All the staff were polite and friendly, and the check-in process was quick and hassle-free. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Tianjin. Highly recommend!"

"The service was decent, pretty much what you'd expect from a Westin. However, the room itself was a letdown. There was dust in many spots that clearly hadn't been cleaned, and to top it off, I even found an insect 🐛, not sure if it was a cockroach or something else… it was alive and crawling on the carpet… They provided two servings of welcome fruit, but it wasn't very fresh. The complimentary gifts were a nice touch, all themed around Tianjin specialties like Shanhaiguan and Haihe milk. The breakfast also featured local delights like Zhangji baozi, miancha, and gabacai, which is really great for tourists as you can experience Tianjin's local flavors without even leaving the hotel."

"This time I came to Tianjin and specifically chose the Radisson Blu Aqua City. It's right next to Xibei Jiao, just a few minutes' walk to that popular street food area. You can pick and choose from Jianbing Guozi, Guobacai, Miancha – it's super convenient to stroll over for breakfast in the morning, saving you the hassle of finding parking. 🚗 Parking is indeed stress-free: The hotel has its own ground-level parking, with plenty of spots. If it's full, you can park in the mall's underground lot, and it's all free, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. 🛏️ Room upgrade surprise: The front desk proactively upgraded my room for free. It was very spacious and even came with a refrigerator, which was handy for drinks and fruits in the summer. The service attitude was also excellent, very welcoming from check-in to check-out. ⚠️ However, there are two noticeable drawbacks: First, the soundproofing in rooms facing the street isn't great; you can hear traffic noise at night. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend asking the front desk for a room on the back side. Second, the mattress is on the soft side, so those who prefer a firm bed might find it uncomfortable for their back. Overall, given the excellent location and convenient parking, I would consider staying here again next time, but I'll make sure to request a quiet room."

"Overall, a rather unpleasant stay. Pros: The location is excellent, and the hundred-year-old building has a lot of history and character. It's newly renovated, and the hygiene is good. The decor is tastefully done, and the room is compact and comfortable. A bonus point for having a garment steamer instead of a traditional iron. Breakfast offers a rich variety of options. Cons: The formaldehyde smell was very strong, making my eyes sting. The service was terrible. I woke up at 7 AM with stinging eyes and asked to change rooms, but the housekeeping staff told me it would be impossible until the afternoon because no rooms of my type had checked out yet. I reluctantly went down for breakfast. While eating, I saw many people checking out with their luggage. I asked to change rooms again and was told it would take about an hour and a half. Okay, I decided to check out immediately. I developed a fever for three days after returning home."

"When I chose to stay in Tianjin, I picked the St. Regis. The Star manager contacted me beforehand to ask about my preferences, whether I was driving, and my check-in time, which was very thoughtful. Even though check-in was at 3 PM, I arrived earlier, and they did their best to arrange an early check-in and upgraded my room. It was a king room facing the Hai River. The room itself was very spacious, and the bed was large and comfortable. The scent of the toiletries was a lovely herbal fragrance! Any questions I had for the butler were answered promptly, and items were delivered very quickly. Breakfast was also delicious, a wonderful blend of Western and Chinese cuisines with Tianjin specialties. I especially loved the egg rolls. Plus, they could deliver coffee and tea to my room anytime, which was very convenient! I just wish there were more convenient and closer parking spots, and it would be even better if the TV had screen mirroring!"

"The location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street. The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China. The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand."

"I originally planned to stay two nights at the Tangla Hotel, but after one night I couldn't stand it and urgently switched to the Langham Place. Langham Place is so much better! The decor is new, the amenities are complete, the views are great, and the top-floor scenery is unbeatable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! One evening, my takeout order got mixed up, but the front desk staff handled it really well. Even during the peak of Dragon Boat Festival check-ins and takeout deliveries, everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommend!"

Everyone we met was so warm, truly going above and beyond to surprise and delight us. 1️⃣ **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located near Ancient Culture Street, the Italian Style Area, Wanghailou Church, and Runzeyuan. It’s an easy 10-minute walk or a quick taxi ride (about 10-something RMB). 2️⃣ **View:** The river view rooms offer excellent vistas. At night, the neon lights on both sides of the Haihe River reflect beautifully, and boats glide across the water, creating a stunning scene. A heads-up: not all rooms have balconies with openable doors, so you might want to confirm this when booking. 3️⃣ **Room:** River view rooms start from 60 square meters and include a balcony. The first round of mini-bar drinks is complimentary. There’s a spacious sofa, perfectly comfortable for an extra person to sleep on. For just over 1,000 RMB a night, the value for money is excellent! 4️⃣ **Service:** Every single staff member at the Banyan Tree was polite, friendly, warm, and enthusiastic. When one of the sinks in our room was a bit clogged, they not only promptly fixed it but also sent a fruit platter as an apology. Mineral water was replenished very promptly; seeing that we were a larger group (3 adults and 1 child), they even left seven or eight bottles, making it convenient for the child. We brought a swimming ring but forgot the pump, and surprisingly, the pool area had one, which solved our problem! The hotel offers transfer services: a round trip from Tianjin Station to the hotel costs ¥80, and a one-way trip is ¥50. While slightly more expensive than a private car, the hotel uses large, clean, and comfortable business vans. Since we had a baby with us, the hotel graciously extended our check-out time. 5️⃣ **Facilities:** When traveling with children, besides choosing a five-star hotel, we typically look for rooms over 60 square meters and a kids' club. While the Banyan Tree's kids' club isn't huge and lacks toy cars, the upside is that it was empty! The benefit of traveling during off-peak times meant our child had the entire club to themselves.👏👏👏 The swimming pool area has two heated pools, which are more than enough for kids to play in, and the adult pool water was very clean. Ordering takeout was super easy, with a robot delivering food directly to the room. I must particularly commend the front door staff. Every time we took a taxi, they would open the car door, handle our luggage, fold the stroller – they did everything they could. We left something behind, and they brought it out to us on a luggage trolley, very professional. Although the room decor isn't brand new, overall, it's very clean, with an extra-large bathtub. They even provided multiple charging adapters, mosquito repellent, and corner protectors, showing great attention to detail. 6️⃣ **Features:** The hotel's main theme is Zen. There's a dedicated meditation space. I absolutely loved the hotel's signature fragrance – it smells very high-end, and the scent of the hand lotion lingered for a long time; I even wanted to buy a bottle to take home. ❇️ **Minor point:** If I had to find a fault, it would be that while the artwork in the rooms is Zen-inspired, the dark tones could be adjusted to create a warmer atmosphere. 💕 If you're visiting Tianjin with your little one, I highly recommend the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe. It will definitely add an extra layer of joy to your wonderful memories! Grateful for the experience! ❤️"
