"I already knew from a prior stay that the reception will not know English for the airport shuttle, so I had gotten the airport customer service to talk to them using this app. The reception gave me a WeChat account, so it was easier to coordinate the airport pickup. For the transfer back to the airport, there were a lot of people waiting around 5am, so it is recommended to give enough leeway in terms of time, since the shuttle is every 20 minutes. But the ride is just around 5 minutes. The hotel even provided slippers."

"While traveling in Xiamen, I stayed at the GreenTree Eastern Hotel for 4 nights. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, which has plenty of snacks and shops. It's also not far from various attractions in the city. The hotel service was great, and housekeeping was prompt. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen!"

"This is an old, upscale hotel in Xiamen, boasting an excellent location and environment. Its signature Napoleon cake is nationally renowned; seriously, back in high school 20 years ago, bringing a Marco Polo Napoleon cake was a surefire way to impress any girl! The surrounding area is packed with stylish bars and cafes. The gym has all the essentials, though the facilities are definitely showing their age – think 'old money' vibes. There are a lot of foreigners around, and the whole atmosphere really makes you feel like you're on an overseas holiday. In the evenings, you'll see plenty of luxury cars, which is quite a sight. Absolutely fantastic value for money!"

"The hotel is super convenient, right by Lianhua Road subway station on Line 1, exit 2! It's also really close to Zhongshan Night Market and the 8th Night Market. Getting back to Xiamen North Station was also a breeze. The location is excellent, and there are so many fun places to visit along this subway line! The front desk staff, KIKI, was incredibly professional and attentive. She proactively gave us recommendations for local food and transportation and answered all our questions with such patience. She really made us feel at ease traveling in an unfamiliar city. Because of her, my impression of Xiamen locals is a perfect 100! The hotel itself was also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors at all. It was a very happy trip!!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I was just so touched by the experience. 🥹"

"This hotel is affordable and comes with complete amenities. It's clean, the environment is excellent, quiet, and the service is exceptionally warm. Here are a few highlights from our family stay: Coming out of Yangzhou Station, take bus Y1 to the Slender West Lake West Gate stop. Get off and walk straight for about 50 meters, and you're there. The hotel's main entrance is right next to McDonald's, and the back exit leads directly to the Slender West Lake West Gate entrance. For those traveling with children, seniors, or people who easily get lost, you can't get any closer – this point definitely gets a perfect score. Taking a taxi or Didi to Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, or Yangzhou East Station costs between 10 and 20 yuan, which is incredibly budget-friendly. Yangzhou's morning tea culture and food scene are fantastic. Taking a taxi from the hotel, there are various local eateries a few kilometers away in different directions. You can check out popular restaurants on Dianping for authentic Huaiyang cuisine – the taste is simply amazing. In short, if you're planning a self-guided tour, staying here is incredibly convenient and excellent. Thumbs up!"

"Service: Five stars definitely go to the front desk ladies! Their service was absolutely amazing!!!!! They proactively offered detailed travel tips and were incredibly accommodating, recommending local specialties and even souvenirs we could take home. You really can't find a hotel this good elsewhere – what more can I say, Shenzhen is yours! They also handled any issues super promptly. We booked a 1.5-meter twin room, and the lady at the front desk immediately upgraded us to a 1.8-meter bed. I also want to commend the cleaning staff; the room was spotless. Amenities: Pretty good! There's a projector, though the Wi-Fi signal was a bit spotty and kept cutting out. For screen mirroring, you need your own membership, otherwise, you can't watch much. You can also listen to music 🎶. Environment: Simple and clear. The lobby is bright with plenty of seating for guests to relax. The hotel is only one floor, and Gulangyu Island is right across the street, so transportation is quite convenient. Just remember to close the windows when you sleep, as the traffic outside can be very noisy – it's not very soundproof. "I arrived at the hotel in the morning to check in. The room I booked wasn't ready yet, but after asking, I found out there was a family room available immediately. I decisively opted for it, and the handsome guy at the front desk even gave me a discount, upgrading me directly to a sea-view family suite. The room and all its facilities were clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The room offered a 180-degree sea view, with Gulangyu Island, Yanwu Bridge, the Twin Towers, the ferry terminal, and even warships all visible at a glance. Both the night view and the daytime scenery were absolutely stunning. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to go anywhere."

"My wife and I were really happy with the hotel we booked in Xiamen this time. The location is excellent, right by Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for eating, shopping, and entertainment. I highly recommend the fifth-floor garden terrace room I booked – it was fantastic! The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the private terrace was perfect for enjoying tea or a smoke outdoors. The hotel front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties on our floor were all incredibly warm and proactive with their service. We had a wonderful stay for four nights straight!"

"Hotel is located in strategic location. It is very close to department store, walking street and metro station line 1. Hotel offers adequate breakfast and hot food. The room is comfy with big bathroom. The only downside of this hotel is no sound proof. I heard every noises from street horn, upstair, downstair and the worst of this trip was... my room is next to fire exit and house keeping room in the 3rd floor. This was so so annoying and was interrupt with my sleep every night!!!"
