2-Star Hotels in Palma de Mallorca

I have chosen this hotel mainly because of its proximity to the Plaça d'Espanya (walking distance). Hourly paid street parking (blue lines), thru the day you can stay in one spot for two hours, then you have to move, but it is free from 8 PM till the morning. Good luck finding a free spot in the evening :D Breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM (ham, cheese, croissants, baked goods, fruit, water, juice, coffee.. simple, tasty stuff). The room is okay, although I missed the waste bin (there was one small in the bathroom) and the original TV controller (just wanted to change the language). The shower was not in the best shape (a little bit of mold in the corners), but the water pressure was really great, so I didn't mind. The main negative for me was the noise. I heard everything in the night and I'm not a light sleeper.. people walking thru the corridors, laughing, talking, enjoying company even moving the chairs from the reception as I slept on the 1st floor, near the stairs. Overall, I'd choose this hotel again for a short trip, but I'd take earplugs with and I'd request a higher floor. Enjoy your stay in Mallorca.

I have lived in the cleanest one in the Youth Hostel, each bed has a curtain that is more private. The six-person room has a bathroom, the ten-person public toilet is also very clean, there is a kitchen public refrigerator, the lobby leisure area and the top floor have a swimming pool and lounge chairs, Majorca is a very good travel choice

This price is already very good on Mallorca. The front desk is more expensive than Ctrip. Because I later added a night, the price is more expensive than Ctrip. There is a direct bus to the centre of Parma at the door, which is very convenient.

This place is a very very large dormitory with small individual cells who are ok organized with lights, wifi, tablet with service for movies..etc. The place is keep well clean. Downstairs you have individuals lockers, kitchen with free coffee or tea and a nice sitting area. The conception is a bit awkward, you have to pass by the reception to go downstairs to your locker and to the showers/toilets room who is mix-sex. The hotel works with codes that you received on your phone by 15:00 (good luck if you don't have Europe internet) During the day, someone is at the reception.. so you will have your chance to get in, but not in evening and later on.. Well!.. thank you to the nosy guests.. answering their phone at 1 am..having the lights on.. etc..or the others keeping us awake most of the night.

The hostel is well located, close to the historic center and in a neighborhood with several clubs. The staff at the front desk were not responsive at all, to very basic questions. There was a small ”accident” in the room and they simply changed the room, without even apologizing. The common spaces are nice and the free breakfast included is a good thing. I advise the staff to put a little more effort into it.
