Hotel near Dublin City Center,Dublin
The easyHotel Dublin was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Dublin. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 1km from Dublin Heuston and 12km from Dublin Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Chester Beatty, O'Connell Street Upper and Dublin Castle all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Dublin hotel can make use of the parking facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for couples.

"The hotel is ideally located, very close to Dublin Heuston train station. With bus and tram stops nearby, it's incredibly convenient for exploring city center attractions. As an express hotel, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, though they are a bit compact and lack a kettle and a desk. Otherwise, everything was perfectly fine."

The Bonnington Hotel & Leisure Centre provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Bonnington Hotel & Leisure Centre offers a pleasant stay in Dublin for those traveling for business or leisure. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Killester located approximately 4km away and Dublin Airport roughly 8km away. This hotel is located near many of Dublin's attractions including GAA Museum & Tours, Tolka Park and CLG Na Fianna. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Dublin hotel provides parking on site. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee). What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating. The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average. The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff."

Located in the heart of Dublins Liberties, less than a 10 minute walk from Dublins top attractions. Contemporary luxurious 26sq metres with suites on the 5th floor overlooking the Liberties and St Patricks Cathedral. Our Liberties Hotel features multilingual staff members, a breakfast fit for a king, a convenient grab n*go marketplace and a 24 hour fitness centre.

"Everything was not bad at all. Even good. We were even glad that this hotel corresponds to the star rating, that the service is European, and not this British horror... And then, on the last night, from 2:30 to 5:30 in the morning we did not sleep, along with our neighbors, because someone was celebrating something so loudly that they left no chance for sleep. And no one calmed them down. It was just a village mugging-stop kapets... But otherwise, a good place."

"Pro’s - new hotel so it was very clean and trendy. Great shower pressure. Location is pretty good. Breakfast is great but very busy so a lot of the product runs out quick, more hot options would be good. Con’s - the men working on the counters weren’t too friendly or welcoming upon arrival. no coffee station in room, they have these located in the ‘galley’ which is just sachet coffee, for the room price I think that a simple coffee machine would be appreciated by all guests."

"The bed took up most of the room, but the space was compact, clean, and served its purpose well. I must say, the bed was impressively large. It could probably fit three adults comfortably! 😂 The bathroom had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I'm not sure if items like a toothbrush were available on request, as I had my own and didn’t need to ask. The location is excellent, very close to St. Stephen’s Green and in a safe area. The little café kiosk in the lobby serves the best hot chocolate! I did experience some internet issues from nighttime until the next morning, but the person in charge addressed my concerns, so I can’t complain too much. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, offering cereals, a small selection of pastries, and hot items like eggs, hash browns, sausages, mushrooms, and toast. There were also fruits and yoghurt available and also hot drinks and orange juice.Personally, I found it good value for €20 as it likely would’ve cost more to go out and order just a pastry and a hot drink elsewhere outside the hotel. Overall, it was a quirky and good hotel. What you see is what you get, so before booking, do your own research."

"Best aparthotel I have ever stayed at. Housekeeping is once a week (reception will schedule it on check-in), and privacy is greatly valued. This is my third stay at Beckett Locke and my fifth stay at a Locke. One thing I particularly like is that if there are personal belongings on the bed, housekeeping will not handle them. The microwave oven, the dishwasher, and the washing machine all work great. The shampoo and the hair conditioner are in a really good scent, Salted Caramel Vanilla. This is hands-down my absolute favourite of all hotels I have stayed at around the globe. The staff is also very friendly to Chinese people. They are always ready to help, and one can contact the reception via WhatsApp. This is really convenient."

Amazing
JJubeJubeI booked this hotel for my husband who was on a business trip and decided to come along as it gave me a chance to visit Dublin. Am so glad I did. I had a polished, gracious welcome, a lovely room (thankfully facing away from the main streets) which was quiet, stylish but most of all, very comfortable. I enjoyed the vibe in the lobby, it’s well used by guests as well as locals and the breakfast was generous and extensive. It’s always great when a hotel will continue to look after you after check out and my bags were taken care of and transport advice offered. Perfect stay!

GGuest UserIt was okay overall — the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is located near the railway station, and you can see the trains passing by from the window, which might make it a bit noisy. That said, the rooms are well soundproofed, so it didn’t bother me much. The breakfast was quite basic and overpriced, costing £17 per day.

GGuest UserHotel Review I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an excellent experience. The location is perfect—right in the city center, making it easy to access key business areas, restaurants, and public transport. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, with modern and comfortable rooms. The housekeeping service was efficient, ensuring a spotless environment throughout my stay. The staff was professional and accommodating, always ready to assist with any help. This hotel is a great choice. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to work. Overall, a great stay—highly recommended for anyone.

CColin CraigThe hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

TT___HNo one reply my in-app message so I have to call. And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

GGuest UserWe arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside. The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out. There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private. The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

PPazhoujingjingziFacilities: The hotel definitely shows its age, which is understandable after so many years in operation, but it's incredibly well-maintained. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Very clean. Service: The female staff member who checked me in appeared to be of Indian descent, and I had a little difficulty understanding her accent. I would definitely choose this hotel again. The city rail station is right next door, making it extremely convenient for getting around!

LLaurentontherunHostel is located in a OK part of town, although I wouldn't venture out at night. Dublin doesn't look particularly safe aside from the very touristy areas. Cabins are very private but not soundproof and you will hear everything on this old building. If you stay on a three tiered cabin you will even hear people going up and down as the whole thing shakes slightly. Free peanut butter jelly sandwiches in the morning and coffee!
