Treebo Skydale Inn & Suites with Mountain View

Good staff but need infra improvement. Difficult to book the second time. Not worth the spend overall.

am writing to express my deep disappointment and regret regarding our recent stay at Treebo Skydale Inn & Suites With Mountain View, Ooty. Issue #1: Room Condition at Check-In We arrived at the hotel around and completed the check-in process, and were given our room. However, we were shocked to find multiple water leakages in the room. Upon reporting this to the reception, the manager initially tried to convince us to stay. Eventually, he requested us to move to a Standard Room on the ground floor, assuring us that we would be shifted to the Premium Room the next day. Although we had paid for a premium category, we accepted this inconvenience in good faith. Issue #2: Unhygienic Kettle in Premium Room As promised, our luggage was shifted to Room no 408 (Premium category) while we were out sightseeing. We returned around 7 PM, and upon entering the room, we noticed that the kettle contained orange-colored liquid and dust. When we reported this to the manager, he dismissively claimed the kettle had been cleaned and refused to inspect it in person, stating he was busy. When I mentioned reporting this to Treebo Customer Care, he rudely responded, “Go ahead.” I did report the matter to Treebo, but have not received any response to date. Issue #3: TV Not Working & Misleading Information On the same night, we attempted to watch TV, but it was not working. Upon contacting the manager, he claimed that none of the TVs were working due to a cable issue. However, we could hear a TV playing in the neighboring Room 407 and confirmed with the guests that their TV was working fine. When we brought this up, the manager reluctantly sent someone to fix it — without a remote. It took them nearly 45 minutes using manual TV buttons, further delaying our dinner. Issue #4: Forced Check-Out On the morning, despite no request from our side, the manager insisted that we check out immediately and settle the remaining balance. After a 10–15 minute argument, we were left with no choice but to leave. Although several rooms appeared vacant, he falsely claimed the property was fully booked. We left the hotel utterly disappointed, and my children were visibly upset by the entire experience — something we have never encountered on any of our previous trips. Issue #5: Unhygienic restaurant and service: The given breakfast food and quality is not up to standard according to the room price and also they touch the cat and serve the food without washing the hand,. Unfortunately, the attitude and conduct of the manager at Skydale Inn completely ruined our trip experience.

Great people Excellent service. Very warmly welcomed by the reception and others. Spacious rooms with modern bathrooms. Neat and clean bed linens. 24 hours power supply and Hot water. Wifi available. Kettle with tea/coffee supplies Extra blanket and pillows provided. Garden area was available for spending time. Scenic place. Car parking available. I enjoyed my stay with family Definitely my hotel for next stay

Hotel is near Lake. Mountain View, nice cozy beds. Breakfast was delight. Kids play area is enjoyable. Gym, Table tennis, Carrom we enjoyed. Pool table stick were not available at that time but Property is really a good option for stay.

A pathetic experience. We booked approximately 25days before arrival and we a got a call from the Treebo team just one day before the check in date saying that we are cancelling the booking. Nobody gave us the reason of cancellation and our booking was shifter to treebo windstor heights. That is another bad experience. We had booked 2 rooms and were travelling with 2 under 5 aged kids and an elderly couple.We were left in soup and had no choice but to stay in a very pathetic condition.Unreliable experience. Treebo is a bad option to choose. Do not go for it.

Had a wonderful stay with family. Staff are very polite and friendly. They understands the requirement of guests. Happy with the service. Hop to visit again soon. I would request if the parking space can be increased.
