"Very happy with this hotel. If you are the type of person that plans to be out exploring Seoul for most of the day and just need a clean and comfortable nights’ sleep to do it all over again, this is the hotel for you. Currently staying here with my brother & we’ve booked two separate rooms, both cozy single rooms. Please note the single rooms can only accommodate one person!! The bed is amazing; you literally melt into the mattress! I’ve taken photos on 0.5 of my room so you get an idea. Very clean. Beautifully designed hotel with multiple areas to chill and relax that includes the lobby area on 2nd floor, lounge area on 18th floor and rooftop garden with amazing views! Excellent reception staff, fab housekeeping and well located; 7 eleven literally round the corner, ATM bank directly opposite and loads of places to eat within walking distance. Very well priced as well. Free gym and self laundry service on the ground floor, so all good with me. This will be my go to hotel when visiting Seoul. Wasn’t too bad getting from ICN airport to the hotel;got airport railroad train, subway then taxi. Didn’t realise until I checked in that there’s an airport limousine service that takes you directly to and from the airport directly and it’s cheap so will be using that service when leaving. There’s nothing not to like about this hotel. Works for me and will definitely book on my next visit."

"My stay at the Shilla Stay Samsung COEX Center was excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect, especially for business trips and shopping, with easy access to COEX Mall, restaurants, cafés, and the subway. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with great city views and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Check-in was smooth, and everyone was always helpful and welcoming. The breakfast selection was also very good, with a nice mix of Korean and international options. The hotel offers great value for money considering the quality, cleanliness, and prime location in Gangnam. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul for business or leisure."

"The front desk staff were gentle and polite, patiently answering all my questions. They even provided a中文 (Chinese) printout of various important notices upon check-in, which was a thoughtful and warm touch. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft. The soundproofing was excellent; I barely heard any noise from the hallway or outside the window. The facilities were complete, the air conditioning cooled well, and the hot water supply was stable. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the subway exit, but there's a rather steep incline along the way, which can be tiring if you're dragging luggage."

"Here's a recap of my stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel. The address is 737 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Even though I booked two months in advance, I ended up booking during a price surge. I paid 4330 KRW for 4 nights, which was basically over 1000 KRW per night. Usually, it's around 500-600 KRW. This time, there were a lot of people in Seoul for concerts, which drove hotel prices up three or four times. The hotel I stayed at last time in Seoul also had its prices hiked by several hundred. Since there were three of us, I booked a standard room for three, with one double bed and one single bed. The room was relatively small, but it was quite clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights, and it was very quiet, so the overall experience was good. Here's the transportation information: The airport bus 6006 goes directly to the hotel. You get off at the Riviera Hotel stop, which is right in front of the hotel entrance. You can enter the hotel directly, no need to walk even a minute, which is excellent. How to take the airport bus to Incheon Airport? The hotel front desk had two diagrams: one for the airport bus timetable directly to Incheon Airport, and another showing where to catch the bus. From the main hotel entrance, turn right and walk straight to the first crosswalk. Cross the street, and you'll see a Starbucks. The bus stop is right in front of Starbucks, about a 5-minute walk. The entire journey takes less than 2 hours. The nearest subway station is Cheongdam Station, about a 7-minute walk. Because the hotel is in Gangnam-gu, close to Apgujeong, we walked to Apgujeong. It took about 20-30 minutes, strolling and looking around. We took a public bus to Hannam-dong, which was also very convenient. The hotel also seemed to have a hot spring, but we didn't have time to go. There's also a particularly delicious 24-hour Korean restaurant near the hotel."

"We booked a triple room, and while it was still quite small, it was enough for three girls. We could even open three 24-inch suitcases, though it made the aisle a bit crowded. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious. The room and beds were small, with not much storage space, so we ended up using the windowsill. The toiletries were L'Occitane, which was a nice touch! We took the 6015 airport bus directly to Gongde Station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, several other hotels nearby, and if you walk a little further, you can get to Fritz Coffee. There are quite a few good food options around if you explore a bit. It's also close to the subway, so transportation is convenient."

"The hotel is located near a large outlet mall, but other than that, the area isn't very lively; it's more like an industrial zone. Its main advantage is its proximity to the convention center. Most of the guests are tour groups from India and Indonesia, and the smell of spices is incredibly strong – a real olfactory test in the elevators and restaurant! The hotel room itself was alright, but the bathroom outlet was broken. Not only was the cover falling off, but the hairdryer wouldn't stay plugged in unless you bent over and held it directly in front of the outlet. Everything else was acceptable, I suppose."

"Recommended place: The location is excellent, with two subway lines nearby. However, Gaode Maps doesn't show the exits clearly, and it's particularly tricky to find the right exit when coming from the airport line. It's actually more convenient and closer to take the subway one more stop to Mapo Station on Line 5. It's very easy to get to places like Hongdae and Gwangjang Market by subway. Walking to the nearby Gongdeok market takes about ten minutes. Most restaurants open quite late. The area is bustling, with many restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores nearby, including quite a few trendy spots. There's a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese. I noticed many Chinese guests staying here. The service is average; perhaps they don't encourage eating in the rooms as they don't provide cutlery. If you buy food, remember to ask the store for disposable utensils. The bed is quite large. The cleanliness and quality of the bedding are average. Nowadays, all Korean hotels don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own or buy them at a convenience store. If you're out exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and eat at night, it's a decent option."

"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers)."

"The Summit Hotel Dongdaemun was perfect for my trip. The location is excellent—very close to multiple subway lines, making it easy to get around Seoul, and right next to the shopping district. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities are great too, including a super convenient store right in the lobby. Clean, comfortable, and an all-around wonderful experience!"
