This hotel is located near many of Tianjin's attractions including Former Residence of Li Shutong, Jingang Bridge and Double-Decker Open-Top Sightseeing Bus. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Tianjin hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"Booking was smooth, and the early bird discount certainly helped, otherwise, the inflated prices for May Day would have been a deterrent. The location is excellent; I've never stayed in this area before, near the Haihe River and Tianjin Eye. It's close to the Wanghailou Church ⛪️, a few great local restaurants, and within walking distance of the general education exhibition area of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, which made this holiday truly beautiful! The room has character. Relaxing on the sofa in the living room with a hand-drawn map and a Sprite, it was a space that lifted my spirits. The toilet flushing sound was the only minor drawback. The massive TV screen can swivel 180°, and I enjoyed over nine hours of peaceful sleep. The sink faucet requires you to bend down to reach it – a puzzling design choice, as in many hotels 🤔… The hotel readily agreed to an extended stay, which made planning my sightseeing much easier. The breakfast restaurant rarely had a wait, and the table spacing was excellent! The watermelon 🍉 was delicious, and the cookies 🍪 were seriously good."

"Let's start with the positives: 1: The hotel's location is quite good. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Ferris wheel and 10 minutes to the Ancient Culture Street pier. 2: The soundproofing in the room is decent, and the shower pressure is excellent. 3: The overall service is acceptable, and breakfast offers a good variety. However, the downsides are also very apparent: 1: The room type names are incredibly misleading. I specifically chose the 'Flowing River View Twin Room' but ended up with what felt more like a 'River Canal Prison View Room.' If this is the view, they really shouldn't use 'Haihe River View' in the name; it's too deceptive for consumers. If this view were a free upgrade, I wouldn't complain, but paying for it made me feel like I was getting ripped off. 2: The facilities and equipment are outdated. The power outlets by the bed are few and loose; I had to use some mechanical ingenuity to keep plugs from falling out, and half my devices had to be charged by the kettle. The hairdryer in the bathroom felt like something from ten years ago—heavy as a dumbbell, but the air it produced was as gentle as a natural breeze, barely effective. If they can't afford a Dyson, surely they can at least get a domestic brand like Refa? Overall, the experience was very mediocre. If it were a 500-yuan business trip, I could accept it, but for a vacation, I'm truly disappointed and won't choose this hotel again."

"This hotel, a former five-star establishment, retains facilities from over a decade ago. While the TV is quite outdated and unclear, the rest of the amenities are excellent, reflecting true five-star quality, especially the magnificent five-star night view. The location is superb; you won't find a hotel closer to the Tianjin Eye. Step out and you're right by the Ferris wheel, Yongle Wharf, and a sightseeing bus stop, making night boat tours incredibly convenient. Behind the hotel is Dabeiyuan Temple, and Wanghai Church, Jingang Bridge, and Shilin Bridge are also very close. A bike ride to Ancient Culture Street takes only six or seven minutes, then another 20 minutes to Century Clock, and a further 15 minutes to the Italian Style Area. It's definitely worth it for the Haihe River night view, offering incredible value for money. Breakfast offers a wide variety, with Western pastries and coffee beans being particularly good. There's a lively night market right outside, though I heard it's not great, so I didn't go. In the evenings, there are many street performers around, which can be a bit noisy. If you're a light sleeper, avoid the river view and Ferris wheel rooms."

"This is an older international hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it does have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The mattress is a bit soft, and the TV doesn't support screen casting. The shower water pressure was good, and the room itself was spacious. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall."

She was thoughtful and proactive, offering helpful tips for local attractions and transportation routes, consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism. "The location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street. The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China. The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand."

GGuest UserThis Orange Crystal hotel opened last year. Huazhu Group's City Comfort Inn, Orange Crystal, and Manxin brands have been updating rapidly in recent years. For the same price point, the experience is definitely much better than Marriott, Hilton, or IHG's mid-to-high-end lines. They seem to understand domestic consumers better in terms of service and humanized touches. It's quite good! ^_^

AAnonymous UserI have absolutely no complaints about this hotel, only high praise and expectations! It's about a ten-minute walk from the subway station, and the hotel's standalone building is in a great location, not feeling at all out of the way. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the special decor. The front desk staff offered us delicious hot tea, and we even played a small game with them to get a pretty floral keychain for free. The hotel facilities are also excellent; the smart toilet exceeded my expectations. They even provided complimentary snacks and AD Calcium Milk. On the second day, we received an extra gift of makeup remover pads from the hotel, which was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. There's a coffee machine for making coffee, and everyone *must* try the freshly wrapped mini wontons! (My only minor quibble is that the desserts weren't great, and the bread slices weren't particularly tasty either.) I truly love this hotel; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

AAnonymous UserOverall, the service was quite good, and they even provided complimentary breakfast for my older child. However, the experience at the pancake station during breakfast was not ideal. Firstly, there was no one manning the station to make pancakes, and it took a while after we asked for someone to finally show up. Then, the chef making the pancakes seemed to assume that each person couldn't have a whole pancake, but rather only a few cut pieces (a pancake is usually cut into 4-8 pieces). When I asked for a whole pancake, the chef asked how many people were eating and suggested taking less if there were fewer people, and to eat other things instead. This was quite strange; when you buy pancakes outside, isn't it usually one whole pancake per person? And whether I eat other things or how many pancakes I eat is my own business, especially since I wasn't taking extra, just waiting for the chef to finish one and then taking it. This was the only part that wasn't a good experience, and I hope it can be improved in the future.

GGuest UserIf you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke. There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

I was also very happy with the room type; the humidifier in the room was excellent, making sure I didn't feel dry even on a dry northern night. AAoaoyoudiantianWhen I came to Tianjin this time, I chose the Four Seasons over the Ritz-Carlton, seemingly because of its better location. Indeed, it's very close to Binjiang Dao, making it super convenient to walk to popular spots like Xiao Pang Bao Bing, Guxiangzhai, Zhonglihua, and Nanlou Jianbing. Of course, because it was a holiday, these places had longer queues. Next door is the IFC Mall, and opposite is Joy City, which has Sushiro, though that also had long lines. However, the room itself was quite ordinary; the facilities were definitely dated, and the toilet didn't even have a bidet. The only upside was that the room was fairly spacious, and from a high floor, you could enjoy the night view. But with ongoing construction nearby, I was woken up by noise around 6 AM every day. The room cleaning standard was even more subpar. This is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel that doesn't replenish daily amenities after they've been used up – theoretically, you should get a fresh set every day. I'm not sure if this is hotel policy or if the cleaning staff pocketed them. The most ridiculous thing was that on the first day, the TV wouldn't even turn on, even though high-end hotels usually have a welcome screen playing. It has an excellent location, close to Xikai Church and Binjiang Road Pedestrian Street, and not far from Wudadao, Porcelain House, and Tianjin Station – truly in the most bustling part of Tianjin. Being a super high-rise, you can enjoy panoramic city views while soaking in the bathtub. The rooms are spacious, the service is great, and most importantly, it offers fantastic value for money. This time, I brought friends along, and both families were very satisfied.
