"The appearance of this hotel is very special and it is divided into two halls. The main building has beautiful floors and you can see the doors of every room. The room is fully equipped, but the furniture is a bit old, but everything is very clean. Maybe this hotel is 30 years old! The staff was very attentive and helped me carry all my luggage to my room. I rarely experience such service! There are two open-air free parking lots in the parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving tours. There is a small wedding hall in the main hall, which is simple and beautiful. There are both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, making it convenient for swimming in any weather. The breakfast options are quite good and tasty with lots of choices. Next time I come to Kagoshima, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!"

"This time I came to Kagoshima on a solo trip.
I've always loved hot springs, so I stayed at Iodani Onsen Kirishima Hotel.
The hot springs at this inn were absolutely gorgeous. There was a spacious open-air bath, and I was able to enjoy a variety of different types, which was very relaxing.
Also, the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes unique to Kagoshima, such as akumaki and chicken rice, which I was able to enjoy to my heart's content."

"My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers.

"I used this hotel for a short trip with my husband after work (we wanted to go to Kirishima Shrine)!
First, we were given a welcome drink of sweet potato shochu and tea, typical of Kagoshima, and everyone was having a good time. I also had some tea, and the staff were very polite and I felt that they were proud of the hotel. ^_^
First, we went to the family bath, and it was a very relaxing space where we could relax.
There was a coffee meal set, and I had never made my own coffee, but I was able to spend a relaxing time enjoying delicious coffee! The wonderful tools make it a picture. ♪
The large public bath was also okay. I went there thinking it would be just normal and clean, but it was very Japanese and stylish, and had a different atmosphere from the hotel's front desk and rooms, and it was very nice! There were several types of amenities to choose from, such as shampoo, and I thought, wow! I wanted to try this! I was happy.
My husband is tall. I wrote that in the comments section, and they prepared loungewear in a larger size for us, and we had a much more enjoyable time than we expected!
My husband doesn't go to hot springs very often, but
it was so good that I forced him to go, and he was so happy too! (*Ü*)♡

"Facilities: Formerly the Royal Hotel, the west wing has only undergone exterior renovations. Therefore, I booked the newly renovated east wing. The rooms are predominantly wooden, and the twin-bed Japanese-Western style rooms are quite nice. The onsen (hot spring) is a mild sulfur spring, and the outdoor pool is nice. However, it's not the main sulfurous white spring in the area; those would likely be more therapeutic. There's a heated swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a playroom, and a children's play area.
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Located next to Takachiho Ranch, it's situated on high ground, offering views of Sakurajima to the south, making it a good spot for sunset viewing.
Service: Good. Semi-electric bicycles are available for rent, currently free."

"First of all, I would like to thank the hotel for its assistance. I sprained my foot during the trip and the hotel provided the address of the hospital. On the day of check-out, I asked to wear the hotel's slippers and was willing to pay for it, but the hotel did not charge any fees. The child left an important toy in the room. The hotel provided very timely and proactive assistance and helped to send it back.
In addition, the facilities are impeccable. The hotel provides thick coats for cold weather and children's toys. All the facilities in the room are very complete. Impeccable.

TTammy MakThis Japanese-style hotel is relatively convenient to drive to. It takes about four or five minutes to drive to the nearest restaurant and shopping area. There is a road outside the hotel's garden/parking lot, and there is no place for walking. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive to Kirishima Shrine.
The decoration of the hotel is very new, the Japanese-style rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the service is sincere and attentive. There are four independent baths for individual use, two outdoor and two open-air. They are very Japanese style and comfortable to use. Breakfast is eaten at separate intervals in the restaurant, and the food is rich and delicious.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable hot spring trip.
PS. The red leaves on the mountain are so beautiful, great!

디디타Before making a reservation, I hesitated because of the lack of information, but after checking in, I was sure that it was the best choice. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.
Advantage 1. Private hot spring
I was happy because I could soak in the bathtub at any time. I stayed at a private hot spring ryokan in Yufuin, but that place had a structure where you couldn't see outside. You can see the river from the bathroom at Yuyuan. Plus, you can see Sakurajima!
Advantage 2. Cleanliness
Even if you walk barefoot, your soles are clean. There is no dust anywhere in the room. Even the outside of the window is clean.
Advantage 3. Spacious room
When I travel, I always choose a room that is at least 25 square meters. It's uncomfortable if it's small. The room I stayed in was 50 square meters. It was spacious for two people.
Advantage 4. Meals
I had seasonal dinners twice and breakfasts twice, and I ate at the restaurant on the second floor. It was very comfortable because it was a private room. The taste was also excellent. I was even more satisfied because the dishes were made with Kagoshima specialties.
Advantage 5. Friendly staff
I felt warm staying at a hotel with friendly staff. They were people I want to meet again!
The only downside.
I took the bus. It was a small bus, not a bus that puts your luggage in the luggage compartment, so I was confused. Of course, this is not a problem for those who take a taxi or rent a car. It is not a good location for those who want to be in a busy area. If you like to take a walk while enjoying the quiet and beautiful scenery, it would be an excellent choice. It was a happy time for me. I walked to Kagoshima Shrine. I gave carrots to a beautiful horse and prayed. Yuyu-an is the perfect place for healing^^

YYutingvThe environment is good. Maybe it’s because of winter, but there’s no loud noise. It’s quite peaceful. In order to not have to look for food around, I decisively decided to stay there and have two meals. Dinner was Kaiseki cuisine. I always thought I had a big appetite. Good guy. I'm so full of this meal! Although the portions are small, they add up to a small amount 😂😂. The breakfast is also good and beautiful, but the soup is not good, it is too salty. You can have a cup of coffee after eating☕️. The single hot spring room can be used by families or couples alone. There is a shopping street next to it, so those who want to buy things can have multiple choices.

The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. KKokoVery convenient location if you are looking to explore kirishima natural park. The room is big compared to janaese standards. Free parking on the premises and the breakfast is also very good. The room is ok, it has been remodeled, good place to rest after a long hike. There is a very nice onsen nearby.
The best point of this place was the person in charge, he was very diligent and kind to our every need. Rapidly responding to any doubts.
