"Total No Brainer if staying in Puglia near Otranto. Highly recommend to family and friends. Spent 3 nights. Pay a small amount more for larger room. Great location -- easily accessible from main roads AND quick walk into old town area, full of restaurants, pubs, shops, incredible views. Great Hotel parking lot outside with gate. Great staff, really helpful and accommodating. I know this sounds too good, but this is a real, individual review."

"Great location with just a short walk into town. The room was okay but we were informed on arrival that the hotel controlled the room air con and not us, to turn off the air con you would need to open the door to the terrace, we were on the ground floor so this was not suitable. The room was absolutely freezing all night. Breakfast was exactly the same every day and poor quality. The bar area is in the reception area, on the night of the World Cup semi final the bar was closed so we couldn’t even buy a bottle of wine while we watched the football in our room. The basic requirements of a decent hotel is surely to operate a functioning bar. We were not allowed a late checkout as they had a large group arriving but we did note that our room, vacated at 11am , was still unmade at 15:30. On a more positive note, the pool area is fabulous, most of the staff were amazing and helpful. Now I know the score with the rubbish bar and boring breakfast I would actually stay here again due to the easy access to town and the pool area."

"Amazing location! We had dinner among the illuminated olive trees as has been the custom in Salento for a few years. Breathtaking place. Amazing fish and good appetizers too. We waited a bit too long for the second course, it would have been nice to have a bigger discount on the 4 euros that correspond to rounding up: too bad. Apart from that, everything was very good. We took a tour of the Masseria and it seemed Top!"

"We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, especially on reception. Our room was large, with two good-sized wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge, and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night, and you can't change the temperature in the room. However, if you go to reception, they can adjust it for you, and then it was great. The hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks, including proper coffees, beers, wines, and ice cream. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along, and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however, again, it does get busy in the later afternoon. We didn't eat in the restaurant however we did have breakfast, it was a bit basic, the selection of items is good however the quality is not the best we've experienced in Iraly. The hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks, and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back."

"A fabulous quirky marine themed hotel with secure parking just 10minutes walk from the old vibrant town of Otranto that had lots of restaurants, a few bars, ice cream shops etc and a variety of sunbathing spots. The staff were friendly and polite particularly Christian and Antonio providing excellent service at breakfast every day. The rooms were of a very high standard and my daughter and her friend enjoyed the roof top sun bathing terrace and showers. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in this area."

"We had a nice stay at the hotel Vittoria. The location is perfect for the beach, old town and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The front desk staff are lovely. The hotel feels like it’s used for lots of tours which means breakfast is hardly relaxing and the wait for the coffee machine is painful. My recommendation is to go for breakfast after 8:30 am. The pool is lovely and peaceful (and very clean) and despite *********** warning the pool closed for the season on the 15th it was still open. The rooms are functional but large, our doors didn’t always lock so I’d suggest checking them regularly. The bed was too hard for me so I don’t sleep to well. The Wi-Fi also was not working in the rooms but apparently it was a network issue not the hotel one. The air-con is controlled at the front desk and they kindly turned it down for us. The spa is 30 euros per person for 90 minutes. All in all for what we paid with a great location and pool I think it’s a fair price. Just to note on otranto that it is difficult to reach via public transport when the Salento bus service is not running (it is a summer service only)."

"The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which made it easy and pleasant to explore the area. There is also good availability of parking, which is very convenient. However, I did not have a good experience during the night. The smoke detector was placed directly above the bed, with a blinking green LED light every few seconds. This made it extremely difficult to rest. To be able to sleep, I had to move the mattress out of the bedroom and place it in the corridor near the bathroom to get away from the light, which is clearly not acceptable in a hotel environment. This is something that should be reconsidered, either by adjusting the placement or reducing the impact of the light. Overall, while the location is a strong point, this issue significantly affected my stay."
