"At first, seeing the name made me a bit nervous, thinking it was a small guesthouse. But it's actually a really big hotel, and there's a supermarket right next door downstairs. The only downside is that you have to pay to store your luggage."

"Nice room and best location. Only 5 minutes walk to the central station. The staff is really nice and helpful. The only negative point - there is a construction site next to the hotel. It's really noisy early in the morning so we have to wake up early."

"The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights. Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap. As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window. What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train."

"Location-wise, the cathedral is visible just to the right as you exit, about a 4-minute walk away. To the left, the Royal Palace is also about a 4-minute walk. Cleanliness: Also good. The room was a bit small, but the floor-to-ceiling window was nice. Didn't book breakfast, so nothing to report there."

"There is a tram station in front of the hotel and its convenient to get to everywhere in the city. Get to see sunrise from our bed which is out of our expectation! Live it! Would love to stay again if we are visiting again!"

"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. Breakfast was also very good, quite generous for European standards. You might want to try the liquid fish oil, but be warned, it's a bit fishy – I decided not to buy it after tasting. The hotel is super close to the train station, just a short walk away. I also appreciated the secure elevator system; you need to swipe your card on the ground floor before you can select your floor. They even upgraded my room to one with a sea view! I'm extremely satisfied."

"The location is convenient, with an Asian supermarket downstairs, which is great for anyone with an Asian palate looking to buy groceries. The sink drainage was a bit slow, and the kettle showed some signs of use, but everything else was pretty good. Overall, it offers good value for money."
