"I brought my child here for a staycation during the Dragon Boat Festival. I had really wanted to book the Little Yellow Duck family room, but unfortunately, I booked too late and it was unavailable. I was a bit disappointed before we even left. When checking in, I mentioned this, and Ms. Tong at the front desk immediately suggested the Little Lamb themed family room. She showed my child pictures of the fun decorations in the room. My child was absolutely thrilled! The cute lamb-themed elements and a storybook made it incredibly whimsical. The complementary children's toiletries also kept my little one excited throughout, completely making up for not getting our original preferred room.
During our stay, there was a minor issue with the air conditioning. I contacted the front desk, and Manager Ji responded incredibly quickly and handled it professionally and efficiently. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and it didn't impact our good mood at all.
Overall, our stay was fantastic. From the thoughtful and flexible service at the front desk to the efficient and reliable problem-solving, you could feel the care in every detail. Staying here with a child was comfortable and stress-free. I will definitely prioritize staying here again for future trips."

"I actually stayed for three nights, but booked under two separate reservations. The room key is linked to the booking, so for the same room type, you don't need to switch rooms; just go to the front desk to refresh your key card!
Late check-out until 2 PM is allowed without needing to request it.
As soon as you enter the room, you can see the Ferris wheel đĄ. While the view isn't as good as the Holiday Inn I stayed at for a business trip previously, for a Ferris wheel view room at this price, what more could you ask for?
The mini-bar is complimentary, and the lobby offers self-service candies, cookies, and tea. The room is spacious, fully smart-controlled, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. They provide lotion, incredibly comfortable slippers, and a Dyson hairdryer â excellent value for money!
The bed and pillows are very soft, feel great on the skin, and everything is clean and tidy!
Supplies are replenished promptly every day, and the service is excellent.
I also really love the hotel's exterior architecture, and Jin Gang Bridge is right at the entrance.
Breakfast is rather simple but has everything you need, and the dining area is very large, so it never feels crowded. The tomato and egg noodles with gluten topping are delicious, though the breads aren't very good. The cereal is decent. They have prawn crackers every day, haha~ The coffee is very strong and needs a lot of milk.
If you order takeout, a robot delivers it to your room, which is safe and convenient!
It wasn't until my last night that I discovered they had white fungus soupâŠ"

The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall."

"The location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street.
The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China.
The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores.
For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand."

"The Astor Hotel is absolutely stunning! My parents and I stayed for two nights and honestly, we didn't want to leave. It was their first time visiting Tianjin, and staying in a hotel with such a rich history and cultural heritage felt incredibly special. Our room, despite its age, was meticulously clean and decorated so charmingly, every photo we took looked straight out of an old vintage movie. We stayed in both a balcony room and a non-balcony room, and each had its own charm. The balcony room was smaller, perfect for one person, but had the largest terrace where you could enjoy the street views up close, breathe in the Tianjin air, and even hear the park-goers playing their instruments, haha! The non-balcony room was much more spacious, feeling huge even for my parents, they could practically run circles in it! Some of the furniture showed a bit of wear due to age, but that's part of staying in a historic hotel, and it was perfectly acceptable. The hotel's current top-up gift offer is a fantastic deal, and I'm already looking forward to my next stay in Tianjin. Highly recommend, 10/10!"

TTulang2005What satisfied me most about this trip to Yangliuqing Ancient Town was staying in this blue brick courtyard B&B. As soon as I stepped in, the antique atmosphere hit me in the face. The blue bricks and black tiles, carved doors and windows, are full of historical charm, which immediately brought me back to the old times.
There are surprises hidden everywhere inside the room. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the bedding is clean and tidy, allowing me to have a good sleep after a busy day. The interior decoration is simple yet elegant, with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. It is fully equipped with air conditioning, smart bathroom and other facilities, allowing guests to enjoy the quaint atmosphere while maintaining the convenience of life.
The public area of ââthe homestay is also very cozy. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard of the quadrangle. In your spare time, you can bask in the sun, drink tea, and feel the peacefulness of time. The boss was very hospitable. He not only helped plan the itinerary, but also shared many local specialties. Every moment in this homestay is extremely comfortable. It is highly recommended to friends who come to Yangliuqing Ancient Town. It will add a different kind of warmth and beauty to your journey.

