Just a short drive from Charleston or Columbia is a relaxing little cottage just waiting for you. Looking for a mini vacation but don’t want to drive for hours? Get out of the traffic of I-95 and enjoy the slow pace as well, or if you are coming in for a family reunion, wedding or any other reason, we’ve got just what you need. Our Little Red Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and is fully stocked with all your needs. Plush bedding, full size kitchen and lots of little extras to make you want to stay even longer. Watch the deer cross the horse pasture daily from the kitchen window or sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and enjoy it all. The front yard is fully fenced and the cottage is pet friendly, so you are welcome to bring your fur babies with you. It's a great place for the dogs to stretch their legs and play safely while traveling. We have over 160 acres of planted pines and trails, so just let us know if you want to get out and walk the trails (weather permitting). Cottage is amazing—charming, well kept, clean. An abundance of amenities provided. Kay and Fred were so kind and we loved staying the week. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway
This was the cutest place my husband and I have stayed and it being pet friendly was perfect. It was super clean upon arrival and was just as it was listed. It was great waking up to watch the horses and deer each morning in the paddock. The fenced yard was just the perfect size for my small pups.

Clean, calm and comfortable
We absolutely loved our stay at Kay’s property! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was especially perfect for our fur babies, with the fully gated yard giving them a safe space to explore and play.One of my favorite parts of the day was enjoying my morning coffee while watching Kay’s beautiful horses grazing in the distance — such a peaceful and picturesque setting. Kay was also a fantastic host: always friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had.Truly, our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Our first vrbo experience
We are first time vrbo users from retford united kingdom. We are travelling through the states and south carolina was a stop off. We discovered thia adorable place before hand.The place was very clean and tidy. Commination with the host was brilliant and answered our questions. The little welcome snacks and drinks and information pack was very useful.It felt like home from home.Will stay again next time we visit south carolina

A very cute cottage with great NEIGHbors! Almost everything you could need is provided. A truly relaxing stay in the country that is about an hour from Charleston or Hilton Head Island.

Absolutely wonderful! We stayed overnight after a concert in Charleston with our high school age daughter and her friend. They couldn’t get over how “cute and aesthetic” the cottage was! We all loved the pet and family friendly property, the horses outside, and the many small touches inside that made us feel right at home! We will definitely look at staying here again!
