‼️‼️The place is dangerous the meet rival box went on fire during my stay and look at the beds please stay away my kids are traumatised by what the seen in this place I’ve never in my life came across such a faulty dangerous hotel this should be closed down before someone gets killed!!!

Where to start! The lady on the reception was the best thing about this place although makes you wonder when she tells you she is leaving to work in a decent hotel chain! Room decor was very dated and the room had a smell of stale smoke! Thin walls, could here snoring from below me like they were in my bathroom and conversations in the room above! There’s no restaurant here, you need to go to the sister restaurant down the road but thankfully it’s only a short walk to the town for food! Don’t think the bar was open as never saw any staff there. Breakfast was terrible, after being told it was self serve they then decided it was a la carte! After having to write down what I wanted to order as the server spoke no English I had to wait 45 minutes for a Luke warm breakfast. I had a complaint about the room and asked if I could be moved to be told no as the management didn’t like doing that! Can say for sure it’s probably up there with the worst places I have stayed in! Pay the extra £ and stay at the premier inn or just anywhere else!

No restaurant in this hotel which was a complete surprise. At reception there is a sign saying dinner from 6:30 pm. Asked to walk 500 yds to sister hotel ? Luckily it wasn’t raining. That hotel too was under staffed and served coke in cans . Bar served only limited canned or bottled beverages at our hotel. Room was clean and cozy though. Breakfast sausages were the plastic kind that contain very little meat. Always a sign that corners are being cut.

The hotel is warm and clean and staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel as great views and the is located with walking distance of all the local attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable with coffee making facilities. There is a small bar area where we enjoyed an Oban whiskey.

Just back from a lovely weekend break in this lovely hotel which is in a fabulous position with great views over Oban Bay. Lovely and attentive staff, especially James in reception who organised an upgrade to a room with a view for us with no fuss. Great breakfast too.

The staff I met were excellent especially Junaid the Manager and Yeshwanth at reception , I extended my visit as I enjoyed the hotel so much . The view from the room was amazing over the bay , the food good , and room excellent , will return asap thank you all Cat .

Recently stayed at this establishment and it was good Room was very spacious with fantastic scenery all round with a large bay view window. Room was spotless and a very welcome hospitality tray including Tunnocks Carmel wafer biscuits , packs of Scottish fudge, shortbread and mints. Jacuzzi bath with over bath shower plenty of hot water. Plentiful breakfast of reasonable quality. No chef for lunch or evening meal but hopefully that will change shortly. Staff are all very good and welcoming. Would like to say a special thanks to James at reception as he was able to accommodate us in the same room I had booked earlier in the year and could not manage as the wife had to have an emergency operation . Thank you once again James really appreciated it and will certainly return next year. This hotel is getting back to where it was when I worked in Oban and stayed there. Well done and keep up the good work.

James at the front desk was very helpful and always friendly. Breakfast was amazing with many hot and cold choices. As we are from Canada it was nice to taste some typical Scottish eats (my husband was so excited to see Black Pudding on the menu). Pastries were delicious too. Bar service was great but we didn't,t sit in the lounge as there were lounge chairs provided outside where we sat and watched the sunset. All the staff were very attentive. Would have liked to have had the restaurant open for dinner....maybe next time.

Trip around Scotland: the TO made us spend 2 nights in this hotel: 2 dîners not in this hôtel but at 500 meters on other mgm hotel and for 2nd dîner, it took more then 2 hours to eat. Never saw this in more then 25 years of travel
