The hotel itself is in a great position and beautiful. The beginning part of the stay was great and the hotel offered a very warm welcome and allowed us to leave are bags and check in two hours early. The stay took a turn when after quickly realising we were given a different room to being booked (one double instead of two). When being this up with the front desk it felt like the hotel really didn’t like it if you didn’t book direct, they didn’t even check if there was a two bed room available and left me to contact the trip who I booked the room with. Trip were fantastic and after they contacted the hotel they did apologise and offered us a bottle of red wine which was appreciated.

The hotel is in the city center, good location. It is convenient to go to various attractions in New York. But the facilities are a bit old. The bed is not very comfortable, too soft. It sunk in the middle.

It was a very nice classical style hotel! Personally, I even felt a sense of luxury like the Ritz-Carlton in Osaka. The location is within walking distance from Grand Central St, and you can get to Times Square by subway or taxi. The area around the hotel is very calm, similar to Nihonbashi and Kyobashi in Japan, and there are no shops like DELI or $1 Pizza. I think it's a location for adults. Room facilities such as coffee maker and hair dryer are perfect, but refrigerator and mineral water are not installed. Regarding the location, I think that the convenience and inconvenience will change depending on the purpose of stay, so I can not say anything, but the total evaluation is very high and it is a good hotel!

In Chelsea, next to the New York headquarters of Google and other companies, there are many luxury stores, rolex, lv, of course, I don’t think anyone will go to New York to buy these; there are also a lot of food, and the starting point of the highline is nearby. As a designer hotel, New York is invincible in the price range of 2,500 a night. My friend said that it would cost 4,000-5,000 in peak season?

The hotel was amazing the location was also good. The only thing was I there was no room service with a 22month old rooms service is always a good shout. We required milk for the baby and the receptionist said we don’t do this service. The lifts were very tight and of course busy so with a stroller it was always a hit & miss when you can get into the lift. The cleaniness and staff were very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors and will stay here again.
