Harrington Guest House

Warmly greeted and interest shown in us by Jackie. Absolutely clean room with all facilities for a 3 day stay. Very comfy bed and we had 3 lovely nights sleep. Complimentary drinks and a fridge in the room, very useful to keep drinks cool as it was hot outside! Lounge area with pool table, lots of books and sofas to chill out which is a great alternative to sitting in your room in the evening. Parking at the front (limited) but public car park at the side. Great location for Newquay. Guest house not B&B but no problem as many breakfast options close by. The price is great and we would recommend this guest house.

Lovely clean place ,our room was beautifully decorated, we stayed In a triple room the beds where define so comfortable and pillows excellent quality. The shower was lovely and warm better than one at 🏡.. there was a fridge available which was great touch for snacks and juice ,Jackie the owner refreshed towels, tea coffee, milk everyday nothing was to much trouble for her .throughly enjoyed our stay and sad to leave now on way back to the north ,but we will definitely be back again one day soon ..this guest house is close to everything you need and 5 minutes from the most beautiful beaches ,thankyou jackie for a lovely stay ❤️

Sadden to leave this review as the owners are lovely and helpful, good location for getting about and short walks to the beaches and shops. The room was very warm and we had no choice to leave the window open. There is a free standing air on unit but it was so loud and on a timer. I could hear the other guests aircon units too. We are good sleepers but the noise from drunk people walking past till gone 4am just kept waking us up and we had to keep the window open. I will be taking ear plugs on any further travel incase i end up in this situation again. They stopped doing breakfast with covid and haven’t started again but places you can walk to for something. It was a small room but clean and take a few hangers if there for a few days as only 4. Towels provided and changed if needed. If it wasn’t for 3 nights of hardly any sleep I would have rated it higher and I know the owners can’t help outside noise but maybe some new cooling units would help. We didn’t pay a lot really for the 3 days but as we know Newquay well and this was opposite the police it would have been quieter but people just using the road as a cut through.

It was our first time staying here… and we’ve already booked again for next year. Jackie & her team were amazing. Rooms were cleaned daily, there are 3 parking spaces at the front but Jackie provided us with a private garage (which worked out much better for us!). Breakfast was fantastic, lots of option from full English, pancakes, beans on toast and all the cereals too. There was an incident with another guest staying at the time and Jackie handled it very efficiently and professionally. I could not recommend this place enough. We can’t wait to come back! See you next year!

Very lovely welcome by Jackie. Guest house was clean, tidy and had very good Covid measures. Breakfast was lovely, full English, cereals and toast with fruit and yogurts available as well. Lots of handy advice about where to go. Stayed for a week and enjoyed every second. It is close to the coast, just a short walk up the road, to everything you need. Jackie has thought of everything. Every room has a fridge, so you can make lunches to take with you.

Warm welcome from Jackie. Our room was great, we had a large double bed and also separate kitchen, lounge and dining area. The bathroom had a huge shower with plenty of towels. The breakfast was lovely, fruit, yogurt, cereal, plus many hot choices, eggs on toast, fried breakfast etc. Jackie was very helpful and suggested places to go. We also enjoyed the pool table every evening, a good addition. Would highly recommend.
