"Our stay at City Suites was a fantastic experience! In terms of cleanliness, the room was spotless, the bedding was neat and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and odor-free, which made us feel very at ease. Regarding the environment, the soundproofing was good; although it's near the train station, we weren't bothered by the noise and got a peaceful night's sleep. The service was also very attentive; the staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and any requests were quickly addressed. The facilities were complete and practical, with fast free Wi-Fi, conveniently located charging outlets, and good quality toiletries. We were [travel type], and the hotel's location is convenient, close to the station, making travel easy, and they even offer a free shuttle service, which saved us a lot of hassle. "My stay at Monarch Plaza Hotel in Taoyuan was fantastic overall! The cleanliness was exceptional; the room was spotless and very comfortable, which made me feel completely at ease. The environment is elegant and grand, with public areas beautifully decorated, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from check-in to check-out, and very quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive and modern; both the bedding comfort and bathroom amenities were excellent, completely exceeding my expectations. Even though it was just a two-night stay, I truly felt the hotel's dedication and quality. "This hotel is rated five-star, but the rooms feel more like a four-star experience. Comfortable, but lacking a certain luxury. The price would be fair if it were positioned as a four-star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast; it offered a good variety and tasted delicious, comparable to the Landis Hotel I stayed at the day before. It had more options but no smoked salmon. Pros: Good for an overnight stay near the airport, with a 25-minute bus ride to the terminal. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the glossy duvet cover and sheets felt a bit low-end. Cons: The room facilities are quite old, probably a 15-year-old renovation. There are no power outlets by the bedside, so you have to use the hotel's slow charging device. Light leaks through the top of the curtains because the tracks aren't overlapped. The bathroom fan doesn't have an off button, but luckily, closing the door mostly blocks the sound. I was in a hurry checking in and out, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel. The picture is of a small fish tank on the hotel restaurant table, which was a nice little surprise."

"The receptions can speak English and help us book taxi to airport in early morning 5am because we don't have Taiwan phone number, which made everything super easy and fast. We saw many other people also waiting in lobby leave for airport in early morning. The shared bathroom had a nice design and clean. The common area was also clean and well-kept, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Location very near Gloria Outlet."

"I live in Taoyuan, but since many family members were visiting from the north, I booked three rooms for them. We went to the hotel to chat and catch up, planning to leave later. However, the hotel stated that any visitor staying over 30 minutes would be charged TWD 600 per person. I really don't understand this; it's completely inflexible. We've never had this issue at other hotels before. My family traveled a long way to stay here, and it was our first time choosing this place, but I was told I could only stay for 30 minutes before having to leave. I was shocked and definitely won't consider staying here again in the future."

* this hotel doesn’t have big billboard name, so you have to take extra caution while looking for this hotel. Exactly besides of Laojie River station - Le Midi Hotel. Lobby at 30th floor.
* this hotel located at Taoyuan Area, not in main city Taipei. Suitable for those who need short transit. i book this hotel because i have morning flight tomorrow at 09:00. MRT already open from 06:00, and only need 25minutes to reach airport.

GGuest UserAndrea Wu's service was utterly unsatisfactory. She was unhelpful in resolving my issues and spoke in an uncomfortable, off-putting manner. Her stern and dismissive expression, coupled with her general demeanor, clearly shows she is unfit for a front desk role. Despite it being quite late, around 5 PM, her inefficient handling unnecessarily prolonged my check-in, leaving my family waiting for a long time in the lobby. This showed a complete disregard for guests' comfort. As a returning guest, I feel this particular receptionist severely detracts from the hotel's overall quality and reputation.

GGuest UserThis hotel was recommended to me by AI, which said it had a good rating. I was traveling alone for business, but when I booked, there were no king rooms left, so I had to settle for a twin room. To my surprise, the room was incredibly spacious – so much so that it made me a little uneasy. There was a small incident when I checked in: my room was the very last one at the end of the hallway. Even though I went in, I just felt uncomfortable sitting in the room. As a single woman on a business trip in Taiwan, I decided to request a room change. I got a much better room closer to the elevator and more in the middle of the floor. It's only a 10-minute walk to the High-Speed Rail station and MRT station from here. Across the street, there's a Pxmart supermarket and a small noodle shop, both of which serve really tasty food. The food in the shopping mall, however, was both expensive and unappetizing.

Please take note that you may incur charges if you left luggage at hotel overnight, Room that allocated to us with huge bath tub with jacuzzi. The bath room size about one third of room size.

GGuest UserThe location is a bit far from Dayuan station, especially at late night. There are two apartments in the same address, and the picture of the booking shows the wrong address so that I couldn't check in with the QR code. Luckily, the host picked up the phone and guided me to the correct apartment. I stayed only for less than 3 hours with a nap and shower, so nothing really matter to me.

Is convenient to travel to other cities as there is a metro station downstairs.
Hotel amenities not up to standard thus low rate given, and already feedback to the staff. There was a crackline on the window, the TV was so special that we could not get back to the TV channel; and the bidget is not functioning properly.
Overall, is ok if need a good wash up and rest before the early flight. Great sunrise & airport views! (In the photo you can see the cracked line of the window 😅).

GGuest UserI stayed at the Benz hotel for a 4 day shopping and foodie trip at the end of February 2026 and it turned out to be a gem. I arrived late around 23:00 and was greeted by a friendly staff that had my room ready. I had just taken a short 18 minute walk to the hotel from the A22 Laojie River Station where I arrived on the direct blue commuter train from the airport. At first I could not find the Benz hotel entrance, but after asking for directions I was pointed to the front desk of the Bentley hotel where on the wall behind the desk clerks are both hotel names, Bentley and Benz. When I had booked the room the Bentley was offered at a slightly higher cost, and seeing I was on a budget trip alone, I booked the Benz. After checking in, I was directed to the Benz hotel elevator around the corner of the front desk. Further down are the elevators for the Bentley,here is the noticeable difference between the two hotels, The Benz is one elevator approximately 3 feet by 6 feet, and the Bentley has 2 very large beautiful elevators. When I got to my room I did my normal checks for bugs, cleanliness and non-smell. All had passed with flying colors. The room was great with amenities and plenty in size. The bed was firm but not hard, the TV was hard to hear when the AC was running but besides those things it's a great deal and place to stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Healthy, fresh and hot and a new menu each day. It was more in the asian style and not like your western style, which I much prefer. The coffee machine was perfect and the selection of food was abundant. Overall I would stay again. Public transportation was close by, Taxi, Trains and bus stations within blocks and easy walking. The street has a lot of construction and could be rather intimidating, if you are not the type that can feel comfortable with the odd surroundings that are here.

The sofa had noticeable dirt in its crevices that hadn't been cleaned, and the decor felt a bit dated. However, the hardware facilities were comfortable, and the breakfast selection was quite decent. It's definitely worth the price, and the location right next to Zhongli Night Market is excellent.

CCharleeeI arrived late and left early, the hotel was clean and had everything you needed for an overnight transit stay. The man at reception could have been a bit friendlier though.
Also there was a very loud running water sound that lasted all night, I think either the plumbing or AC upstairs was making a strange noise. But after a while I didn’t notice the noise.
The hotel helped me book a taxi back to the airport which was 200 TWD. It’s very close to the airport, it took 3 minutes by car in the morning.
I didn’t try the breakfast.
