"This was the only room available at the time of booking. The room was quiet and hygienic. "This hotel is a top-rated choice in Chongzhou city center. The facilities are all very new, and the decor is simple, elegant, and modern. Nearby Xiaodong Street offers dining options, but it tends to be crowded. The Rou Dou Hua (meat tofu pudding) place diagonally opposite the hotel is quite good value for money, and there are also some snacks available. The breakfast is quite rich, with freshly made noodles, like pickled cabbage and shredded pork noodles, as well as side dishes, steamed items, bread, tarts, coffee, vegetables, and fruits, all of which were excellent. The hotel's location is superb, right at No. 29 Bojiang Street in the heart of the ancient town, bordering the Weijiang River. It's incredibly convenient for exploring all parts of the old town or heading out to find delicious food.
Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the Nordic minimalist decor – serene yet elegant. The lobby features a piano and a writing desk, while the hallways are adorned with calligraphy and paintings. There are also numerous book nooks, creating a strong sense of literary charm. The common areas are well-equipped, with outdoor tea tables and a treehouse. The second-floor terrace was perfect for enjoying drinks and conversation with friends in the evening; the atmosphere was absolutely amazing.
My room experience was also excellent. The central air conditioning provides year-round temperature control, and the underfloor heating ensures warmth even in winter. "The hotel is located across from a parking lot on the pedestrian street, offering convenient parking (guests can pick up parking vouchers at the front desk upon departure). It's also a short walk from the ancient town center. The hotel is newly renovated, with a spacious lobby area featuring a reception, breakfast room, tea room, and Hanfu clothing rentals. The courtyard is quite beautiful, the rooms are large, and the hallways are wide. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms, perfect for reading, drinking tea, smoking, or taking in the courtyard views. It's quite a pleasant space. The room facilities are decent for an ancient town, and the overall impression is quite good. However, the quality and standard of service leave room for improvement. The housekeeping staff, in particular, felt somewhat lackluster. For example, the bed wasn't made (we briefly made it when we left, but it was still the same when we returned). The used towels and bath towels were rearranged but not replaced (ours were left draped over the bathtub, wet and messy. Even though they weren't placed in the bamboo basket (because the basket was in a corner of the bathtub, making it difficult to see, as shown in the photo below), common sense suggests they should have been replaced). There was very little toilet paper left, and no new rolls were provided. The drinking water (the hotel uses bottled water) wasn't replenished, and other issues like these made the work feel shoddy and unprofessional. For a two-night stay over the National Day holiday, which cost nearly 500 yuan per day, basic service should have been provided. This isn't a negative review, but I believe everyone appreciates objective reviews, so I felt it was necessary to write this. This doesn't change my preference for the hotel over other options, so I offer constructive feedback and suggestions in the hope that improvements will be made. I'm sure I'll choose this hotel again next time."

SSushi is lifeBeautiful place, as depicted in the photos. Service and food were great. Bed was super comfortable, shower was hot and strong, toiletries were of superb quality. We went with our elderly parents and they loved being in nature and having such fresh air everyday. It feels like a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the world.
Note that there is no nearby shop as the hotel is halfway up the hill and the hotel restaurant is not open throughout the day. This was not an issue for us as we were able to order food delivery with the guidance of the hotel staff. Also, this is much nearer to 街子古镇 and is quite a distance to the main 青城山 area. We loved 街子古镇 though as it is much less touristy than the main 青城山 area and spent an entire day exploring the town.
What could be improved:
- During our first day there were issues with wifi and the room heater. Although the staff responded to our requests for help immediately, it took a few hours to fix the wifi, while the heater was only fixed the next day. Service was very pleasant though and I appreciate their sincere updates as I understand some things are beyond control. I do wish they could have checked the heater beforehand.
- There was no tour of the grounds when we arrived, nor an introduction to the free activities available as part of our stay, so we had to explore the place ourselves and ask for activities such as: calligraphy, horse riding, free car ride to the Qingchengshan train station.
All in all, despite a few hiccups, it was a very comfortable and restful stay. Thank you to the team for taking good care of us!

AArrow_HuangThe hotel is about a 20-minute hike uphill from Jiezi Ancient Town. The mountain road is narrow but there's not much traffic. The hotel itself is nicely designed and aesthetically pleasing. The hot spring bath in the room is very comfortable, and the heating is on full blast, so it's not cold. The hotel staff are very attentive. It's great that you can bring your dog, and there's a viewing platform where you can enjoy afternoon tea. The only thing I think needs improvement is that the showerhead in the bathroom needs replacing, and the hot water is a bit weak, making it difficult for women to wash long hair.

锦锦润妈妈The location of the inn is on the street of the ancient town, opposite to the Agricultural Bank of China. You need to walk through an alley, next to the river, and you can drink tea to watch the river view, and you can also stay in. You can drive before 8 a.m. and after 7 p.m. Cars can drive directly into the ancient town and park in designated areas. I went during the day and called the boss. The lady boss came out to pick us up and took us to park the car into the ancient town. We booked two standard rooms for the three big ones and one small one. They were located at two pairs of doors. It felt like a small courtyard. We also visited the big bed room. This shop is decorated with tatami mats and put mattresses directly on top of the tatami mats. very unique. There are only four rooms in the store, two standard rooms and two big beds. The room is small, and there may be no way to add an extra bed. The price is a bit more expensive in the local area, but it is clean and hygienic. The riverside environment is good. The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic and the service is attentive. They also introduced us to the surrounding food. There should be no breakfast at any of the B&Bs here. Get up in the morning while the weather is still cool, go to the ancient town square, and you can solve the breakfast. There are soy milk, fried dough sticks, porridge, steamed buns, parfait, Yeerba, and rice noodles. , Beef Noodle...More choices. Local vegetables can be bought on the square before the eight o'clock city management is released. By the way, the ancient town in July and August is still quite hot.
