A hidden gem. Don't be put off by the lane off the road to get to it. It's a beautiful, quaint resort with 10 bungalow style rooms, enough for 20 guests. The owner lives on site, with his family and 3 lovely dogs, and both he and all of his staff are very attentative, making our stay very personal. The food is exceptional. It is a very clean hotel providing pool and beach towels. All amenities are close at hand. Restaurants, bars, atm, motorcycles hire, laundry etc and the beach is just a short walk away. We still have 2 nights left before we move on but I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a quiet, peaceful stay with hustle and bustle around the virner if you want it.

We patronized this place twice for food and were amazed by the beauty of the setting. The menu provides a variety of local and European dishes, the highlight is certainly the steak competence where you have a choice between local, Brazilian and USDA certified beef cuts in all varieties. excellent setting of the restaurant, great service most important, fantastic food! Thank you very much to Stephan and his team! Looking forward to come back

Good value for money. Excellent food. Lots of choices on Steaks and wine. European and western food. Close to everything and walking distance to the beach. Few meters away from atm machine and easy to get public transportation for every distination. We’ll surely come back

From start to finish this has been an amazing stay. We arrived very early and they facilitated an early check in, advised us on which trips were good value or not, organised an amazing driver, and met every need. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds very comfortable, the food - epic! The hot stone and crème brûlée in particular. A very short walk to Alona Beach but tuktuks right outside if needed. All the staff were attentive at all times, the pool was beautiful and the gorgeous dogs added to the stay. Had to make sure we actually left to go and explore Bohol as it was so welcoming!

We spent 10 days at this beautiful resort and its been the best stay on our trip on the Philippines. The room is clean and more luxurious than you would expect in this price category. You can chill at the Pool, whirlpool or on the lounger. The thing, which makes this resort different from other places is the size of around 14 guests so that you dont feel like in a big hotel with travel tipps in needed, as well as the food quality! We were sceptical as the menu is quote extensive, but the french onion soup, german farmer breakfast or traditional philippine dish is highly recommended! We will definetely come again.

We stayed as a couple in the Alona Royal Palm complex for about 2 weeks in April 2023. The service was excellent and everything was taken care of immediately. Rooms, beds, refrigerator, bathroom, air conditioning, terrace, etc. were well maintained and always clean. The staff was courteous, nice and always friendly. The restaurant has very good cuisine and the menu had a balanced selection. The salads were always fresh and the dishes tasted great. We can fully recommend this resort and the restaurant.

A perfect week, the setting of the hotel is heavenly, very well maintained. The rooms are very beautiful; spacious and perfect cleaning. While being 5 minutes from restaurants and shops and 10 from the beach, the hotel is located slightly back from the main artery and there is absolute calm. All the employees are very kind and attentive. The owners are always present and very friendly. The breakfast is very good, plentiful and varied. No really I don't see any fault, it's really a place of absolute serenity while being at the heart of everything.

Siamo stati qui 3 notti durante la nostra permanenza a Panglao. Il posto ci e’ piaciuto molto, pochi alloggi ben tenuti ( sono delle piccole casette con porta finestra diretta sul giardino e la piscina) . Il personale e’ super gentile, super disponibile e super sorridente. Arrivi e ti senti subito come se fossi di casa. La struttura si trova in una zona molto tranquilla pur essendo a pochi minuti a piedi dal caotico centro dove ci sono ristoranti e locali. 7 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Alona ( sinceramente non e’ la spiaggia piu’ bella che ci sia) ma con pochi euro si prende il tuk tuk e ci si fa portare ovunque. L’ hotel offre supporto per organizzare vari tour e gite sull’ isola sia in formula gruppi che privata. La colazione è inclusa e non e’ a buffet ma alla carta, si sceglie la versione che si preferisce ( continetal/ american/ asiatica/ waffle..) e viene preparata al momento e sinceramente e’ super rispetto a tutti quei buffet solitamente mediocri che si trovano in giro. Che altro aggiungere, se non che e’ stato tutto perfetto, addirittura ci hanno dato la colazione al sacco per le giornate in cui le gite prevedevano levatacce notturne.
