Absolutely wonderful. We had the self contained apartment attached to the main house. It is on the bottom left side of the main house and has its own separate entrance. It has a living/kitchen area with everything you need. This is where you will want to sit on the comfy couches as the view of the bay is outstanding. Then you walk through to a separate lounge with more comfy couches, a tv and even a small woodfire. Through that room is the double bedroom and en-suite bathroom. It is perfect for a couple wanting a relaxed undisturbed stay. Oban is very close by car. Kris was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything during our stay.

This has been a beautiful holiday because of this fantastic place we called home for a week. From the moment we met the lovely owner to seeing the apartment we knew we were going to enjoy our stay ,,,, the owners couldn’t be more kinder and will try to make sure you have everything you need for a relaxing time with them ,,, spotless rooms homely with views that are breathtaking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️already wanting to rebook as we pack up

This is an excellent B & B. Spacious bedroom, lounge with fire available to all, lovely garden, personal easily accessed parking area, friendly hosts, excellent breakfast. Connel is just down the road from Oban, and a delightful area. Close to so many places...Kilmarten, Glencoe, Tobermory, Loch Awe. so many great day trips!

Lovely old house tastefully furnished and decorated. Plentyof space lovely bedroom seperate bathroom and separate toilet. Beds very comfy Breakfast with quality products Very knowledgable and helpful One thing book direct as owners try to recoup cost of ad site by having to charge for breakfast at a reduced price.

My friend and I stayed in the 1x LARGE TWIN ROOM for a few nights. The host Chris was very helpful and kind. This location is as 10 minutes to Oban where we took a Tobermory, Treshnish & Staffa Tour. It was such a charming location and the breakfast was delicious. His wife made us sack lunches to take on our tour. Next time I plan to bring my husband to experience Scotland charm. I cannot wait to come back!

We unexpectedly got a flat tire right in front of Ards House during our holiday in Scotland. The owner went out of his way to help us by phoning the tow service and making sure we were comfortable while we waited. He also kindly showed us around his charming bed and breakfast and gave us some great advice on places to see in the area. His kindness and assistance made a stressful situation much easier to handle. We highly recommend Ards House for its exceptional hospitality and cozy atmosphere.

Everything is great. This is a great bed and breakfast. Very clean, in a great location and the hosts are amazing. We utilised a lot of the suggestions the host made and are very thankful. One suggestion on how to find Highland Cows gave us an amazing experience with these friendly beasts in the middle of a field. Unforgettable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

We stayed at this lovely, traditional guest house for 5 nights in May ‘24. The location is ideal for visiting Oban and the surrounding area. The breakfast was excellent and the menu catered for all tastes. View from our beautiful, sea facing room was stunning. It was very spacious and delightfully furnished, with a sofa in front of the window where I relaxed gazing at the amazing view after days spent sightseeing. Our host, Chris made us very welcome and was most helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, convenient location. Julie Woodward
