Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Oslo

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Oslo ★★★★

📍 Sonja Henies plass 3, Grunerlokka, Oslo

"This hotel is highly unprofessional. The service is poor, and there's a clear discrimination against Asian guests. They refuse to apologize even when they're in the wrong. The surrounding area also feels unsafe. The room transfer service was very unprofessional, and you need a key to use the lobby restroom, which they are reluctant to provide to guests who need it. Please think twice before booking this hotel."

Thon Hotel Opera

Thon Hotel Opera ★★★★

📍 Dronning Eufemias gate 4, Sentrum, Oslo

"Excellent location, just walk out from Oslo station and you can see the hotel and have access to the hotel’s level 2 directly. Easy access to airport. Arrived late at night. Check in process was efficient. Staff was polite and offered me a free bottled mineral water which was a kind gesture as the waters/drinks in mini fridge are chargeable. Small compact room but sufficient. Kettle and steam iron available in the room which are very useful. The room is too cold for me though, I think it is around 20-21degC, I tried to adjust temperature to be warmer to 24degC but it was not possible. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly especially the staff at restaurant reception. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, particularly I like the fresh juice/smoothies. Overall a comfortable stay and recommended."

Anker Hotel
8.4 (316 reviews)

Anker Hotel ★★★

📍 Storgata 55, Grunerlokka, Oslo

"We recently stayed at the Anker Hotel for a family vacation and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring. However, there were several areas that fell short of our expectations for a comfortable family stay: Despite traveling as a family, we were placed in two separate rooms on entirely different floors, which made coordinating things a bit challenging. We were disappointed to find no complimentary water, coffee, or tea provided in the room, a standard touch that would have added much-appreciated comfort after a day out. The washrooms were uncomfortably small, and the provided toiletries were very limited. While the central location is a strong selling point, the overall lack of in-room amenities and disjointed room placement left us a bit disappointed. With a few adjustments, this could easily be a much more welcoming spot for families."

📍 Sommerrogata 1, Frogner, Oslo

"The hotel is so beautiful. Really so beautiful. The architecture, furniture and lighting design are all exquisite. Art deco style of 1931 Smart elevator control and high-tech lighting control of 2024 The guy at the door is too handsome. The hotel service is very good The best hotel in Oslo, very cost-effective, very worth staying The tak Japanese restaurant upstairs overlooks the whole city. The sushi, sashimi and cocktails taste very good Be sure to order breakfast included. Eat in Figure 1 The hotel is near the wealthy area and there are many restaurant options"

First Hotel Millennium ★★★
"Pretty good, the service was excellent. The room was a little old but I don't think it affected my stay; I slept really well. I stayed here for 3 days and I think it's quite good value for money, especially for an international trip. The art museum is only a ten-minute walk away, and it's also quite close to the station."

"Pleasant stay, though they're going through a (temporary) renovation so this impacted us, we had to ask for a room change as we were initially provided with one with unpleasant smell. Apart from this, staff was helpful and breakfast was very good for european standards."

Anker Hotel ★★★
"The location is not that far from train and bus station, so you can walk about 17 minutes, if you don't have too big luggage. Otherwise, there are seversl tram lines that can take you there in just a two stops, while the stop is just in-front of the hotel. We only stay overnight, having a small breakfast box from the reception at 5 AM. The third bad was not ready, but the reception boy came in 10 mimutes and prepared it for us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was not for free, as usually in Norwegian hotels. Thrre was no coffee in the room, as well."

"Typical Nordic design, indirect and beautiful, transportation is OK, not far from the train station. The only downside is that the gym charges a fee. Breakfast is OK. The front desk brother is friendly. I don't know how to turn on the room heating."

"The whole hotel is very beautiful, it has been renovated to give it a retro feel, and it is very clean. However, the room is very small. Two people can only sit on the bed and the chair at the end of the room. It will be very crowded, and the suitcase cannot be opened if it is large."
