The location of the house is perfect for tours to and around Lübeck. It is a little house in the years. But just that makes the charm of this accommodation. The furniture must not always be of the most noble and finest. But it should be clean. In any case, some should be done in the area of cleanness. It is not as in many reviews to read, a totally dirty house. This is absolutely not true. The cleaning crew I experienced in the house does not seem to be particularly trained, the equipment (e.g. cleaning car) misses any professionalism. My tip: with house cleaning go in self-service.... It will be paid by the satisfaction of guests in the long term. And all the Nörglers.... don't tell at check-out that everything was good to write the worst reviews then talk to the staff...you will be surprised....

hervorzuheben ist das Personal ! immer aufmerksam und offen für eine Frage. keine Hektik und nicht steif. Von außen ist das Haus nicht so ein Hingucker, aber innen macht es alles wett. Die weihnachtliche Deko sprach mich sehr an und die vorgegebenen Menüs über Weihnachten (bei 3 Angeboten zur Wahl im Hauptgang) abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der Blick über die Ostsee vom Zimmer aus unbeschreiblich. Ein sehr großes Schwimmbad hatte ich nicht erwartet und in den Saunen findet sich auch für Jeden die richtige Temperatur

The hotel is a luxury concrete stones with some extravagant architecture a few steps from the km-long beach. It offers everything a 4* hotel has incl. Sauna, pool, fitness room, etc. Parking is available in the hotel garage 19,00 Euros per day or on one of the public parking places, which are just a little cheaper but not covered. Who doesn't have fear of Möwenschiss on the car can save a little here. The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and clean. We had a room on the 6th floor with balcony and sea view – dreamy. The breakfast buffet was huge and very good, only the sweet particles were rar. In the bar and in the pizzeria you can take very good and cheap little things that are quite large for dinner with to the room. Who travels to Grömitz and wants a little luxury in addition to the beach life is well lifted here.

Wir hatten uns für ein Wochenende im Bayside eingemietet. Die Anreise ist einfach und gut beschrieben, Parkplatz kostet extra wobei ich mich gefragt habe, wo sollen die Autos stehen wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist? Wir wurden freundlich an der Rezeption begrüßt, es gab eine kurze Aufklärung wo man was findet und alles andere steht im Flyer den man mitbekommt. Unser Zimmer, seitlicher Meerblick, war sauber und entsprachen den Bilder im Netz. Aufgefallen war uns nur, dass die Schiebetür zum Balkon nicht dicht war, der Aschenbecher auf dem Balkon war nicht geleert und die Glaswand der Dusche kalkig. Im großen und ganzen aber Ok, ob der Preis gerechtfertigt ist? Eher nicht. Morgens funktionierte der Fön nicht mehr sobald er heiß wurde. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption gab es keine Ersatzgeräte. Der Techniker würde aber informiert werden und wäre in 15min da. Wir baten darum, dass der Techniker dann während unserer Frühstückszeit kommen sollte. Gourmet-Frühstücksbuffet war angesagt - im Restaurant Roof. Dieses war um 10:00 Uhr so überfüllt, dass Gäste in der benachbarten Bar am Tresen zum Frühstück saßen. Unterhalten war, aufgrund der Masse an Gästen und der Enge, schlichtweg nicht möglich. Das Frühstückspersonal war komplett überfordert oder desorientiert unterwegs. Tische wurden nicht abgewischt und/ oder erst nach Aufforderung neu eingedeckt. Der Raum mit dem ”Gourmet Buffet” war ebenfalls viel zu klein für die Masse. Es gab zu wenig Teller, zu wenig vom Aufschnitt und das Rührei war an beiden Tagen Mangelware. Sobald jemand zum Auffüllen kam konnte man sich kaum noch in dem Raum bewegen. Schräg gegenüber ist Bäcker Junge. Da gibt es wenigstens einen Filterkaffee in der Sonne dem man in Ruhe genießen kann. Nachdem wir dann am Spätnachmittag wieder im Hotel ankamen fiel uns sofort auf, dass der Room Service da war. Das lag nicht am gemachten Bett, sondern an den vergessenen Weingläsern auf dem Tisch. Der Aschenbecher war immer noch nicht geleert und im Waschbecken des Bades waren noch Reste von Zahnpasta vorhanden. Gewischt oder gesaugt wurde wohl auch nicht, da es beim Betreten des Zimmer schon unter den Schuhen knirschte. Egal, kurz umziehen und wieder raus. Nächster morgen, gleiche Sorgen. Der Fön wollte nach kürzester Zeit nicht mehr und dann klopfte es, kaum vernehmbar, an der Tür. Bevor man überhaupt reagieren konnte stand der Room Service auch schon in der Tür, den wir dann freundlichst wieder hinaus baten. Das ”Gourmet Frühstücksbuffet” hatte sich weder vom Service noch von der Qualität und Quantität wirklich verbessert. Deshalb standen wir auch 30min später zum Auschecken an der Rezeption, mit der Hoffnung, unsere Erfahrung mit der Dame zu teilen. Die, für uns, wichtigste Frage: Haben Sie Ihren Aufenthalt genossen?, kam aber nicht. (Hatten wir noch nie!) Also drängten wir Ihr förmlich unseren Unmut auf.
