"Loved our stay at Hyatt for BTS D1 in Baltimore. Great locatin right on the bay and walkable to many places including the stadium. I was able to check-in early which I had requested and made the rest of my night much easier than if we had to wait. The front desk gentleman was incredibly helpful, hospitable and kind. The room was great, except a slightly finnicky bathroom sink, dripped a lot. The view in the elevator was also wonderful, especially at night. Thank you so much!"

"Definitely an upgrade from the normal stay very secure secluded and quiet in the night so you can get a peaceful nights rest absolutely would recommend to a friend stopping in town to visit friends and family or a lay over in between destinations"

"It meets Marriott's usual standards. Parking is in the parking lot next to the hotel. There is a dedicated skywalk from the 2nd floor of the parking lot directly to the 3rd floor of the hotel, which is very convenient. We chose to park by ourselves, which is much cheaper than valet parking."

"All employees were kind and helpful, even upgraded us to a corner king room on their own accord! I picked this hotel because it was in the center of everything we wanted to do on the rainy weekend we came out, it being a historic hotel was a nice bonus. Lobby was elegant with a bar and attached restaurant, room was clean. Only down side is the shower head being on the shorter side for my 6'2” fiance but he managed just fine. Valet is $50/night but I'll take knowing my car is safe and can use it whenever. Would absolutely stay again whenever we come back out to visit!"

"Here, I need to tip for daily cleaning and hygiene. The next day I also gave the result that I put a lot of towels and didn’t make it 😢. Breakfast is also very simple (there are three varieties). If you can choose to book without breakfast, it is more cost-effective. Coffee is 5 dollars a cup. There is no smell. There is no water in the room (the front desk told me that there is an empty bottle to go to the floor to get water (the result is that the equipment is broken 😅), parking is not free for 50 dollars. This price is the price of a standard five-star hotel in China, this time I really stepped on the pit."

"The room was very nice. When I checked in I asked about parking. They said I could go around the corner and park, it is connected to the hotel, and it would cost $29 for the night. When I left the hotel and tried to get out of the parking lot, the cost is $69! I drove around to ask about this problem, the girl at the front desk had no idea. She took my email address and said the manager would contact me when he arrived. It has been 24 hours and I have not heard from the manager. Obviously I’m not very important to this hotel so I will never stay there again. They lied to me when I checked in and then never responded to my complaint. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew I was going to be charged $69 parking for one night! Stay somewhere else."

"The environment is elegant and tidy, and the decoration is warm and generous. The beds are soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning is very quiet. The breakfast is varied and tastes good. The front desk service is warm, the procedures are fast, and it feels very professional. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy to get in and out. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers.
