New Century Resort Hotels in Ningbo

Nice resort for families with lots of activities for the little ones. Highlight was the service and all staff were friendly especially Mona who also spoke English well and shared her wechat and checked with us everyday to ensure our stay was pleasant. Bon fire and fireworks for Chinese new year were an added bonus. Mona also helped us book a BBQ tent which was a nice experience by the lake. The play area is large and could use a facelift as some areas seem dated. Buffet breakfast was nice with the usual fare and a nice touch to give the kids a small gift when they clean their plates. Although it’s winter, the temperature was quite warm and the room AC could only be used as a heater which made the room too warm so we turned off the AC and left the windows open. Car parking was mostly full during the holidays but we managed to get a slot to charge the electric car. Overall a pleasant stay.

After all, it is a national hotel. It is old but comfortable. The hardware and software are very good, and the management and service are full of ”class flavor”. I feel safe to stay, eat and have fun. Especially the hotel breakfast is very satisfactory, with rich varieties and full of characteristics. Although I really want to try them all, the burning goose, seasonal black rice, and pine flower glutinous rice cakes are so delicious that I can hardly put them in the pancake! I love this pancake so much! Next time I will stay for two more days to give my stomach more opportunities to try. This kind of ”holographic stomach investment” vacation is most suitable for me.

The hotel is located on the mountain with a good environment. There is a private bath in the garden. The water comes out quickly, is very hot and very comfortable. The only flaw is that the bottom of the bathtub is yellow. Although the hotel gave an explanation, it is still unacceptable. We changed rooms with the coordination of Ctrip. The bathtub in the back room was very clean and we were very satisfied.
