Best Panglao Hotels

Stayed for 3 days and was a bit far from Alona Beach, but fortunately there was a free shuttle bus at the hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are very new, and the complimentary breakfast is not bad. But the hotel is surrounded by villages, dirty and messy, the road to the hotel turned out to be a dirt road, the tap water and the water in the pool are all unpurified sea water, a bit salty, the whole of the island of Bohol. With a 12-year-old child, there is no extra bed, and 800p per night, which is a bit expensive. Since I go out to play every day, the overall situation is not bad, the environment there is the same. The level of consumption is comparable to that of first-tier cities in China.

I was thinking of staying 3 nights and moving to another place, but I thought it was great for this price, so I extended my stay for 3 more days. I lost my sunglasses in the middle, but they kept them well and found them. I'm really, really grateful for this^^ There's no hair dryer in the room, but if you go to the front desk, they'll lend you one. If you ask them to change the towels, they'll change them right away. Overall, I was really, really satisfied and had a great time. It was a great place for the price. Thanks to them, I had a great time and came home comfortably. Thank you so much^^

It was fantastic Vacation ever. Front desk Kevin was amazing from Arrival until departure. He was very kind and efficient. It was nice welcome. The restaurant staffs all were great. Breakfast, beach snack and dinner. They are kind and provide best service. Beach safety guards and security(Julio, if i remember correctly) very kind and help single traveler request very well. Thanks for my departure transportation driver. Every staffs with busy operation, they keep smile on face. I have a best vacation under the sun and beautiful beach with South Palm resort! Our stay at Bohol Beach Club was truly delightful. The property's commitment to environmental friendliness impressed us, and the staff's kindness exceeded our expectations. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: Our room was very spacious, featuring three big beds which comfortably fit our family. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy environment for relaxation after a day of exploring. Great Value for Money: Compared to other hotels in the area, Azul de Panglao offers great value for money. The price is significantly cheaper while still providing excellent amenities and service. Complimentary Breakfast and More: We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of bread and butter every morning, which was a nice touch. Additionally, free water was available anytime, and they even provided bananas, which the kids loved. Nice Amenities: The hotel boasts a nice shower with ample toiletries and towels provided. We had a total of 6 rooms reserved for this hotel for a one night stay. It was a family overnight stay.When we first arrived - we were assigned to rooms in the second building where some trash is being burned at the next property. The smoke was bothersome. The rooms also smell somewhat musty. The hotel personnel however were very nice and accommodating and immediately transferred us to the main building. They did ask the next door property owner to put out the trash fire. Overall our stay in this place was very good. Breakfast was good and it was right at the poolside. Access to the beach was very easy. Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly.

The resort is very good overall. However there's a few niggles. Check in took way too long. 2 people serving? When you have a long queue in the heat of the lobby this isn't a great first impression. The lobby on arrival was so busy. When I've checked into other hotels I've usually been impressed with the smoothness of check in. This wasn't a pleasant experience or environment especially if you're traveling with children. We couldn't get a massage. We wanted to confirm the time the next day and they wouldn't give us this option.? The lift? One lift in the main area? For a resort this big and expensive they should have more lifts The stairs at the pool are stony. This will really hurt your feet when you're not expecting it The breakfast is good for Filipinos however for Westerners like myself there should be more choice. Not just bread and egg. The beach is small. You get hassled by people trying to sell you stuff. Protect your belongings. Doesn't feel safe, look out for algae in the water. Not pleasant to swim through. The resort restaurants are very expensive. The lobby isn't air conditioned? Why not make it a pleasure to be in the lobby and serve coffee to guests? Not everyone wants ice tea. We were told to pay 6000php on arrival which luckily we had but we didn't know about this deposit for incidentals ahead of time. The positives are. They gave us umbrellas when we walked outside for the shade. The shower in our room was excellent. The warm water in the pool. And swimming till late is lovely. The staff are very good and attentive and professional. They served us with care and attention and nothing was too much trouble. I got looked after by the nurse at 10pm.
