Oban Bay Hotel

"Very Disappointing Stay I booked this stay after seeing it recommended on TikTok, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. It also wasn’t in the centre of town, which made getting around less convenient than expected. The mattress was so soft it felt like I was being swallowed by it, making it really uncomfortable to sleep. The room itself was extremely hot — even after turning off the radiator it was still warm, and the only way to cool it down was by opening the window. That would’ve been fine, except the noise from the spa pumps ran all night and made it difficult to rest. We must have been given an older room because it looked nothing like the pictures we saw on TikTok. Parking was valet-only and cost £25, which felt excessive. On a positive note, the room was clean, but it was also quite small and definitely in need of an update. Overall, not the relaxing experience I was hoping for."

"Our experience at Oban premier inn was very positive. The hotel is situated in the centre of town and is a few steps from the waterfront and the train station and ferry terminal. Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and well maintained. All of the staff were very attentive , professional and we felt well looked after. We paid for breakfast in the morning. The service was great. The staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant was clean and kept tidy. All of the food was regularly topped up and we had everything we needed. When we return to Oban, we will chose the premier inn 😊"
