"Our stay here was absolutely delightful. From check-in to check-out, every hotel staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. We arrived at the hotel past 10 PM, and the front desk staff were very helpful, proactively assisting us with our luggage and even upgrading our room. We had a private duplex villa with very new facilities. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and it was very quiet at night. Room service was responsive, and breakfast was good too. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the Confucius Temple. Highly recommend!"

"Good standard hotel. Kids loved the activités offered as well as the soft play. Breakfast was good and pool was clean if basic. Sauna and steam room weren’t really on, temeperatures were so low as to not make them worth suing."

"I really appreciated the Chinese courtyard design. The rooms themselves were well-designed and spacious. My only minor complaint was the hotel's overall layout, which could be a bit inconvenient. The property is quite sprawling, with multiple symmetrical courtyards arranged from east to west. From the lobby, reaching the northernmost guest rooms can be a considerable walk, easily 500 meters, and involves navigating through several doors. It's quite easy to get disoriented. However, the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful – warm, friendly, and always eager to help guests with any issues. The service was top-notch! This is definitely one of the best value-for-money Marriott hotels."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's courtyard design. It would be even better if they could add a clothes rack or some outdoor seating to the courtyard.
The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to the Confucius Temple. The site itself was once a granary, and it's now flanked by a Party School and a Marriott hotel. Interestingly, no buildings in the city are allowed to exceed the height of the Dacheng Hall at the Confucius Temple.
Breakfast offers a wide variety. The room's bedding is comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful; on hot days, they'd always ask if we needed water before heading out.
The thoughtful touch of a postcard in the room, paired with a pot of tea, provides a perfect way to unwind after a long journey. From here, you can easily walk to the Confucius Temple to witness its morning gate-opening ceremony, evening gate-closing ceremony, and nightly light show.
Food delivery services are readily available nearby, and it's only about 1.5 kilometers from Qufu Normal University."

"An absolutely delightful stay!
This hotel choice for my trip was such a pleasant surprise! The location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Check-in was efficient and quick, and the lady at the front desk was so kind, patiently recommending local attractions and delicious food.
My room was clean and tidy, with soft and skin-friendly bedding – I slept wonderfully. The facilities were complete and brand new, including a smart toilet, an HD TV, and high-speed WiFi. The shower water temperature was stable, and the water pressure was excellent. The view from the window was expansive, with no noise, making it peaceful and comfortable.
The breakfast offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted great. The housekeeping staff cleaned meticulously every day and replenished supplies promptly. Checking out was also seamless, with no waiting. The entire experience was fantastic, and the value for money is outstanding! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town and have already recommended it to my friends~

The hotel is across the street from the tourist center. It's very convenient to go to the restaurant that ranks high on the Dianping list and walk a few minutes. I highly recommend the okra in this restaurant. The juice is great."

There is a performance at the front of the temple gates at 8am every morning - the music is so loud it will wake you up from 745am 😂
10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea .

We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby.
It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel.
We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy .

"This hotel in Qufu far exceeded my expectations! The facilities are new, clean, and tidy, and the bedding is very comfortable. Although the hotel is located in a bustling area, the interior is exceptionally quiet and peaceful, like a sanctuary within the city. The service was the biggest highlight; the staff were incredibly polite and made me feel right at home. They also offered free Hanfu experience and Analects recitation activities, which created a rich cultural atmosphere. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and strolling through the courtyard in the evening completely relaxed my mind and body. It's an excellent place to rest while visiting Qufu."

First of all, the location is just opposite the Sankong Scenic Area, a 3-minute walk to the entrance of the Confucius Temple, and has its own parking lot. Secondly, the hotel service is quite in place. After booking and before check-in on the day, the exclusive management will contact by phone, add WeChat to send the location, and send WeChat to the relevant time points of the scenic spot tour to facilitate tourists to arrange time to visit. Our housekeeper is the beautiful Yang Ke, who is warm, thoughtful and professional. She adjusted the room according to our needs and introduced the room facilities. Third, the room configuration is beyond expectations, with Chinese-style decoration, moderate hardness of the mattress, and clean and hygienic. Fourth, the hotel has its own restaurant, which tastes very good. Lunch and dinner are all solved in the hotel. Because we checked out early in the morning and did not experience breakfast, Xiao Yang, the housekeeper, also helped us pack breakfast, which was very considerate. Fifth, pay attention to service details, such as putting a protective cover on our ID card when checking in, snacks and dried fruits for check-in, free mini-bar drinks, sleeping incense to help sleep at night, and sour jujube kernel lily and Poria tea, etc. In short, this is a very cost-effective hotel, and I will choose this hotel when I come to Qufu. The butler will take you to the room and help you with your luggage, help you connect to the wifi, and introduce you to the attractions and restaurants in Qufu. CChichidechiFacilities: A great hostel, it's been a while since I've stayed in one, and it brought back good old memories. The rooms are in the back courtyard, very quiet, and there's a bar in the front courtyard where you can socialize. The price is also reasonable.
Cleanliness: Very good, very clean.
Environment: Great, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and it's also very close to the attractions.
Service: Classic hostel style, everyone is very nice and approachable. Next time I come to Qufu, I'll definitely stay here again.

JJon19The hotel was great. Very comfortable and modern. It was warm and clean. The music that plays when you take a shower is really nice. We didn’t have a window in our room but it wasn’t a problem. The room had a good air filter and it didn’t smell musty or smoking at all. The location was good in that it was close to the Confucius Temple and our stay included free tickets to see the 3 Confucious sites.

The surrounding area offers convenient dining and shopping, and it's right next to the Confucius Temple, just a wall away. The service was warm and welcoming; staff greeted us when we came and went, and provided recommendations for dining and attractions. When we arrived on a rainy day, the owner's wife helped us park and even carried our luggage up to our second-floor room. All in all, it was a satisfying stay, and I would definitely come back again.

FForoughhThe hotel is only 10 minutes away from the gate of Confucius temple on foot. The traditional style and the statue of Confucius makes you feel like you are really here to visit this great philosopher’s city. The staff are friendly and they provide whatever you ask for. They gave us a book, a crad and a bookmaker as a gift. The breakfast was nice. The room was clean but yet could be cleaner. All in all, it works for visiting this historical city.

BBotinichWe specially chose to stay in Chufu to pay our respects to the Great Confucius. It was a must-visit to see his temple, mansion house, and tomb.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the temple and mansion house. There are also plenty of super markets and cafes.
Getting to the hotel was a breeze — a direct bus from the rail station took us there, and the fare was just a 1 yuan! The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. If you’re planning a visit, this is definitely a spot worth considering for a deeper dive into Confucian culture!

LLaura1The hotel is across the lake from Nishan, so you can see the Confucius statue clearly, and watch the fireworks. It's lovely and quiet. It's about a 45-minute walk to Nishan or you can order a taxi. It's nice to walk around the village nearby and visit the countryside. It's also nice seeing the stars after dark. There are no shops nearby so you can order food to your room. The floor is cold. The air conditioner keeps the room warm.
