’m a light sleeper. So, that kept me up most of the night. With all that being said, I do recommend experiencing the hotel and checking out the different exhibits and features it has. The vodka chicken penne from Vinny’s was also very delicious!

1. I attempted to self check-in using the pad at the counter around 10:40 p.m. I was instructed that my room was not available, even though I had booked it back in November and check-in time is at 4:00 p.m. I then had to wait in line for more than 15 minutes to get assistance, as only 1 person was working (even though two others were standing and talking behind the counter; neither of them were helping guests). 2. Around 8:30 a.m. Housekeeping woke me up by knocking, declaring "Housekeeping" and entering the room. It was quite distressing to be woken up in this manner so early in the morning. 3. The common areas appear unclean--the red carpets are soiled and the floor in the lobby area is scuffed and dirty. The tables in the food court were dirty at 7:00 a.m., even though few people were there. 4. Overall the room was nice, although there was a long hair on the toilet tank when we entered and we're both bald--so it wasn't ours. 5. The location is excellent if you're flying in/out of JFK, However, the price for 1 night was more than $400 after taxes/fees.

My son is a plane spotter and as part of our trip over the pond we incorporated a 2 night stay to indulge him in his hobby. The hotel is certainly a unique design and there are aspects of our stay that I haven't experienced before..the lack of basic amenities in the room. Unable to unpack our luggage because there is no storage space or drawers, never seen that before. No facility to make tea or coffee, bottle of water. The price of the room was very expensive so i don't think thats acceptable. The check in at the reception was different also..no welcome or anything, we handed over our passports and the fella didn't speak once apart from handing us our key card and telling us our room number. Very bizzare😃. The food in the Paris Cafe was decent and the cocktails in the air craft was a great touch. It's a hotel that lacks a human touch, there's no warmth about the staff and we didn't feel like valued customers, we weren't even welcomed on our arrival, or at check in. Its obviously a concept that the hotel have worked on and perfected ( no being friendly or creating a good first impression) which is fair enough, it's their hotel. I have given our stay 4 out of 5 stars on my review because the runway view from our room was amazing, thats the reason we chose the hotel so it hit the mark on that score. As I said, the rest of the stay was 'different'🤣

It was really expensive for what you get. Amenities are poor, the staff was ok - not great. Beers were $14. I won’t go back - not worth it. We had several pieces of luggage and there was no bellmen and no place to store excess luggage. The price for the hotel was really expensive for what you got.

I had a confirmed reservation for a quick overnight at JFK - getting in at 11PM, flight out at 7AM. Walked to hotel after arriving at JFK and was told there were no rooms available. No cancellation emails, no notification, no opportunity to make other plans. The phrase "this is just unfortunate" was used a lot. No remedy offered other than being offered the opportunity to sit in the lobby. It is rare to have the opportunity to book a hotel room for this much money and be told that the hotel is sold out. The staff was unhelpful and manager was abrupt and kept talking over me. I will never stay here again.

Great hotel if you have a long layover at JFK. Kind of a working museum too with old cars inside and outside, hotel was trying to show life of airline life in the 1960's. Pretty cool concept.

Our stay at the TWA hotel was pleasant but did not meet our expectations. The rooms were small, with no amenities. For example, there was no coffee maker nor mini bar. For as much as this hotel charges for the rooms I would expect the same level of amenities that other hotels provide at that price point. The Connie bar was not available for both nights of our stay. The food was average at best, and overpriced.

helpful stuff, but poor value for what are you getting or what they provide for you as a customer, great location but you can get a better value where they can free breakfast. laundry room and for those like myself where I spent whole bunch of days there, $100 Per Day for a deposit is a little too much in comparison what traditionally others will charged a flat rate of maybe $150 or $200 in doesn't matter if you staying 4 or 5 days or more...

There was no way to get air into room, and it smelled bad when I checked in. I could never stay there again. Stuffy and the windows don’t open. Noisy, because the room was right next to the airport road. Fan in bathroom doesn’t do anything.
