Masseria l'Uliveto Agri Resort

We spent 3 days in this fantastic typically Apulian farmhouse, a stone's throw from Otranto, and we really enjoyed it. The place is lovely, perfect for those seeking relaxation, with attention to the smallest details and a truly excellent cleanliness, including the pool. The rooms, not very large, but really welcoming with white stone everywhere and equipped with every comfort, are each one in its own right and therefore absolutely far from any noise or the shouting of other guests. During our stay we dined in the restaurant of the farm and we were able to enjoy simple dishes but of a superlative taste, thanks to the raw material at km 0. Not only that, the dinners were pleasant also thanks to the service offered by Messrs Fabio and Roberto, always kind and courteous in satisfying the needs of our little one. Finally, we thank and praise Mattia, a really good "host", helpful, friendly and always precise. His young age, corroborated by an already important experience, are the certificate that a stay in this Masseria is a must.

Really nice place. Elegant and friendly staff. We ate very well and spent the right amount. After a week of fish and pizza we opted for a land based menu and we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend it and will stay there again whenever possible.

Bella location con tavoli all'aperto immersa nel verde, dotata anche di una piccola piscina , locale adatto per gruppi. Il servizio ai tavoli è stato abbastanza veloce per quanto riguarda la cucina si può fare sicuramente di meglio.Comunque eravamo un gruppo numeroso ed il menù fisso quindi va giudicato in un altro contesto. Il personale sempre cortese.

Il Salento non è questo, il Salento non può essere un posto dove spendere 55 euro a persona per antipasto, secondo e dolce accompagnati da del rosato da 3 euro al supermercato.. Location con un giardino molto carino, piante grandi e ben curate..arriviamo alla sera e lungo il tragitto numerosi altri ristoranti ed agriturismi in zona hanno il parcheggio pieno di macchine.. Qui nessun tavolo occupato, solo una coppia che forse prende un aperitivo o beve qualcosa perché soggiorna li. Servizio lentissimo, aria supponente e saccente. Alcuni piatti carini alla vista ma senza alcun gusto distintivo. Altri pessimi, mandati anche indietro senza un minimo gesto o parola di scuse dal cameriere o dalla cucina, senza proporre ( ripeto, proporre non offrire) un'alternativa. Piatti tutti pagati alla fine della cena senza alcuna parola anche dal titolare. Incertezza totale su allergeni presenti su alcuni piatti, indicazioni vaghe e contrastanti... E poi quella sala esterna con forse 8-10 ventilatori a terra sparsi era inguardabile...sembrava un magazzino di un centro commerciale.. Peccato, le attese erano alte ma la delusione durante e dopo ancora di più. Il Salento offre di meglio