While breakfast wasn't lavish, it offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options, with decent flavors â definitely enough to fill you up. XXuanningThis is my second stay at the Time Walk Hotel, and once again, it's as thoughtful and heartwarming as ever.
I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so I decided to come back. My trip to Tianjin was for 4 nights in total, but the first two nights were over the weekend, and the hotel was fully booked. So, I smoothly checked in on Monday. It happened to be my friend's birthday on the day we checked in, and the front desk noticed. They surprised her with a birthday cake and longevity noodles! Although the cake wasn't huge, it genuinely touched my friend â she hadn't celebrated her birthday in 6 or 7 years. Her husband even messaged me, saying the hotel was more considerate than he was! How can a hotel be so incredibly thoughtful? They truly make you feel right at home.
Every room is spacious, and the space is utilized very well. The hotel amenities and facilities are complete and well-equipped.
Looking forward to my next stay!

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated in the suburbs, but there is a metro station within 500 m from the hotel. It will take you about 1.5 h to get to the city center by metro or about 50 minutes by taxi (DiDi). Neat the metro there is a big shopping center where you can find everything you may potentially need (those desserts from Holiland are amazing!) The breakfast is very tasty and you can definitely find something tasty to eat both from local cuisine as well as some Western-style things. The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the stay and had a possibility to relax.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both Western and Chinese options. We even got a room upgrade! The housekeeping auntie did a meticulous job with cleaning, making for a really pleasant stay. Plus, they have a laundry room and a gym, which is a great bonus.

GGuest UserEnjoyed our two night stay.The hotel staff is beyond amazing. Very kind and welcoming. Check in was smooth and fast , the staff is very kind,fast and helpful in answering any questions and addressing any issues.
On second day, had an emergency travel to Beijing, Ms Pang Ping and Wang helped organize transport to airport to get subway to Beijing, she kept checking in to see where we had reached on our return back and organized for a car to pick us up since we arrived late at night. She handed us over to the evening staff smoothly to help us with the late night arrival back to the hotel. Mr Wang our driver to the airport spoke English and was helpful in giving us directions to the subway and train station.
The driver, Mr. Chen, very kind man, was already at the airport by the time we arrived to pick us up.
When we got to the hotel, he helped to get a refreshment from the hotel restaurant.
We had an early morning flight and Ms Song Jia and Ms Wang Qian were very kind to give us a wake up call at 4:30am, organize for us a car to the airport and helped me us with our luggage .
The hotel stay overall was comfortable and nice. Slept in the business double room. The rooms are spacious, very clean and are cleaned daily. Thereâs a self service laundry room at the hotel.

Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway.
When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in,
we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return.
First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful.
They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room.
Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service.
No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China.
Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts.
All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin.
PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

We chose the Four Seasons Tianjin for a friend's birthday this time, and the experience far exceeded our expectations! Especially Coco, the Guest Relations Manager who assisted us, her dedication and professionalism throughout made us incredibly touched.
I communicated our needs with her via WeChat long beforehand. Upon learning that my friend is a football fan, she immediately helped us create a super cool football-themed birthday setup, from football balloons and trophy decorations to themed banners. Every detail was meticulously arranged. It looked vibrant during the day, and when the lights were on at night, the ambiance was absolutely legendary. Even the rose petals on the bed and the bathtub decorations weren't missed, making the whole experience incredibly ceremonial.

The hotel's views and facilities are also impressive. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer panoramic city skyline views. The night view, coupled with the room's decor, made for fantastic photo opportunities. But what truly stood out was the service from this Guest Relations Manager. Her attentiveness wasn't a standardized, perfunctory approach; she genuinely took guests' needs to heart and perfected every single detail.
Such an employee is truly a treasure to the hotel, and I hope Four Seasons recognizes her outstanding performance! Because of her, I will definitely return to the Four Seasons next time and will unreservedly recommend it to all my friends!

GGuest UserThe environment here is absolutely stunning with a 720-degree panoramic view! The floor-to-ceiling windows all around offer unobstructed cityscapes during the day and a magical atmosphere with countless lights at night. The room is clean and airy, and you can enjoy the view right from your bed. I'll definitely be back for my next trip! The service was excellent too. We arrived early, and they had a vacant room cleaned for us, so we were able to check in at noon. The package also included two tickets to a crosstalk show, which we enjoyed. Super value for money!

GGuest UserI stayed here for one night while driving during the Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are pretty good, clean and smell-free, and the bed in the standard room is also very big, with a bed of 1.35 meters. The transportation is convenient, just off the highway.
