"I was originally heading to Bristol, but feeling a bit tired mid-journey, I decided to stop and rest at this hotel in town. Compared to a typical Holiday Inn Express, the facilities here are a bit more basic, and the breakfast selection is more limited. On-site parking is quite restricted; I had to park my car in a public lot a block away. (It’s actually not far at all—only about a 100-meter walk.)"

"I booked this hotel because they had air-conditioning and with the excelled. The bathroom did not look properly cleaned, especially the bad tub and we had to have our bedsheets changed because they had markings and they duvet had a red stain. Breakfast was terrible and definitely not worth the £16 per person you would pay otherwise. There was a lot of variety, especially if you are vegetarian and the other thing is that the breakfast area was very small. They had a large group tour of guests in this particular setting and day it was Italian guests and it was just chaotic. Stuff are friendly."

"ALCON, I was very happy with my stay, during check- in staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was very clean and nice only small problem is that rooms are not set up for the powering up of cell-phones, Recommend the desk provide attachments so that tourist can keep there phones powered up. During my 12 days stayed at four other similiar locations, your facility was the only one without adapters for cell phone charge. Your food downstairs was great especially enjoyed the fish and chips. All in all a great stay I will DE finitely be returning very much enjoyed my stay with you,"

"What an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days"

"A Comfortable Stay with a Few Surprises As one of Marriott’s brands, I expected a little more, but overall, the hotel delivers the essentials for a pleasant stay. The rooms are very spacious, with two double beds—perfect for a family holiday. The indoor pool and the gym is a nice touch, though it’s worth noting that external guests can also use it. Things to keep in mind: Parking – There’s a £7.50 per night charge, which feels a bit steep. The website mentions free parking for conference delegates, so it might be worth asking at check-in. Holding Charge – A £50 pre-authorisation is applied to your card. While common in some places, many UK chains no longer do this, so plan ahead if your card balance is tight. TV Experience – The TV system could use an upgrade. Menu and guide functions weren’t available, and picture quality was poor—even on HD channels. Room Details – The room was spotless, but we noticed condensation on the windows and a slight odd smell on arrival. Nothing major, but worth mentioning. Overall: The hotel offers the comfort and space you’d expect from a reputable brand, but a few details—like parking, the TV system, and the holding charge—felt out of step with Marriott’s usual high standards. "The first stop in the UK is not far from here to the Lake District. The hotel is very good, the room is quite big, the breakfast is quite rich It is a very cost-effective hotel in the UK. There are gas stations and supermarkets nearby."

"Very friendly staff at check in. Room very clean, decor in good order and nicely presented. Bathroom very clean and in good order. Had an evening meal in the pub which we were very happy with - food tasty, nicely cooked and good value for money. The only negative for us was that the room was very cold when we arrived,just 16.5 degrees. We turned the thermostat up to 20 degrees but this temperature was not reached for several hours."

tayed at Holiday Inn Express Swindon West for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was good throughout the stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was included, which was decent and convenient each morning. The hotel was comfortable and suited my needs well for a short stay.

This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

Wonderful location and friendly staff; however, the way the property is maintained leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, cleanliness is quite poor. In one room we found mold inside the window frames; in another, a broken window pane; and there were numerous cobwebs throughout the house. The bathtubs are potentially dangerous due to the height difference between the floors, and the bathroom fixtures also show clear signs of age. The hairdryer is frankly ridiculous—it looks at least 30 years old. The food is underwhelming and nothing special; I would not recommend dining on site. We had high expectations, but they were all disappointed, and even the breakfast was not enjoyable. Our only thanks go to the staff, who were always attentive and helpful.

The exterior and common ground are clean and well maintained. The 2 rooms we stayed on reminded me of my student dorm during university days. Guess different portion of the house has different standard room. Rooms are definitely outdated, and the carpet needs cleaning, It does smell damp. Overall, it is reasonably good.

Location is good. Super service. But the rooms and amenities are too old, need to be repaired and renovated. The bathroom sink countertop has lots of stains.looked too uncomfortable. Coffee bar was not clean at all .

The hotel was well located as we visited friends in nearby Wootton Basset - reception was courteous and efficient in our check in… we asked for a room way from the lifts and this request was delivered. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly given it’s been a very hot few days! Breakfast the following morning had plenty choices and tables were clean and cleared up quickly. Staff in restaurant were very efficient and courteous. Express check- in was good too. Overall a great stay and serves us well.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Comfortable bed, the shower is working properly. We enjoyed the stay itself. The only thing is that we booked the hotel for the big amount of people and the prices were growing accordingly. So the stay for the first and the last person who booked the hotel was twice smaller / bigger. Consider that and you’ll be fine.

There was a double booking on our booked apartment but the customer service offered us another similar property which was cozy and clean. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was big and clean. We had a good night sleep in a stormy weather outside. Location was central. There was £100 online payment of deposit before sharing the self-check details, which has not been returned yet. I hope, it will be resolved soon.
