"Inside the hotel are two-story single-family villas, surrounded by fields. The trip is a little bit far from the main road but it's okay. The overall environment is very good, there are several cats in the store, and the staff can speak Chinese. There are swimming pools, swings, and trampolines. The breakfast tastes good. The temperature difference between day and night in Pai is quite big, remember to bring a jacket."
"The room is the same as the picture. Let's talk about the inside first. The air conditioner faces the bed and you can't adjust the wind. It is either on or off. It is awkward to use. The wind is very strong. Another point is the noise problem. There is a bar near the door. By 2 o'clock in the morning, those who have insomnia will definitely become even more insomniac. It is very noisy and loud. The breakfast is still good."
"A single-family villa, the decoration and furnishings are a bit old but the service is very good. Sitting on the balcony and soaking in the sun, the swing by the swimming pool is very impressive. The boss is very nice and can speak Cantonese & simple Mandarin. The location is five kilometers away from walking street. There is a paid pick-up service but be careful not to leave too late. Transportation will be more convenient if you rent a scooter or car."

"A good place to live, little bit outside of town. Can be good to have a motorbike. But it is nice and quiet at this place. Polite and helpful staff. Nice rooms✨ though did smell abit musty in their simplest bungalows. They have breakfast in the morning. And is a safe haven for some nice cats living there. I very much enjoyed my stay✨"
"No staff is very kind and very good. Although there is a little distance from the city, the service staff is still very active and told us that they can help us.
The environment is very close to nature, which makes us feel relaxed physically and mentally, and makes us have a pleasant holiday"
"The room was good. The second-floor sky room we lived in had relatively few mosquitoes and had a balcony, but it was blocked by a tree and the scenery in the distance could not be seen. The toilet is super big and it's a bit scary to be empty. The breakfast is delicious, and there are quite a few types. The waiter serves very well."
"The hotel is on the bank of the Bai River, and there is a pontoon to walk to the market. The staff are warm and thoughtful and helped to walk a long way with luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Maybe they just came from the Tree House Hotel and finally feel relieved. I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is rich, the order system, the service is very nice. The swimming pool was very clean, but unfortunately, it rained for a long time the next day. The water in the pool was cold and the children could not swim as expected. Compared to the weekend night market in Chiang Mai, the night market here is more suitable for eating and walking. The fruit pancakes are really delicious!"
"Giving this house a full 5 points is not to say that it is perfect, but to think that the price is really good in all aspects.
The hotel is a few minutes walk away from the Aya bus station. The 7 of us had a lot of luggage. We called the hotel reception and immediately sent someone to pick us up. It is not on the main road, and it feels very quiet like a small paradise. There is a river in front of the hotel. Sitting in the open lobby of the hotel, the wind is blowing slowly, making it particularly comfortable. There is a small swimming pool, very beautiful, the water has a slight salty taste, each room is a small single-family house, there is a balcony at the door, it is still very clean, not bad in all aspects. It is also very close to the night market, but it does not include breakfast. I especially like the green plants in the hotel, like a garden."
"I liked the hotel - it’s nice and clean. There was no mosquitoes while we were staying there which is extremely good. The farm is fine too. However, we had to leave early, asked about the breakfast and we’re told that it starts at 9am. The next morning we learned that the actual time was 8am…"
"Stayed for two nights, and it was very comfortable to lie by the pool at night and smell the smoky smell of the burning mountains in northern Thailand.
Later, I ran into the nooks and crannies of Mae Hong Son and passed through the burning roadside flames. This trip was not easy for me."

