"Fuqing is a beautiful place with outstanding people, and choosing Rongqiao Hotel for accommodation is the wisest decision. Although it's rated as a four-star hotel, both its interior and exterior environments are definitely five-star standard. It feels fantastic to be nestled among Fuqing's scenic mountains and waters. The breakfast spread is especially rich, with a wide variety of local specialties. There's also a stunning little garden landscape. The swimming pool is very clean, and the front desk manager is incredibly polite. Due to the large number of guests checking in that day, I couldn't get a higher-floor room. After discussing with Ctrip, they agreed to waive the breakfast fee, and Ctrip's service is truly reliable and trustworthy 👍👍 Will definitely come again!"

The bad point is that the sound insulation is too poor. There is no sealing strip on the door gap. The door gap is very large. You can hear the outside noise very clearly. You can also hear the sound of the hair dryer next door. Other things are okay. The cost performance is also okay. The hygiene is also satisfactory. "It was tough to find a last-minute room during Chinese New Year, so I booked this place the night before and was pleasantly surprised. There's even a snack street nearby! However, I had specifically requested not to have a corner room when booking, and they confirmed it wouldn't be an issue. But when I checked in the next day, it was late, and upon getting to the room, I found it was a corner one. I went back to the front desk, and they said there were no other rooms available, only that last corner room. I was a bit speechless, especially since I had noted it beforehand. If they couldn't accommodate the request, they should have told me when I booked. Having to drag my luggage back and forth to switch rooms was really annoying and a hassle."

Although the breakfast is relatively simple, the cooking tastes good and the restaurant is a lake view. And it is too convenient to live in the scenic area on holidays, otherwise the parking is far away and you have to walk in from the mountain gate."

TTuntunyaThe service was good, and the staff were very enthusiastic. However, the facilities were a bit disappointing. They looked okay at first glance, but the details need improvement. We booked a music-themed room, but the karaoke microphone was broken. After we reported the issue, it wasn't replaced, and we never heard back. The tap water just trickled out instead of spraying, and I wonder how long it's been broken. The family suite was essentially two original rooms with a connecting door, so it had two bathrooms. But in one of the rooms, there wasn't even a table, a kettle, or even a chair to put clothes on... it was just awkward.

Poetic Charm: I initially thought the 'Yangming school of mind' theme was just a gimmick, but I was completely won over after staying. Smart voice control for curtains and lighting, laminated glass effectively blocks out street noise, and I was awakened by the morning mist over the Long River instead of traffic sounds.
Service Beyond Expectation: Arriving late at night, the butler was already waiting at the entrance and helped carry my luggage to the room. A freshly brewed pour-over coffee was delivered promptly in the morning. This 'present but not intrusive' sense of service balance is just superb!
Fuzhou (Fuqing) Trip.com needs more hotels like this!

The design is very unreasonable and inhumane. Later, I walked here several times to deepen my memory. There are many varieties of breakfast, but there is no milk. The soy milk is thin and cold. But the price is already very good

I asked housekeeping to send some water to the room, and they charged 2 yuan per bottle. I'm not sure if that's reasonable. The payment was made directly to the staff via QR code, and it couldn't be added to the room bill, which I personally found unreasonable.
Breakfast had very limited options, probably because there weren't many guests, but I could grudgingly accept it.
