"Since it was a winter trip, I requested heating in advance, but it wasn't heated in advance, so it was a bit cold.
And since there's no floor heating, it doesn't seem like a good idea to use it in the winter.
Other than that, the facilities were clean and the view was good, so it would have been better if I went in the summer."

"Let me start by saying I chose this hotel as it was close to the Canadian memorial and hill 677 where Canada put a fierce resistance during the Korean war. My father fought here and I wanted to see it. The hotel room was small, very clean, and comfortable. The most amazing thing was the couple that owed it. They were so helpful and offered to drive me to the memorial, get me taxis, provided me coffee and cookies. Their hospitality was far above the 5 star rating I can give. P.s. I'm in my 60's and made it up the hill, walking to the fighting positions. I has a wonderful time here. Great people, very nice stay. Thank you once again. Highly recommended."

"it’s walking distance to Nami ferry terminal. My family and I stayed here. And it’s very satisfying. The guest house still knew just 2 years. Smells new and everything new. Provide full amenities and kitchen stuffs. The family owner very helpful. They even help us to send 2 trips to MRT station. Thank you so much. Definitely worth it."

GGuest UserFormer Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Ggracyn parkeyWe had an amazing time here! Three of us booked a tent for three people, it had bunk beds and a queen sized bed and slept us all very comfortably. You have a private bathroom and shower with additional bathrooms near the camp store. There’s a ton of fun snack and etc. to buy at the camp store and a ton of things you can use and take for free (only thing to note is you have to pay through bank transfer if the workers are not around). The owners were amazing and offered pick up and transportation to Seorak bus or train station. We papagoed any complicated communication but were able to talk mostly fine with our extremely limited Korean skills. Highly, highly recommend and I will definitely book here again!!

GGuest UserWe are a family from Germany and stayed for two nights. We were extremely happy with the accommodation – the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We actually arrived one day earlier than booked, and he took great care of us, even inviting us for dinner! The cozy place was very well equipped – a large TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We truly appreciated the owner’s wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much again!

GGuest UserIt’s in a good location where you can get everything if you drive 5 mins. Swimming pool and Spa is just perfect to play and relax. However the drain in the bathroom stinks so once you open the bathroom door it will spread all over the house so quickly. And there are quite a lot of ***** on the floor and blankets hopefully it gets better. So if those two get fixed, I’d definitely want to visit again. The owner is super kind :)

GGuest UserI’m a young woman traveling alone and I booked on a Thursday night to visit the Garden of Morning Calm nearby. Booked because it had a bathtub AND a jacuzzi. Didn’t realize the jacuzzi would be an extra 50,000 won to use—but I paid it anyways and LOVED the hours I spent in it. The boss is super helpful—he lent me a charger and even dropped me off at a restaurant to eat dinner. The woman who knocked on my door the next morning for checkout and cleaning was also super sweet and understanding. The view from the room is STUNNING: all mountains and colors and breeze! Only drawback was that it was inconvenient to walk to from the garden since public transportation was confusing. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Amazing view, super cool cafe! We stumbled across it on accident and so glad we stayed here for 2 nights as a family. The rooms are so unique. Loved it and would always come back. Owner does not speak English but was so sweet.

AA solo travel loverThe staff in the check in counter cannot speak some basic English so they just gave me a memo in which the instructions and rules of the resort are written in English.
Regarding the facilities, there are a lot, such as projector and speaker, while the visitors have to bring the laptop in order to connect with them.
Last but not least, the view is soooooo pretty and it's super quiet!

Nnice-man서울에서 1시간반거리에 있어 접근성이 아주 좋았고, 주변에 식당과 카페가 있어 이용하기 편리했습니다.
시설노후화를 예상하고 숙소퀄리티에 큰 기대만 하지않았기에 만족한 여행이 될수 있었네요.
아침식사도 주변 식당물가를 생각하면 적당한 가격에 잘 먹었다고 생각이 되네요 ^^

드드라이어The swimming pool is bigger than expected. Because it's a double floor, the facilities are very sufficient But there is a little mold on the wall of the swimming pool, although I know it's not easy to manage the swimming pool, but it's a pity There are two standard people, so you have to pay an additional 30,000 won per person. Trip.com is not exactly listed, and the accommodation is not connected to the phone. There is an additional cost of 50,000 won for hot water, and there is an additional cost to use it again the next day. It is very uncomfortable in that respect because the additional cost is well documented or the phone connection is good.
