I stayed at this hot spring hotel before going on the Oze trekking tour. The fact that there is a shuttle bus from Ueno to Jomo-Kogen Station at 2pm when taking the Shinkansen is a big plus (lol). I had to rush in the morning to get to Oze, but breakfast was scheduled for 7:30am. The service of moving it up to 7am was fantastic. I'd definitely like to use it again next time.

We hadn't made a reservation for the parking lot in advance, but they went out of their way to accommodate us, especially since we had children and had to leave early the next day. They also upgraded our room, and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were so helpful, and even though we had a lot of heavy luggage, they went back and forth to carry it for us, gave our children some snacks, and were extremely considerate. I'd like to use them again if I'm in the area!
