"We had a really fun and enjoyable stay at Alona by JPark Resort! The location is great—close to Alona Beach but still peaceful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were warm and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially loved the pool area—it was clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding.
Food was good, and overall the experience was pleasant and memorable. Just a small suggestion: it would be better if the aircon filters were cleaned regularly, as we noticed it could be improved.
Still, we had a great time and would consider staying here again."

"3/5. We stayed there for ~6 nights and it was alright. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Location was just right and just a short scooter ride to the main area of Alona.
What the hotel doesn’t do too well is the details. The room is spacious and pleasantly decorated, but it’s somehow less than clean all the time. Sheets did not feel fresh even when we asked them to change it. The floor was slightly dirty when we first got in the room and stayed that way. Bathroom facilities were subpar- toilet seat cover was broken and so was the shower curtain rail at one point. There was also black mould on the ceiling.
No problem staying here for 1-2 nights."

"We stayed for 10 nights in a Standard Double Room located in the West Wing. The room was very clean and well-kept, with daily housekeeping and a very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning and lighting were just right, making the room ideal for rest or work. Wi-Fi was 90% stable, with only occasional drops.
The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Alona Beach and close to shops and dining options. The hotel has a pool and a “Chada” restaurant that serves some of the most delicious food we had in Bohol.
One thing to note is that the building has no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with large suitcases like we were. Fortunately, the staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with our luggage during check-in and check-out. That level of service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Everyone on staff was friendly, approachable, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and overall, the property felt well-managed.
For the price we paid, this was excellent value for money. I’d happily recommend it to others—especially if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great food without breaking the bank."

"Great hotel right on Alona beach, far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to the restaurants and bars. Stayed in a beach view room, was large and clean with the best beach view of any hotel I’ve stayed in. The sky infinity pool felt like the pool joined to the ocean. Also one of the best rooftop pools of any hotel I’ve stayed in and with the attached pool bar a great place to enjoy a cocktail or beer in the pool while watching the sunset. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only areas of note that could be improved, the bath towels were of lower quality than I would have expected in a hotel of this level and the coffee at breakfast was terrible, luckily the room had a Nespresso machine."

Breakfast was plated and reasonable for its price. The room tended to be a bit humid, and the pool had a strong chlorine level, so using swimming goggles may be helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"So, Only Seed Hotel... hmm, where do I start? The room was okay, but you know when the pics online look way better? Yeah, that. I think they use photos of, like, all their rooms for the standard king, 'cause I was picturing something bigger. The shower was a struggle – was the water even hot? Who knows!
The separate toilet and shower thing? Cute idea, but brrr! Still freezing in there because of the gaps up top. And OMG, when my hubby showered, the toilet flooded! The seal is a joke. And the bidet? Let's just say it's like a power washer for your lady bits. Ouch!
But hey, free water! That's a win. And the breakfast? Sarap! Not too salty, just right. I was shook when they brought out the whole spread – fruit, coffee, juice... all of it! Tapsilog was on point. They even nailed the eggs – sunnyside up for me, cooked yolk for the hubs. Plus, a whole plate of watermelon each! The juice and coffee were legit.
The pool looked Insta-worthy, but we were zonked from our countryside tour. Plus, it closes early. The location's a bit out of the way, but there's street food nearby for when you're tipid. Not the best grub, but busog is busog, right?
Would I stay again? Ewan ko. The staff were super nice, though. But no phones in the room? Ugh, gotta trek to the front desk next door for everything. Not fun in the Bohol heat! 😅 But they did decorate the room for our anniversary, which was a nice touch.

"We first stayed in junior room on the first floor. There was work going on. Moved to the villa which was a completely different experience.
The junior suite was large but unfortunately without a balcony. On arrival we had fruit and free non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge. In the evening we were provided with cookies. The room was on the 1st floor. They supplied shower gel and conditioner but no soap.
There was work going on next door to the room. We discussed our noise concerns Analou who arranged for us to move to a Villa. Analou also helped with the tour bookings. She was professional and friendly.
The villa was amazing with a plunge pool and all the extras in the bathroom.
The pool was kept clean and in the afternoon provided with a shot of juice and an ice lolly.
Service throughout the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious. Thanks to the housekeeping team- Jamie’s, Rommel and Claude.
In the restaurant and bar area I want to thank Vincent, Daniel and Girlie.
We ate at the Spanish restaurant which was good and by the pool.
The hotel arranged trips to see dolphins and turtles which we enjoyed. We also went on the country side tour. Although we did not go into the church as it closes on Tuesday’s.
The nice little extras were cookies in the toom. Cold towels, ice cream and fruit shots by pool."

We always felt safe when Pedi was on duty and Ate Vany made us feel like we were family! We got back late one night and I was super hungry and she cooked for me❤️. We will return!

Location was good, it was along the highway and had many stores and restaurants outside. It was 5mins ride from the airport, about 10mins walk to alona beach and the surrounding was quiet and serene.
Room was really relaxing, clean and had alot of space. Food during buffet was okay, but the staff were really nice and efficient.
They provided free shuttle from the airport and to the pier during our check-out, that was amazing!
I would definitely go back with my family and recommend that you try this wonderful hotel as well!

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating making us feel right at home. Buffet breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from Asian and Filipino foods. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The scenery around the hotel was stunning, and our room was very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the free airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as the complimentary instant noodles and coffee available at the restaurant. Overall, a wonderful experience and a hotel we highly recommend!

UUknowsuke tripFirst of all, the service is perfect. They were very kind. I had to go to the port early in the morning, but they arranged a tuk-tuk for me. I was very grateful for that.
The location is also close to Alona Beach, and if you take a motorbike taxi, it will cost about 50 pesos.
You can also walk there, but it's a bit difficult at night, so I recommend taking a motorbike taxi. There is a very stylish cafe restaurant near the hotel, so please try it.
There were quite a few ants in the room, but it didn't bother me. If you are concerned about them, please use another hotel.
The water pressure in the shower is a little weak, but hot water comes out!

Cons:
-Misleading Information and must be updated! The ad shows that the hotel has all the amenities that we looked for are wifi/wired internet in the rooms, swimming pool and few steps from the beach but it's not. We checked in late at night and the location is far from the beach, wifi is available at their Gazebo or lobby area with mosquitos.
-There are 2 different hotel branches, one is few steps from Alona beach proper with wifi in the rooms but no pool and the other one is their 2nd newer branch which is 1 tuktuk ride away from Alona beach proper no wifi in the rooms, wired internet isn't working but with swimming pool.
-I was upfront to the hotelier that I travel for work and measure and need all those amenities that were stated on the website, but the remedy they kept insisting is to move us to their other branch which is older, no pool with wifi in the room as they do not have the wifi nor wired internet in their room at their 2nd hotel and that we can just go their in the morning to use their pool 🤣
-No one from the hotel apologize, not even a Manager's shadow reachout
-Trip.com said sorry and provide compensation but it's not enough for the lost working hours due to the mosquito bites I had while I tried to work at the lobby but was not able to tolerate it as I am afraid of having Dengue, did not get anything from the hotel's management
-tricycle/tuktuk will cost you 100 pesos per way PRICEY
-we tried to walk to the beach as there is another route close to the 2nd hotel but the way is rocky and stairs were steep as it was meant for divers or island Hopper not the white strip that were posted on the website
-corkage fee so better to buy at the restaurant at the hotel or eat outside
**AGAIN THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT HOTEL BRANCH WITH DIFFERENT ADDRESSES AND AMENITIES, SO BE CAREFUL IN BOOKING ESPECIALLY IF YOU TRAVEL FOR WORK AND NEEDS WIFI IN THE ROOM.
