North Warwickshire District Hotels with Bars

We just spent a few days at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel in Coventry England. Michele and I were absolutely delighted and impressed with the level of hospitality and customer service that I felt compelled to write about our experience . From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay , we were provided with the most amazing service and had a wonderful experience with the beverage manager, Franklin, our waitress, Gowri, and our beverage controller, Aslam. Booked for one night as visiting friends in the area. Read the reviews after we'd booked and very nearly didn't go, but as it was by far the cheapest option locally we thought stuff it and off we went. The bar was very busy when we arrived at 6pm, a friendly local took us to the check in desk. The lady that checked us in was lovely. The doormen were so friendly. Our room was in the annexe and was perfectly acceptable for one night. Clean, warm and the two single beds were comfy. Heating was on when we arrived, big telly with Netflix etc, kettle with lots of tea, coffee. Yes the room is small and a bit tired looking but as long as clean and warm who cares? At £53 quid we have no complaints. We headed back to our room at 11pm expecting the worst after reading all the complaints of noise. We had ear plugs ready.. No need! Yes we could hear hear the music but only faintly and we couldn't hear the people outside at all. This was a Saturday night. Maybe we were just lucky or it's worse in the rooms above the pub but we had no issues at all. The music ended at midnight then silence. The bottle bins were emptied at 7.30 Sunday morning but that lasted 5 minutes. Nice cuppa then off home. So no complaints from us. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere. If you want a cheap, warm room for the night with a comfy bed I think you'll be happy enough :-)
