"Opal Cove is a little dated both inside and out, but the amenities were great. The pool was a really good size and, despite being quite busy with families, it never felt overcrowded.
We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked well suited for families. The resort itself was quiet, and our room was spacious, which was a big plus.
The only real disappointment was that the bed sheets hadn’t fully dried and were damp near the bottom. As this was around 10pm, I didn’t call to have them changed, but unfortunately it made for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep.
Overall, a pleasant stay with good facilities, but better attention to room preparation would have made a big difference."

"There is no elevator, so it was a bit hard to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs, but the room had a large bed, air conditioning, towels, and a water faucet for washing hands, which was convenient. It wasn't particularly clean, but it was comfortable. The floor below where the hotel rooms were located was a restaurant and bar, so you could easily go out to eat, and the location was within walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants, so I was satisfied. The kitchen wasn't very clean, but the bathroom and toilet were clean. Also, when I asked the staff, they were happy to let me leave my luggage, which was very helpful."

"Outstanding friendly and helpful service, modern and fresh in a look in a historical context, brilliant, nostalgic. Good food in the bistro, great location close to the train station, easy to find for travellers who want to get away from the night time B-doubles using the highway. As close as you can get to the jetty, close to the marina and Mutton Bird Island, Coffs Creek, Park beach, Gallows beach in easy walking reach. Well worth staying more than one night if your schedule allows.
The shared bathroom is a touch of authenticity and should not discourage staying there, it’s a corner pub. I will return for more than one night."

"Lovely experience, the cabin was small yet homey. The only downside was that the bunk beds were quite cramped, as my children are a mere 6’6 in height. The bathroom had nice smelling amenities such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner. The cabin in its entirety was well kept and in good condition. The location was very close to the beach, and had many amenities that my kids would’ve found fun if they had been youthful 8 year olds."

"It's quite good. I drove and stayed in Coffs Harbor for one night. Our balcony faced the swimming pool. It was open from 8am to 8pm. I didn't go because it felt a bit cold, but it was very beautiful and should be fun. The room is quite nice and there is a microwave available."

These are fully self catering cottages so you need to bring food but everything else is provided including firelighters and matches.
Order your Firewood in advance from the office.
Thoughtful touches like fluffy dressing gowns and a rug for cuddling up on the sofa much appreciated

Only small point is the WiFi (no signal at all at Santa Fe cottage and poor throughput even if you go nearer to the router).

GGuest UserThe apartment is quite old and has a dated feel, but it was clean and well maintained. The towels and linens were crisp and spotless. The location was convenient for shopping and dining, though it’s not next to the beach. It suited our needs well for a stopover, but I probably wouldn’t choose it as a holiday destination. The owners/managers were excellent communicators and very helpful whenever we had questions.

Over priced considering no table service for drinks or cocktails as had to wait at bar for drinks
Staff seemed a little over whelmed and stressed by the amount of people
Food in restaurant was average and a bit overpriced.
Breakfast was delicious and had a great range on offer ,staff were pleasant and helpful .
Reception staff were exceptional on the Saturday and Sunday checking out.
A very nice resort but the standard has gone down since last being there almost 12 months ago .

It contains everything you need, including a big fridge and a dishwasher.
The check in was quick and easy, we arrived one hour earlier and the apartment was already ready for an early check in. Location is great, walking distance from the beach and places to eat. I definitely recommend it

GGuest UserThe location is convenient because it's only 5 minutes away from old and new town, also not far from diffent beaches. Staff are friendly and helpful. The motel is old so don't expect a luxury stay but room size is good. We saw some huge cockroaches inside our room one after another so that was a bit frightening. We'll stay somewhere else if we have options because the cost for our stay was nearly $300 a night.

GGuest UserWe booked on short notice and was able to get a pet friendly room for a 1 night stay. The room was clean & comfortable. The facilities were very good. The manager? on the desk was a lovely lady, very friendly and a great personality.
The noise was a bit loud from the highway but by 11pm it had settled and only heard a bit through the night.
I think it is amazing to even have a pet friendly motel and I would gladly stay there again.

GGuest UserBasic hotel room, no air conditioning, although not needed this time of year. Older style and the room is small. All good for a one night stop while driving north or south. The small bathroom and shower were super clean. Strangely there is no basin in the bathroom but there is a kitchen sink in the bedroom, however there isn't a kitchenette. Having said that I would consider staying there again for the right price.
