Fabulous hotel on the beach, with great service. Everyone is welcoming and wants to see you happy and enjoying yourself! More of an adult vacation spot as nothing in this location for children. It is just coming into the rainy season - so relaxing with a good book today or you can go for a spa treatment! Perfect spot to relax after 5 days on the Serengeti!

Beautiful hotel in fantastic location. Recommend the cottage if you can get it for the amount of space and privacy you have. It directly overlooks the ocean and is very special. It is a duplex room with a large deck and another balcony out from the upstairs bedroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hapsa was so sweet and a very talented massage therapist. Also touch up my beat up nails with a simple file and shine. I didn’t want the masssge to end. Heavenly!!! Got a geeen juice post massage too. Just…..WOW! Would go every day if I could. Wonderful!

I enjoyed the entire experience. The grounds, architecture, pool, beach, food, and service. Staff were attentive but sometimes the language barrier caused minor inconveniences. AC in the room worked well. Our view from Room 39 was nice.

Great end to our Tanzanian safari. The resort was a lush and green oasis located on a beautiful warm beach. The rooms have beautiful views of the ocean. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Food was great in the Sexy Fish restaurant. Our only concern was how long dinner service took. Two and a half hours from start to finish.

I just came back from a trip to Zanzibar and spent 5 nights at this hotel and would love to share my experience and thoughts. RECEPTION: I received a great service and would like to give a special thanks to Emiliana and Steven. On departure day I asked for a late checkout, which was not possible on the room we had, but we were offered a different room, which was perfect for us as my husband got sick. ACCOMMODATION: We spent 5 night in cottage number 2, which we absolutely loved! We appreciated the cleanliness of the room, truly spotless, and, considering the heat, we were grateful the AC worked perfectly. We did have some issues though: 1: on 2 different days we had to go to the reception as by lunch time the room was still not clean 2: at dinner time, the cleaning service would collect all the pillows from the furniture of the terrace, making it impossible to use it after dinner and in 2 out of 5 days, also in the morning. I personally chose this room specifically for the terrace, and was a little disappointed by the fact I basically couldn't use it half of the time. BREAKFAST: Nothing to say about the location, really nice and scenic, right on the beach, but there's really anything else positive about it. In general, buffet is nothing special and waiting time is way too pole pole. 1: most of the days, it was really windy, do you really need to also turn on all the ceiling fans? 2: I ordered French Toast (on their menu) twice. Once I got it without coconut, and once without syrup...really??? When I asked the waiter, I was told in both occasion the missing ingredient was finished. Again: really??? 3: Once I order Pancake, what I received was more like a French crepe, but totally raw 4: I also tried their "Health and Fabulous", basically an English muffin with avocado and poached eggs. I just asked if they could add some bacon to it. The first time I received a different place, which included what I believe was an Hollandaise sauce (which I really don't like - and didn't ask). I asked if I could have the breakfast I ordered, and literally within 1 minute they sent me a plate which was obviously made for somebody else, which had overcooked poached eggs (sent back already, as you could see it was touched by a previous client). I confronted the waiter who confirmed that was the case. CINNAMON: We order a few time lunch while we were enjoying the pool, and the food was nice. POOL/BEACH: We loved it! Sunbeds are very comfortable, and all the area is very clean. What I find crazy thought is that at 17:30 they stop serving drinks, while the pool/beach closes at 19:00. With over 30 degrees Celsius? Their solution is for you to go to the rooftop bar, my solution (and the one of many other guests) was to buy drinks from a minimarket next door and keep enjoying the pool/beach.
