"We arrived at the hotel at night and were greeted by the owner. She was incredibly beautiful, gentle, and super easy to communicate with. She was also extremely enthusiastic and went above and beyond to help us with almost everything we asked for. The hotel environment was excellent too. We were given a sea-view room, and the stunning scenery was breathtaking. The breeze coming in was wonderfully cool and refreshing. The hotel is conveniently located close to all major scenic spots and attractions, most of which are just about a 10-minute electric scooter ride away. There's also a seafood BBQ street nearby, making dining incredibly convenient."

"This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!"

"The water volume of the tap is pitifully small, and there is no water in the shower head. The staff replied that the water consumption is large. It was around 14:00 in the afternoon. The water volume around 20:30 in the evening was almost the same as in the afternoon. After asking, they said they were debugging the water pump. I was speechless. When I checked out, the water volume of the tap did not increase much. It was about 6 times smaller than the normal tap water volume. The room rate was 800 yuan/night, and there was no normal water volume to wash hands and take a shower～～Haha…
The dirt on the bottom and around the toilet lid was unbearable to look at. The toilets in the public toilets in the shopping malls were cleaner than this…

"The overall feel of the B&B is very strong. The green spaces, swimming pools and gardens are well-proportioned, which is very suitable for the sea view in front of you. MM16736****The location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. The 700 yuan we ate outside was not as much as the 500 yuan the boss cooked, and it was a bit of a rip-off outside. The boss was very kind and talked to each other. The yard of the B&B and the roof are full of succulents, which are very beautiful. The only regret is that the weather was not good when I came, it was gloomy, foggy and rainy, the sea water was not blue, and there was haze, which was the biggest disappointment.