Very Good
GGuest UserThis resort is perfectly located a few short miles from the busy activity of Pai town and major tourist attractions. The bungalows are spread across the landscaped terraces, separated by flowering trees and fish ponds. The resort sits among the rice fields of the Pai River valley, with views of mountain ranges on two sides. The setting is peaceful -- with the sounds of tree frogs, wild birds, geckos and the occasional farm animal providing a natural orchestra. The new owner, Vanda, is a fantastic hostess and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have the information you need to make the most out of Pai's many attractions. In Jan 2023 the resort installed new, spring mattresses and upgraded internet service and wifi technology to the best available in Thailand. The free, high-speed wifi service is available resort-wide, making the Pond Terrace a perfect shared workspace for digital nomads and those traveling for work. The breakfast options (included in the price) included Muesli with yogurt or honey, French Toast, or full American Breakfast. Fresh tropical fruit from local farms is included with each. Finally, the coffee options included American coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte made from freshly ground coffee beans from northern Thailand. We have lived and travelled in Thailand for 8 years. This resort ticks all the boxes! We will return--often!
GGuest UserBeautiful, comfortable room and riverfront balcony in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful, even when I caused some problems by inadvertently leaving with the wrong luggage (long story; it was an accident but mostly my fault, and they were very gracious about helping to find a solution). I appreciated the comfortable bed, seating area for doing some work, and hot, clean shower. A couple of things to note: there is some noise that will be unavoidable at any of the riverfront properties. I could hear people walking across the bridge and something involving a man speaking on a microphone that seemed to happen regularly. There were also some tiny ants around, not really a problem but something to be aware of if you bring food into the room. I would still happily stay here again or recommend it to a friend.
AAnonymous UserGreat location - within walking distance to night market (3-5mins). The room is clean and spacious. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast area and the breakfast options. The hotel has a resident cat which we absolutely adored! The hotel offers free parking for its guests. We would definitely return to stay in the hotel should we return to Pai.

GGuest UserReally lovely little bungalows in a green and quiet setting. It’s a little walk into the main part of town but it can be walked in around 15 mins and there are places to stop and have a drink/food on the way. Even better if you have a moped. The owner is very kind and friendly. Note that the mattresses are very firm in this place, but that’s like most of Thailand! The vibe is very chilled and the hammock outside is a great touch
AAndiKLocation: it is not that near to night market. Walking with young kids not easy. However, free shuttle bus to the night market makes the distance tolerable.
Room: The doors to the room and toilet are sagging. Made it difficult to close without screeching sound. Sound proofing can be improved. I could hear people talking along the corridor and a group of people partying loudly at the open air lobby area. Mosquitoes fly into the room the moment you open the door. Thankfully the bed is clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is also decent.

GGuest UserI appreciated the care given from the staff, and the manager. I am a vegetarian and each morning he made sure I was accommodated with some warm vegetarian food. I moved from the standard room to the cottage because there is no sound proofing, something that would serious upgrade the standard rooms.
I loved the peace and quiet, the hotsprings and watching the elephant bath in the river each morning.
KKailash ShahaniI recently stayed at Payi Resort in Pai, Thailand, and had a wonderful experience overall! The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. The traditional Thai-style bungalows add a charming touch, making it a great escape from the city hustle.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The location is also a plus—just a short distance from Pai Walking Street and major attractions, making it convenient for exploring.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the WiFi could be a bit stronger, and some areas of the resort might need minor upgrades. However, these were small issues compared to the overall experience.
If you're looking for a serene stay in Pai with a great balance of comfort and nature, Payi Resort is a fantastic choice! Would definitely return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

DdaThe most important thing to know about this place is, it's rural. This has many implications:
Cons - the grounds are very beautiful, at night with the stars out, and during the day when u can see the surrounding fields. Sunsets are gorgeous out here.
- We saw plenty of children running around and having a fantastic time.
- Laid back natural atmosphere.
Cons - the ground can be seen between the floorboards, this means very poor insolation and it got very cold in December.
- The floorboards creak. Alot. You'll hear your neighbor's every step.
- The doors are flimsy and do not shut we'll.
- The bathroom is external, and though private and large is exposed to some degree to external element. I liked it alot, but my partner did not. In any case, can get pretty cold on there at night
I wouldn't worry about safety, felt pretty safe to me.
Bottom line, very good vibe but rudimentary services.

アアスタI work at a hotel in Japan.
This is the backyard, more than anything else.
It's the best chill spot and I'm happy just being there.
The location is great, the bed is spacious and the value is great.

GGuest UserExcellent place for the price. It isn’t like some of the other places that are directly in town, but it’s like a 10 minute walk to get to the center of Pai. Kind staff and great amenities.
The average price for hotels in Pai is AED 154 on weekdays, and AED 154 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
