My son is a plane spotter and as part of our trip over the pond we incorporated a 2 night stay to indulge him in his hobby. The hotel is certainly a unique design and there are aspects of our stay that I haven't experienced before..the lack of basic amenities in the room. Unable to unpack our luggage because there is no storage space or drawers, never seen that before. No facility to make tea or coffee, bottle of water. The price of the room was very expensive so i don't think thats acceptable. The check in at the reception was different also..no welcome or anything, we handed over our passports and the fella didn't speak once apart from handing us our key card and telling us our room number. Very bizzare😃. The food in the Paris Cafe was decent and the cocktails in the air craft was a great touch. It's a hotel that lacks a human touch, there's no warmth about the staff and we didn't feel like valued customers, we weren't even welcomed on our arrival, or at check in. Its obviously a concept that the hotel have worked on and perfected ( no being friendly or creating a good first impression) which is fair enough, it's their hotel. I have given our stay 4 out of 5 stars on my review because the runway view from our room was amazing, thats the reason we chose the hotel so it hit the mark on that score. As I said, the rest of the stay was 'different'🤣
