It's far away from the city. I booked a family room. The sofa bed couldn't be turned on, and the phone didn't work. I had to go downstairs to find a waiter. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, walking distance to the town hall, church, palace, castle, and new opera house. There is a paid underground parking space in the opposite city square. The shutter door is always closed. The car is opened in front of the door. The parking card can be brushed to the hotel front desk for a discount of 20% [%]. The superior room is on the top floor of the hotel, the roof is slanted, the room is large, there is a reception area, and there is a refrigerator.

This hotel is well located to explore Oslo. The breakfast buffet is large, varied and excellent. The staff are friendly, but could be better informed to help guests with their questions. Rooms are relatively spacious with a. funky modern decor but aren’t cleaned unless guests request it. The included dinner can be hit or miss in terms of quality, quantity and service. Overall, a good, not a great, choice.

The location was absolutely fantastic, being located right across Oslo Central Station. This made it really convenient bringing our heavy luggage to the room and there was also no stairs involved. The room had all the basic necessities, but I was sorely missing room slippers to keep your feet warm in the cold. While there was a coffee machine, there was no kettle provided, if you want to make a cup of tea instead. However, the one thing that truly sets this hotel apart is the breakfast, which is stellar compared to other hotel breakfasts you might get in Europe.

Amazing hotel right by the main station, very modern, comfortable and a great buffet breakfast in a cute restaurant next door. Hotel bar is a nice place to have a drink after a long day exploring. Shuffleboard is a bonus!

Amazing location just 5 minutes or less from the main train station. Amenities are lovely especially as a solo traveller. They’ve got a restaurant in the lobby and drinks on top floor which is very convenient if you don’t like going out anymore

Great location: right in the city centre, very close to central station. Breakfast is perfect: big variety of food. Standard rooms are small for two people( There is also no safety box or wardrobe. Everything else is good. Highly recommend for stay.

Location wise, it is 10mins by bus from the central train station. However, the hotel is located in a rather rough neighborhood (you will see the area around is a little bit dirtier, with more graffiti …). Otherwise, the staff was nice and friendly. The room is nice and spacious.

Comfort hotel grand central is right in the city centre and very convenient to the Oslo S train station and great restaurants all around. The breakfast is alright. I will stay here again! Recommended.
