Sapphire Beach Condos

Unit 509… THE BEST. Beautiful views. Apartment is very spacious, with walk in wardrobes in every bedroom. This place is Clean and very well equipped. And of course location… it’s right on the beach. Genuinely no negatives. You’re in paradise so just enjoy yourself!

Sapphire beach Condos are really nice inside. All have views of Private Pool and Dover Beach. Dover beach is number 3 ranked in Barbados. Beautiful sand and soft waves as the beach is protected by a reef about 100 yards out.Great security on the property. Location is nice as it far enough away from Bridgetown to keep it from being crowed. Easy walk 10 minute walk to several nice restaurants and Bars in St lawrence Gap.

First the good news: the property itself is lovely! The beach is just steps away, and all the units face the ocean. The pool area is clean and inviting. Everything is well maintained, and the guests are quiet and respectful of others. There are lots of wonderful shops and restaurants in walking distance to the building. We rented Unit 211, a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo for our recent family reunion. The unit was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There are plenty of towels, and the kitchen is well-stocked. The large terrace can easily accommodate 6 adults comfortably with a dining table and nice sitting area. Now the bad news: with so much rental traffic there are bound to be things that don't work right. On arrival day there were several bulbs out, and the A/C did not work at all. The next morning we discovered the coffee machine also was broken. Luckily all items were replaced quickly. The following day the refrigerator handle broke off, and again the workers came to fix it. The ice machine never worked well, and the dishwasher required running it several times to clean one load. But we didn't want to complain further since we were enjoying everything else. Halfway through the week the housekeeping service came to clean. I think the woman cleaned a bit too hard, as later that night a cosmetic panel fell off the microwave and hit my daughter in the head. I was tired of spending my vacation calling the property manager daily and figured they would see when we checked out that this fell off. Unfortunately, Blue Sky charged me $230 to fix this broken appliance which had nothing to do with my family. I explained several times there was no way we could have broken this part, but Blue Sky refused to listen. Please use this a friendly reminder to let Blue Sky know about every single thing that may be off or broken and be careful they won't withhold your security deposit for over one month like they did with me. I am a travel advisor by trade and own a profitable travel business. I have stayed in hundreds of properties and never experienced such callous service toward a client who did nothing wrong.
