A beautiful costal walk to the 26 by the sea, excellent view from the front terrace overlooking the sea , plenty to look at and a beautiful sunset. Hotel was spotless, comfortable bed, room had own sun terrace, friendly helpful staff, amazing breakfast, and a bonus of fresh orange and pastries to wake up to outside your room door. Breakfast choice was amazing as so was the food.

My wife and I stayed for a day .........would have loved to have stayed for a week!! The service was 5 star, Rachel was a wonderful host and could do enough for all of the guests. Comfortable check in with a free glass of fizz is a great way to start. The room was amazing, as was the rest of the hotel lounges, and dinning areas. Lots of lovely touches and amazing personal service made this one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Beautiful weather wasn't expected in early April, but we made the most of it sitting on the terrace at the front enjoying a bottle of wine admiring the beautiful view. We ate that evening at No.17 which is their sister Hotel. Food was amazing and service and venue equally as good! Well done 26 by the Sea - 10/10 !!!!!!!

Usually go here with my partner, unfortunately he passed away last year. We would have been visiting this year so I thought I would go myself. No.26 is excellent hotel and the girls are so friendly and helpfull, it feels like I'm visiting friends and family. So very glad I went, I even stayed an extra night, I will definitely be going again.

No 26 by the sea is an exquisite, small boutique hotel.We we're made so welcome on arrival by our hostess,, given a glass of champagne, even though we turned up early!!! The hotel decor is fabulous. The bedroom was small but perfectly designed , the lighting was fabulous, the furnishings perfect. It had a stylish small garden accessed from the room. Beautiful lounge. Breakfast was superb! The breakfast room is set with an open kitchen where the chef is preparing your breakfast. It was the best l have had in a hotel. The porridge with whisky and honey sauce was anazing! The team who run this hotel are really lovely and make you so very welcome. I want to visit Oban again just to stay at Number 26!!!!!! Thankyou Number 26 by the sea.

My husband, my mom and I stopped here for one night on the way back to Edinburgh. It’s a cute little place with a lot of character. The rooms are in the smaller side but it was perfectly sufficient for an overnight. What makes this place special is the warm service from the helpful recommendations to the little pastry and juice they leave in front of your door in the mornings. Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious. Location is great too, just a 15 min or so walk from the downtown area along the sea. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent small hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The staff are informative, attentive and kind. The breakfast is cooked to order and is of the highest standard. The honesty bar epitomises all that is good about this exceptional hotel. Highly recommended.

Had two one night stays here a week apart. Facilities, rooms, staff and food were all superb. Our two dogs were equally impressed!
