"Our stay here was absolutely delightful. From check-in to check-out, every hotel staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. We arrived at the hotel past 10 PM, and the front desk staff were very helpful, proactively assisting us with our luggage and even upgrading our room. We had a private duplex villa with very new facilities. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and it was very quiet at night. Room service was responsive, and breakfast was good too. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the Confucius Temple. Highly recommend!"

"Our two-night stay. All the staff provided warm and attentive service. Tiffany and Evelyn handled our check-in, asking about our needs and communicating promptly when issues arose, which was excellent. Daisy from Juyuan Restaurant explained the menu items with a cheerful smile; the appetizers were delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the soybeans.
The breakfast quality was quite good, and they even offered free children's entertainment. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The general cleanliness of the property was acceptable, but there's room for improvement in the room details: the pillows were too soft, and it would be great to have a choice of both soft and firm options. The bathroom's under-mount sink had stubborn stains in the inner corner where it met the countertop. Since the mirror reflected these, it looked unappealing (I won't post photos, but they're noticeable upon inspection). The towels and bath sheets were new and clean, but they shed a lot of fine lint; it felt like I'd inhale the fibers when using them, which was quite unpleasant. Furthermore, regarding the carpet, I personally feel it should be minimized. In humid and hot conditions, carpets can harbor bacteria that simple vacuuming can't resolve effectively.
Overall, it's an acceptable stay. Given that it was a busy holiday period, I think it's crucial to consider increasing the cleaning staff. The hotel hasn't undergone extensive renovation in about ten years, so regular maintenance is very important. It's perfectly fine for it to show its age, but it shouldn't look neglected or dirty.
The hotel has a lot of character. A friend recommended it, and I would also recommend it to others for a visit. Oh, and the hotel is very close to the scenic area, which is extremely convenient."

"This is a fantastic hotel. They called me a day in advance to confirm my check-in time and informed me it was a windowless room. Upon arrival, they immediately upgraded me to a room with a window for free and even gave me a fruit basket and a small gift. The hotel is full of delightful surprises: the fifth-floor terrace offers a distant view of the Wanren Palace Gate and the night scenery of Qufu, there are tea tables and small snacks outside the elevator lobby, books on the bedside table in the room, and various green plant decorations. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with excellent, comfortable hot water. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The hotel is also very close to the Three Confucius sites, just a five-minute walk. I especially want to commend the young lady at the front desk; she was enthusiastic and provided excellent service. Not only did she help us find a parking space, but she also warmly introduced us to local attractions and delicious food."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's courtyard design. It would be even better if they could add a clothes rack or some outdoor seating to the courtyard.
The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to the Confucius Temple. The site itself was once a granary, and it's now flanked by a Party School and a Marriott hotel. Interestingly, no buildings in the city are allowed to exceed the height of the Dacheng Hall at the Confucius Temple.
Breakfast offers a wide variety. The room's bedding is comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless.
The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful; on hot days, they'd always ask if we needed water before heading out.
The thoughtful touch of a postcard in the room, paired with a pot of tea, provides a perfect way to unwind after a long journey. From here, you can easily walk to the Confucius Temple to witness its morning gate-opening ceremony, evening gate-closing ceremony, and nightly light show.
Food delivery services are readily available nearby, and it's only about 1.5 kilometers from Qufu Normal University."

First of all, the location is just opposite the Sankong Scenic Area, a 3-minute walk to the entrance of the Confucius Temple, and has its own parking lot. Secondly, the hotel service is quite in place. After booking and before check-in on the day, the exclusive management will contact by phone, add WeChat to send the location, and send WeChat to the relevant time points of the scenic spot tour to facilitate tourists to arrange time to visit. Our housekeeper is the beautiful Yang Ke, who is warm, thoughtful and professional. She adjusted the room according to our needs and introduced the room facilities. Third, the room configuration is beyond expectations, with Chinese-style decoration, moderate hardness of the mattress, and clean and hygienic. Fourth, the hotel has its own restaurant, which tastes very good. Lunch and dinner are all solved in the hotel. Because we checked out early in the morning and did not experience breakfast, Xiao Yang, the housekeeper, also helped us pack breakfast, which was very considerate. 10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea .

We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby.
It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel.
We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy .

When we arrived on a rainy day, the owner's wife helped us park and even carried our luggage up to our second-floor room. All in all, it was a satisfying stay, and I would definitely come back again.

WWoyixiaoyaoDuring my trip to Qufu, I was fortunate to stay at Guandemen Manju B&B, a very special place to stay. It is located in the center of Qufu and has a superior location, which allows me to easily go to cultural landmarks such as Confucius Temple and Confucius Mansion to feel the historical charm of this ancient city.
The design style of the homestay combines traditional and modern elements to create a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The interior decoration of the room is simple and stylish, and the beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring a good quality of sleep. Although the hotel does not provide catering services, the staff was very enthusiastic to recommend the surrounding food to me, so that while exploring local food, I can feel the hospitality of Qufu.
In terms of service, the staff of the hotel are very professional and friendly, and they pay full attention to the needs of every guest. Whether it is check-in procedures or daily consultation, they have shown patience and meticulousness, which makes me feel the warmth of home.
Although no catering service is provided, the convenience of the homestay has not been affected. There are many restaurants and snack bars around, which allows me to easily enjoy a variety of cuisines. This arrangement has given me more freedom to explore and try the local food culture.
