The room is so big, nice and cozy. The owner is very kind and helpful. We haven’t stayed in Japanese Tatami Style before but this is so good. The location is quite far from the city center but if you have a car i would highly recommend you to book this room. But if you don’t have car you can travel by bus, the owner will send you how to come to the hotel in the chat and you can also ask everything him in chat as he response very fast.

The home is very clean n well decorated. There is a room on ground level and 2 rooms upstairs. The service manager, Richard is very polite, friendly and helpful. Lady boss, a Chinese lady is also friendly n see that everything is well taken of during check in. Thank you

I contacted the store manager Richard by email when I booked the room. We arrived in Otaru after 4:30 pm. With Richard's remote guidance, we adjusted our itinerary, gained time, visited Tengu Mountain efficiently and satisfactorily, and took the last bus to the B&B. At that time, I had already had a good impression of Shukujin Villa before I checked in. After arriving, the room was clean and tidy, the tatami mattress was soft and comfortable, and the living room was bright and spacious, which allowed us to have a comfortable space to chat and drink tea. This made me fully realize how good it is to travel with multiple people and rent a villa! Moreover, each bedroom is equipped with an independent bathroom, which is very rare and an important consideration for me to compare prices when booking a room.
